About: Experience with small and large birds, cats and multiple dog breeds. We are a family of four who love animals of all kinds. I’m Amanda, the daughter of a pet store owner and animal advocate. I grew up with dogs, cats and many exotic animals in my home. Pat, dad to our velcro kitty has experience with large dogs. We have two daughters. A teenager and an almost teenager. Both share the same passion for animals that we do and have experience in dog training. We share our home with Ruby, our tiny toy poodle with a big personality, Mavis and Shadow, rescue cats who love to eat and relax in a sunny window and Luna the lovebird who loves to play peek-a-boo. One of us is home all day Thursday-Sunday so there is plenty of time to dedicate to cuddles, enrichment and exercise! Monday- Wednesday can be arranged with a bit of notice. Our pets are well loved and spoiled. We’d love to spoil your babies too! Our yard is unfenced, so dogs will be on leashes or on a run when outside. Comfortable with crating, gating or free range of the house. There is plenty of room for everyone to have space separately or together. Happy to do drop-ins for walks, feeding or playtime!

About: I’ve had dogs for 30+ years and now I’m retired with no dogs so have room for yours. I am gentle and playful as well as responsible and active. I do not take cats, sorry. I watch our daughter’s dog on occasion but would not watch him at the same time. I had a lovely chihuahua for 16 years, and a husky, as well as a fluffy white mixed pup, all healthy and happy and had their senior years with us as well. I’m retired and home all day doing eBay and other hobbies. I also take daily walks and would take your dog out often as well. I have a large fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. I am also home a lot and allow the small dogs to jump up in my lap and furniture.

I have more than 28 years experience with several animal species, including doing my professional businesses the past 4 years, working at a kennel, and several dog sports! When working with you and your animal companions you will always get photo updates, report cards, and safety as a priority! -My special skills include being able to provide enrichment and safe pet care practices, such as double leash retention, ice sheets during hotter months, water, and a first aid kit on me at all times during walks/visits. I can provide certain medical requests (such as oral medication or injections). I grew up with dogs (small, medium, and LARGE), cats, birds, small companion animals, fish, and horses over the years. I do this full-time and have plenty of availability! I can usually fill most accommodations and requests based on availability when a booking is requested! When caring for a client’s animal companion in their homes, I always make sure to conduct a consultation (meet and greet) so that I am introduced to the companions before providing services. This ensures that your animal companions feel safe and secure with someone they are familiar with while I am in their home. This is used to establish what boundaries and needs your animal companion needs from me while you are away. Safety is the most important aspect of my job for your animal companions. All services are base rates.
