“Thank you for everything Jasmin. You are so reliable and a great sitter. Thank you for taking great care of my fur babies. I will definitely rebook for my next service. Appreciate you a lot!”

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.
“Madison is great! Very trustworthy and my 20 year old cat always seems in good spirits when I get home. She delivers his medicine twice daily as prescribed and stays in touch while I'm gone. Recommend her highly.”

“Jordan took incredible care of our two cats while we were out of town! Jordan went above and beyond for us and sent us sweet pictures every drop-in! We definitely will use Jordan again in the future!”

About: I make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for, just like they would with you. I’m reliable, responsible, and love sending picture updates so you can relax knowing your pup is happy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I already set aside time each day for walks, play, and feeding, and I enjoy being outdoors and active. I make sure to plan my schedule so pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so it blends seamlessly into both my daily and weekly routines. In a client’s home, I respect their space and care for pets just as they would, keeping to established schedules, maintaining a familiar environment, and giving them lots of attention and reassurance. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, secure, and loved while their owners are away

About: I grew up on a farm with 2 labs and have always had a special love for the canine friends. Since I’ve moved to the city I’ve missed my dogs and taking them on walks so I thought I’d sign up for this and meet some dog friends that need some company, I love all types of breeds and sizes. High energy dogs are not a problem for me at all, as I love going on runs with dogs and also playing at the park. I work a couple blocks away from where I live so it wouldn’t be a problem for me to watch your dogs while at work, since I could pop in to check on them and feed/let them use the bathroom. Thank you for looking, -Jacob I work flexible hours so I can work around any pet schedules I’m usually home till 12, and come back for lunch around 3 and then get off work usually 6-8pm but I set my own hours so it’s flexible for your dogs needs (: I have a house within walking distance to the park, I can take your dog on 2-3 walks per day and can also crate the dog if needed. I work close to home so I will always be 10-15 mins away and can pop in and check on the animals I set up to 3 times in a single workday before arriving home for the night. I have a little backyard area that is fenced off and also a park 4 blocks south of me, inside my apartment is all dog friendly and they are allowed on the furniture/beds

If you're looking for a safe, structured, and fun environment for your dog, feel free to reach out! 📍 Blaine If I am not out doing things with dogs, I am at home! I love taking the dogs out for adventures, so we are always having fun out and about! I have a fenced yard and can easily keep my dogs separate if needed. About: I have experience working with different types of pets for 10 years. I started providing services when I worked at a veterinary clinic. I have provided services to different dog breeds and cats as well. I also provided services for some reptiles and a quail. I send updates every day and photos, unless otherwise advise not to. I make sure that your pet is treated how I want my pet to be treated. Pets are our family and should be treated as such by the people you entrust them to. I am working part time and will be able to provide plenty of walks and be present if any housesitting/pet sitting is needed. Currently I walk one dog daily and take care of him as it is close to the end of life. I treat my clients pets with the same respect I would treat my pet. I’ve had plenty of clients that appreciated the service I provided and love the photos I would send of their pet. I make sure that your pet is returned the same way you gave them to me. I make sure they’re well fed and bathed. If there are any Issues, I immediately communicate. My stepmom is a veterinarian, so any questions or concerns, I can directly address them to her if I cannot get a hold of the client in time.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Leary. On Rover:
- 99% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
