About: I’ve cared for both farm and house pets for most of my life. My dream is to have a homestead with as many animals as I can ethically care for. I’ve taught both dogs and my cat different commands and would love to learn more things to work on training in the future. I believe mental enrichment is so important to keep animals living a happy life. I’m currently a stay-at-home pet parent so my routine is quite flexible. I try not to be away from home for too long so my dog doesn’t have to be crated for prolonged periods. I am very attentive to my pets behaviors and I will be with yours too. They can’t always tell us what they are thinking or feeling so body language is very important.

However, if you're booking longer daytime care without an overnight stay (for example, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM), the rate will be adjusted to $20 per hour for the time I’m actively caring for your pets. While the initial booking may still show as $60, I will manually adjust the rate on my end and send it to you for approval before confirming. This helps ensure you're only paying for the time you need, and your pets still receive high-quality, attentive care. Additionally, please note that for extended visits, I can provide early morning and late night drop ins, but will stay in my own home as I have my own fur babies to care for ☺️ Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in the familiar environment of your home, ensuring they feel secure and relaxed. I build trust through consistent, loving attention, treating each pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s following specific routines or providing a calm atmosphere, I make sure your furry friend feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve started at an early age training blue heelers. I retired my service dog two years ago. She is personally trained of off leash hiking. I have two cats. One loves hiking and biking with me. The other enjoys home activities and cuddles. No matter what your fur babies enjoy I can adapt. They enjoy walks and hikes, or they enjoy a good nap with some good home play I don’t mind. I will send the cutest pics and videos if you enjoy updates. I work Monday through Friday. Six am to two pm. I can take off lunch for potty and play time. Before work we can walk/eat/potty same with after. What ever the diet, exercise, or routine is I will continue them as requested. I understand how important diet, medication and routine is for our fur babies.

“Virginia was my first Rover sitter, and I was very pleased with her service. I don't go away very often for just a dew days. Usually, I'm gone for a couple weeks at a time and find live-in sitters through Trusted Housesitters. My two cats are indoor outdoor, and that complicates their care. For my three day leave, my neighbor came over in the morning to put down their morning kibble and let the cats outside. Virginia came over in the late afternoon on her way to pick up her kids from school. She would call them inside for the night and put down their wet food. I wasn't sure it would work since they don't always come inside when I call them in the evening. Virginia sent me pictures each day of the cats inside during her 30 minute visit, so I was reassured. I will definitely look for Virginia again if I need to be gone for a few days.”

My family and I have moved all over the US and are now back in Washington! I used to run a fully operational boarding facility and board and train program in Island County and have decided to start out slow now that we're settled back in our home state. I have 20 years of experience training dogs- 15 of those years being a paid, licensed and insured professional. I take the utmost care of any animal in my charge. I treat them like family and honor all the requests made by owners to ensure their pet is treated perfectly when they are gone! I understand the love and care people have for their animals and do everything I can to show that same level of care when they are under my watch. I take videos and photos regularly to keep families updated, as well! I am a SAHM with decades of experience in the canine world. My dogs, and my clients, are my life. They are my whole routine! I am equipped to manage all varieties of dogs from the easiest house guest to dog aggressive cases or complicated medical needs. I tailor my services to each individual dog to give them the best possible care and allow their people to have some freedom and know their dog is well cared for. I make sure to chat with owners and let them know what variety of boarding I offer is most suitable for their dog. I am able to make multiple daily trips to feed, potty and play with client dogs in their homes. My times are very flexible and have often done combo stays- where your dog stays the night with me and I drive it to your home during the day and pick up again in the evening. This works well for senior dogs or puppies who need monitoring over night.
