“Jessica is very nice and knowledgeable about dog behavior so I knew my boys were in good hands. It's freezing cold at home, but I knew I could still rely on her. The pictures at every visit kept my mind at ease. This was my first experience with Rover and Jessica was outstanding! So glad they got to stay home rather than some dumb kennel.”

About: WHY PICK ROVER: Because you get the assurance of knowing your beloved pet is enjoying their vacation as much as you are. WHY PICK ME: Because I love dogs. I enjoy spending time playing, cuddling, and relaxing. Typical kennels, both at your vet/groomers and the "pet resorts" have multiple pets, and employees that are on a set schedule. Your pet still spend 85% of their time in a kennel/crate/enclosure. While in my care they will be given individual attention. they will have free roam and access to the outdoors as needed and be home to attend to their needs. The safety, health and happiness of my fur friends is my priority. I have had multiple dogs my entire life. I have been hired by friends and family since I was in my teens to watch and care for animals during vacations. I have owned and tended to dogs as small as 10 pounds up to 200 pounds. Security and safety of your pets are of the utmost importance. I am a part time remote worker, so my time really belongs to your fur family. 90%. I may leave for occasional meeting or meal. I will take every effort to stick to your rules and your environment with your pup.. I don't mind dogs want to cuddle at night or that need to be crated. Having lived with both puppies and geriatric dogs, I am more than willing to do late night potty breaks or whatever necessary.

About: I have taken care of dogs since before my family even had one of our own. I have dog sat for friends since I was in middle school. My family has had a dog for the past 13 years and I have had a dog of my own for the past 3, who I self-trained. I have taken care of all dogs from Miniature Schnauzers to Saint Bernards. I love all dogs and know how important they are to you, and I’m happy to assist in making sure they are well taken care of! I currently work 8-4, with only two 20 minute breaks in my day. Outside of that, I am very flexible. I am an early riser as well and am usually up at 5am. Outside of my working hours, I am usually available for check-ins/feeding/walks, etc. I live in a studio apartment with a crate trained dog. There isn’t much additional room for a crate or to host another dog here. In a client’s home - you are the boss! Whatever your rules are for how you like your dog to be cared for, let me know and they shall be followed.

“Many thanks to Derek! We’d recommend Derek for your pet service needs. He was thorough, consistent, and sent pictures! We look forward to the opportunity to work with Derek again in the future!”

About: I have been a dog lover my whole life and an owner for 10 years. I absolutely adored our family dog and loved playing with him and taking him on long walks. My current work schedule, as a nurse working long shifts, does not allow me to provide the best possible home for my own dog but I would love to spend my free time taking care of yours! I enjoy living an active lifestyle, including long walks with my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs, spending time outdoors, and reading. On my days off I have a very flexible schedule and am willing to visit when it works best for your pets. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about my experience with pet care! I am available weekends and Wednesdays to care for your loved ones! I am also available some evenings after 6:00pm. If you have any questions about my availability please reach out! I will care for your pet in the best way for them. Please feel free to tell me their likes or dislikes. I prefer to take them on walks, but whatever your pet needs are I am willing to help!

About: I have two cats now and grew up with dogs, so I am well versed in taking care of different animals. I love dogs and cats and will be very patient and attentive! I can adjust my lunch schedule during work to be able to check on them during the day on top of going before or after my shift. Weekend are completely free to check or walk as needed. With having two cats in an apartment, I try to make sure they have clean litter and food bowls as well as plenty of toys and areas to be able to play.

“Tyler was amazing with our 3-month-old puppy and he had so much fun playing with Tyler. Tyler was on time, made sure he had gone potty, and played with him during every visit. We will 100% use Tyler again.”

“I'm thrilled to have found Emma on Rover as my new go-to pet sitter for Popcorn (my cat). Popcorn warmed up to Emma immediately, and Emma was communicative and a real cat pro. I loved the photos she sent while we were on vacation.”

About: I grew up with dogs and small animals, and I’ve cared for pets at every stage of life, including comforting a big dog scared of storms and giving medications to cranky senior animals. I have two cats and a 9-yr-old chinchilla with big personalities. I know pets are our family members, and I look forward to caring for yours! Available for drop-ins and walks in the evenings and weekends. I live in River Market and work in midtown, so I can be available for some morning or lunchtime needs in those areas. I can house-sit nearby, too. Im very respectful and love detailed instructions. I’ve owned feisty, picky pets, so I’m happy to do whatever your animals need! I know it can be stressful having someone else come into your home and care for your pets, so I’ll take every measure to make sure you and your animals are comfortable
