NOTE: I’m currently offering lower rates while I build my sitter profile (updated 9/7/26). I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years and have a lifelong love for dogs. I was the proud owner of a beagle named Larson for 14 wonderful years. He crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023 from natural causes, and caring for him gave me firsthand experience with the love, patience, and attention our pets deserve. Over the years, I’ve cared for many friends’ dogs while they were away on vacation. You can trust that your precious pup(s) will be in loving, dependable hands with me! I enjoy giving each dog plenty of attention and affection, including singing to them and providing gentle leg and back massages (if they enjoy them!). 😊 I’ll treat your pup(s) with the same care and love I would want for my own.

Sara has always been a lover of pets. She knew from the moment she saw her beagle, Larson, in the shelter that he was meant for her. He was a wonderful dog who had a great life in Sara's care. Loving, attentive, devoted and involved, Sara has that special touch that true pet lovers possess.
Sara is a wonderful pet Mama! My Honey girl, who is 11 years old, loves Sara and can’t wait until her next visit. Sara always takes very good care of Honey, as Honey has special needs. Honey takes medication and has hip/joint issues where she uses a ramp to get on and off things. Sara is very good with all animals. Sara is very caring and would be a great addition to the Rover community!

Sara is my sister in law, and while I don’t currently have a four legged best friend, I already trust that my future pup will certainly be in the best hands when Sara gets to care for them! I’ve seen Sara with plenty of different breeds of dogs, all of which she has cared for, respected, and matched their energy to become their best friend, no matter how short or long their stay with her was. Sara pays attention to all the little details, so if your pup needs anything special, you can count on her to get it done. Sara is excellent at communicating. Any problems? You’ll be first to know! Want pictures and updates? She’s got you! Sara is clean, attentive, patient, trustworthy, and very professional and it shows in all aspects of her life. I promise you won’t be disappointed when you decide to book with her!
We’ve had a great experiences with Sara - my golden doodle, Piper loves her! She makes sure Piper is safe, happy, and well cared for. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely recommend Sara to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter for their dog! She has watched Piper quite a few times.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath single story brick ranch home in east Charlotte. I have a big back yard that is fenced in on three sides. I live in a very safe, walkable neighborhood. I will keep your dog on leash at all times while walking and on a leash or tether while playing in the backyard. For their and my furniture’s safety I will crate your pup if I must leave my home to run an errand or two. However, I will try my best to have any errands complete prior to your dog’s arrival.
A typical day
If I’m sitting/boarding we will go on several walks a day. We will play fetch on a tether aid/or a 20 ft. leash in the back yard at least twice a day. We’ll watch some evening TV and if your dog allows, I like give them a gentle back and leg massage while we’re winding down.
