If your dog is coming over to my home, I have a large, clear fenced in yard where my 11.5 month old Irish Setter has plenty of room to get her energy out daily so you can feel comfortable that your dogs would have ample space to wear themselves out and a super-friendly (and gentle) playmate to help in that endeavor. Afterwards I have a spare XL hard plastic crate if they need time and space to rest or if they are spending the night, along with plenty of fuzzy blankets and toys they can snuggle up with. About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: I love walking dogs and I make sure I have 2 water bottles for me and the dog(s) or cats. I’m a local, so I know all the hip spots where the dogs like to mingle. I work in the NN Neighborhood, so I’ll finish up at the book shop and can take your pets on a nice walk through the neighborhood. When I am home sitting for a pet parent, I’d like to know if the pets is on a specific schedule and if they are in need any medications. I spend time with the animals sitting outside in the yard or inside the home for pets who cannot handle outside weather conditions. If you have cats, I’ll make sure their litter box is clean when I leave and that all water and food bowls are filled.

About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence. No matter what the situation is, I’m ready to dive right in and make your pet feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I have a Belgian Malanois who’s name is Beau. He is an Extremely passionate and caring dog with a high drive to learn. I have put In the time and effort to train and build our relationship as a family. I also have a Golden retriever and she couldn’t care less about anything other than love haha. I have a full time job, which ends at 2:00pm. From 2:00pm until bed I spend with my dog whether it be training, or walking. I spend a minimum of 2 hours a day training with Beau. I believe that your dog can fit right in and be in a comfortable, safe, home away from home. I do not have a fenced in yard yet but I’m outside every time my pups go out. If need be, I have leashes I can use to let your pup outside as well.
