I'm retired and have a flexible schedule with ample time to care for your pet. We can go for walks in my safe neighborhood and have plenty of playtime in my spacious fenced in backyard. I can work with your pet's feeding schedule or I can incorporate their schedule with my dog's schedule. There are always potty breaks every 2 hours or when needed. Parents, please note that my acceptable drop-off and pick-up times are between the hours of 8:30am and 9:00pm. I also require a "meet and greet" for pups older than 6 months of age if at all possible.

There's lots of room in my fenced in backyard for dogs to run. My home is also roomy enough for your pet if it's not so keen on being outside too much. I'm so excited! I'm always looking for ways to make your pup's stay as safe and comfortable as possible. As of December 15, 2023, I had completely fenced in my spacious back yard for active pups to have even more space to run and romp around and be safe because I really love taking care of pups via Rover. I will keep a smaller fenced play area for smaller, younger, and less active pups to feel less intimidated. There are many trees and different areas in the backyard to explore and just run and play. No need for the tether leashes! I am always looking for new toys and activities for your pups to enjoy their stay. Parents, I do require a meet and greet, if at all possible, before the first stay for pups older than 6 months old.

Information Jeanette L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pup likes the outdoors or just would rather stay inside. Would you like them to have treats or not. Are there any food allergies that I should be aware of.
A typical day
Playing outdoors is a fun activity for my pups. Chasing balls and retrieving them will be an activity for them that will burn energy. Many pups love to engage in "tug-of-war" with the ropes and toys. Daily walks (weather permitting) around the neighborhood to explore new sights and smells is another fun thing we do.

Pet care experience
I've been a dog owner and lover of animals since my childhood. I am quite experienced in caring for smaller dogs as they usually love playtime and attention. I've been "godmommy" to several of my friends pups and have taken care of them while their parents were away. I have trained my dog to ring a bell when he wants to go outside and to sit and be patient while I prepare his food for eating. Having raised a few puppies in my years, I'm quite able to house train them as well (of course it depends on the breed and age of how quickly they learn). I would love to be able to care for your pet and give them love while you are away. Let's do a meet and greet to get acquainted!
Reviews

Stoney always enjoys his stays with Jeanette and her fur friends.

Ms. Jeanette loves our fur baby and I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking him anywhere else. Thank you for all you do!

Ruby loves staying with Ms Jeanette! We are repeat customers and I trust leaving my little girl with her. Thanks for another great stay!

You will not find a better sitter to leave your pup with! Jeanette gives daily updates and you can truly tell she cares about the dogs that she keeps! We have used her at least 3 times for our Pomeranian and each time is exceptional!
