About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid. It comes natural to me. Because I work from home, your dog won’t be left alone all day. They will get consistent attention and supervision. I currently offer house sitting, doggy daycare, and dog walking, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. In clients’ homes, I follow care instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine, comfort, and safety — treating your space and your pet with the same respect I would my own.

On the day of drop off, I loved Tara’s home from first sight. She has the house setup for the dogs to roam and be comfortable. She also has a fenced in backyard for outdoor exercise and play.
