“Thank you Madeline for loving our cats while we were out. She is prompt, and responsible. We trusted Madeline and would definitely contact her next time we are out of town.”

“She went above and beyond to help out with not only my animals but my garden too! Her communication was excellent and she was kind and genuine. So grateful I found a great sitter!”

“Audrey is a wonderful carer. She's been our go to sitter for three years. She is considerate, reliable and flexible. Our dogs love her and they're not the kind of dogs that love everyone.”

“Morgan did an excellent job. I'm always hesitant to leave my cats for any length of time but Morgan was so sweet and accommodating. She took great care of our home and our pets. We will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Natalie was simply the best taking care of our kitty, Fonzie, and our home while we were out of town for 2 weeks! She sent us updates and pictures every day. It was such a relief knowing he was so well-cared for in our absence. Natalie is a very kind, gentle person and our cat warmed up to her immediately. When we got home, he was super happy and our house looked great - she took in our trash pails and even vacuumed - just above and beyond our expectations. We can't recommend Natalie enough and Fonzie can't wait to hang with her again!”

“Jessica has been great. This is the second time we have used her to come and let our 3 girls out (dogs) and both times has been on short notice. She will continue to be our top choice when searching for help. We highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for help. Thanks Jessica!!!”

“Veronika was a perfect choice to look after my feisty cat! She worked hard to earn her trust and even got her to play after the first visit! I would highly recommend her for attention to detail and genuinely caring for the well-being of furry family members. Thank you Veronika!!”

“Thank you Ratih for your great service. Ratih took care of our pet for a week and did an excellent job. She was very reliable and followed all our guidelines carefully. We’re very happy with her care and would definitely recommend her!”

“OUTSTANDING FUR BABY CARE GIVER!! Christal went above and beyond in caring for our pups and cat. Always communicating and sending us pictures. She bonded to them quickly and she was family. We were so at peace knowing they were well taken care of. Thank you so very much! We appreciate you!”

“Rebecca did a great job of taking care of our cats while we were away. We really appreciated her Rover Card updates, which always included photos. She was also flexible when we needed to adjust care dates due to travel changes.”
About: Hi! My names Ekte! I currently have 2 dogs of my own and 3 kitty's, but I've had many more pets in my life time! I've sat a handful of kitties and dogs ranging in all sizes so rest assured I can handle em! Whatever your pet needs, whether that's just a friend to sit with, feeding, pottying, or someone to play with I can help! Just message me any questions :) P.S. I don't have many photos right now, so enjoy the photos of my littles for now 😋 The ones I do have, I specialize in silly pictures ☺️ I usually work 3 pm to 11pm at my other job! But if there's a time in between there just feel free to shoot me a message and ask! Im usually willing to take my lunch to stop by, and then once again when Im off work (free of charge of course :) ) Whatever is needed for your pet I'll accommodate too, whether that's special instructions cause they're reactive or a rescue (which I understand, no shame), or they just simply need someone to sit there with them, we can work it out!
“Karolina has been a lifesaver for us this summer. She is very responsive, always sends photos, and is willing to go the distance (figurative and literally—we live pretty far off the beaten path). She took the time to get to know our kitty. I was surprised when Klaire, who is shy, was on Karolina’s lap by the third visit. Thank you, Karolina!”

About: I have 2 years of experience working at a dog daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds. From playful puppies to senior dogs with disabilities, I've seen it all. Growing up surrounded by a variety of dogs, from tiny Yorkies to gentle Great Danes, I've developed a deep understanding of their needs. Whether it's providing extra care for seniors or giving energetic pups their much-needed exercise, I’m passionate about keeping your furry friends happy and healthy! I’m available to care for your pets throughout the week! Whether you need a dog walk, check-in, or caring for your pet while away, I’m here to help! Let me know your pet’s needs, and I’ll make sure they’re well cared for during the times that work best for you. Please note: Starting June 1, 2025, my HOUSE SITTING rates will be updated. On Rover, the listed rate will show as $60 per night, which applies when you're away on vacation or need care over multiple days with daytime coverage. However, if you're booking longer daytime care without an overnight stay (for example, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM), the rate will be adjusted to $20 per hour for the time I’m actively caring for your pets. While the initial booking may still show as $60, I will manually adjust the rate on my end and send it to you for approval before confirming. This helps ensure you're only paying for the time you need, and your pets still receive high-quality, attentive care. Additionally, please note that for extended visits, I can provide early morning and late night drop ins, but will stay in my own home as I have my own fur babies to care for ☺️ Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in the familiar environment of your home, ensuring they feel secure and relaxed. I build trust through consistent, loving attention, treating each pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s following specific routines or providing a calm atmosphere, I make sure your furry friend feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 624 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Whitney. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whitney. On Rover:
- 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 93% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
