“Kelsy was super friendly, responsive and kept us posted on our Tabby's time with her. Great professional set up and her care was super. Tabby returned with us happy and asking if she could stay with Kelsey again next time! Thank you Kelsey! Great Job!”

“Elaine is great! She was very nice to my old boy, and sent me pictures of him during his stay. Hopefully she will have space for him next time, as I will have no issues coming back again and again.”
“Sarah was great! She was in constant communication and always sent photos. She gave details about how my dog was doing and answered any questions or concerns really quickly. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our two dogs were so well cared for, and it was clear they were treated with love and attention the entire time. We appreciated the daily photos and updates. It made being away so much easier. We will absolutely be booking again with Danielle”

“Jennifer was really kind and upfront about caring for my dogs who have some anxiety. She has such knowledge and skill she could manage them with aplomb and it allows me to feel comfortable leaving them with her.”

“Sheena took great care of our 4-month old puppy and 4-year old Moodle. We did a meet and greet and our nervous puppy liked her immediately. During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. Highly recommend Sheena and we will certainly be back!”

“Sheri and her husband took great care of our lab while we were out of town for our wedding/honeymoon. She took Kona on many walks, and even made a point to at least play ball in the backyard when the weather turned stormy. She sent updates and photos regularly, and put our minds at ease. Will definitely use Sheri again when the need arises. ”

“Terry was so sweet to our pup. He came home tired and happy! Terry took extra steps to get to know him, his quirks and silliness so she could take extra good care of him. Will definitely rebook with her!”

“Leslie is Max’s most favorite pet sitter, and because of that mine. My dog is shy of humans and often other dogs. Max settled into Leslie’s home and bonded with both Leslie and her two dogs. It was a comfort to me knowing Max was happy while I was away.”

“Hayley was AWESOME! She went way above and beyond to take care of our pug. Super responsive, and sent lots of pics and updates while we were away. She even bought our pug a little toy, which she totally loves. We highly recommend Hayley. You’re the best! Thanks, Hayley!”

“Thank you, Liudmila, for taking care of our sweet puppy. She had a wonderful time with you and your family and came home such a happy, calm girl! I really appreciate all the love and care you gave her!”

“Jael and her family made our dog feel right at home! Drop-off and pick-up were quick and easy, and when we returned, our dog was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We’ve tried kennels before and our pup came back stressed and underweight — but with Jael, it was the complete opposite. Stella ate well, played, and looked so content when we picked her up. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like family, but Jael truly does. We couldn’t recommend her more — 10/10 experience!”

“My pup is always happy at Kayla’s! He comes back in a great mood and is always tired from all the playing he’s done! She also goes above and beyond with being accommodating and care!”
“Susan has an excellent way with my dogs. She was gentle and calming, and helped my timid one feel safe and comfortable. I feel quite confident my pups are in good hands with her!”

About: Hello! We are Pat and Amy Having recently retired, we are excited to enter a new chapter of life focused on caring for animals. We have been happily married for 15 years, and our home has always been defined by the love of family and pets. We have three kids that have recently graduated from college and are starting their adult lives which frees our time up for other adventures. One of the very first things we did as a married couple was adopt our rescue dog, Sedona. We spent 15 wonderful years hiking, playing in the yard and showering Sedona with love before she sadly passed away last year. We also shared our home with a wonderful cat who loved playing in the backyard and cuddling with us. While we deeply miss our own pets, we have decided to focus on caring for other people’s pets for now. Because we are retired, your pets will have our full, undivided attention and companionship. We understand that pets are cherished family members, and leaving them can be hard. Having raised a rescue dog and a cat together, we are experienced in understanding animal body language, maintaining consistent routines, and offering patient care. We love the outdoors, hiking, and exploring new areas, making us the perfect match for active dogs who love long walks. However, we are just as content relaxing at home, meaning your lap-loving cats or senior dogs will have plenty of cozy cuddle time. We are respectful, clean, and dedicated to keeping your home secure and your pets completely at ease. We look forward to the opportunity to meet you and care for your pets. We are both retired, and unless we are traveling we should have time to care for pets. We both have SUV;s, so transporting pets should not be a concern. When watching animals in our house, we ensure that the doors or screens are closed to ensure safety. While we do not have a fenced yard, we live in a very wooded area so taking dogs for a walk is easy. Dog's would never be unattended or off-leash.
“Jamie was excellent with Dexter! With all the pictures that were sent, I knew without a doubt that he was loved and being taken care of. He even seemed depressed and sad to leave! Will definitely book again!”

About: I grew up with cats my whole life. I currently have a 13 year old tabby named Charlie. I have watched several cats, dogs, chickens, and goats over the last 10 years. I am very passionate about animal advocacy. I previously worked at NOAH Animal Shelter and Brigadoon Service Dogs. *I have experience administering oral meds and an inhaler to cats. I'm currently available full time for pet sitting which means I have a very flexible schedule. I am happy to check on your pet daily as well as other house sitting chores if requested. My husband and I are renting so unfortunately we can't host pets at our home. I'm more than happy to check in on your animals at your residence. I will leave it cleaner than I found it.
“Thank you so much Linda! My picky pup had the best time staying with Linda. She took walks, got cuddles and played, all while I got regular updates. I’ve already booked another stay and highly recommend.”

95% of sitters in Whitney can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
