“Heather was wonderful from start to finish! She was incredibly enthusiastic, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process, and it was clear from the beginning (and even after) that she has a genuine love and care for cats. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was, and I always felt confident that my cat was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their little ones. 10/10!!!”

“Emily has been looking after our cat Alexei for some time now. We all look forward to her daily updates from her visits. It is reassuring to know Alexei is being well taken care of while we are gone.”

“Nick is a conscientious, caring and playful pet caregiver. He was very communicative while he looked after our little ones and provided updates on their behavior including pictures that reassured us. He cleaned up after the pets so I returned home as I left it. I highly recommend Nick who is a trustworthy and kind person.”

About: I have extensive dogsitting experience, and I also volunteer at the Humane Society with dogs in a variety of sizes and energy levels. I love cats and have catsat for all ages. I'm happy to be a friendly face for your pet, to create routine, and to do the dirty work of cleaning litterboxes and whatever else they may need. I'm in a flexible place in life right now, and I am available for drop-ins most days of the week. Are you working long days? I would love to be there for your pets! I am conscientious of your pet's body language and behavior in order to keep both of us safe and happy! I will also be respectful of your environment and your house rules.
“As always, Christina took great care of our cat Caesar! This was a last minute trip and Christina accepted without hesitation. It’s been so great having her look after Caesar these past few years and we’ll miss her when we move out of state!”

“Mariah, thank you sooo much for taking care of Una while I was out of town. I knew that you were a match for Una when she first you. Your kind approach and then loving play was superb. And thank you for the pictures of your visit and walking her. Una will love you forever for feeding, playing and walking her!!”

“Ivanis took wonderful care of my cats (and fishies and home) while we were away. I loved the photos, videos and daily run-downs of her visits. It was very comforting to know my fur-babies were getting playtime, food, fresh water and cuddles while we weren't there. She was very responsive whenever I sent her questions or requests. Would definitely book again!”

“I came to Ashlee with an odd request: could you petsit my two parrots for a week? She had never petsit birds before but took great care of my birdies! I appreciated how observant and affectionate Ashlee was with my pets. Instructions were followed well. Thank you!!”

“We had a really good experience with Kylie taking care of both the cats. Both cats gelled with her, she made sure to share many pictures from every visit. Had a peace of mind, knowing they were in good hands. We will definitely approach her again if we get a chance.”

“Absolutely amazing! I have a crazy amount of pets and she was experienced with all of them. My cats loved her and don’t normally like outside people! I felt super comfortable being gone and I know my animals were happy.”

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!
“Camryn was amazing! She was more than happy to meet Gigi for a quick meet & greet before the drop in. I appreciated her updates on Gigi and the pictures she took while walking Gigi. Will definitely book her again!”

“Alyssa was super kind, professional, and understanding. She took great car of James, even playing with him and texting me photos. She also cleaned out both litter boxes while I was gone. I will definitely ask for her help again, and I highly recommend her.”

“Lily took great care of my kitten this week! I booked on short notice after she spent the weekend at the emergency vet. Would 100% recommend and I've already rebooked for the future :)”

“Val was amazing! She did drop in visits for my dogs for about five days. On each visit she took pictures and updated me on the status of my dogs. I could see on their faces that they were having fun with Val. She even bought them some toys to play with. She was very attentive and responsible.”

“Mykale is a wonderful cat-sitter! I have two elderly cats, one of whom requires twice daily medication, and so I'm always a bit nervous about leaving them behind if I have to travel. Knowing that Mykale is dropping in on them while I'm gone has really put my mind at ease. She is very communicative and the cats warmed up to her really quickly. When the winter weather got truly awful she even switched to an overnight stay last minute to ensure that Rascal would get his medication in the morning as scheduled even if everyone got snowed in!”

Notre Dame cat parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was a great cat-sitter! She was incredibly kind and very communicative and responsive. This was my first time leaving my cats with a Rover sitter and I cannot say enough good things about Emily’s care. My cats seem so happy and cared for! She provided many pictures and updates as well as was so adaptive to unforeseen hurdles (my main entrance of my building was unusable and she was totally open to using the side entrance). The meet and greet eased so many of my anxieties as she asked great questions I didn’t even think about! I 100% recommended and will book her again!

Hanling took excellent care of our kitty! She came in advance to meet him and get instructions in person, and spent lots of time playing and cuddling with him on each visit so he wouldn't be too lonely while we were gone. She also sent us lots of pictures of him. We will definitely call her the next time we need a pet sitter.
