About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and I’ve been pet-sitting since I was 12. I have plenty of experience so your pet will be very well taken care of I work on Ward Parkway at Burns & McDonnell. I have every other Friday off as well as the weekends. I usually work 6:30-4:30 and work from home 1 day a week. Anything after work or any time during the days where I work from home or don’t work fit into my schedule perfectly! I always try to play with them when they want to if I’m not too busy and like to walk/play with them before leaving them alone so they’re tired and don’t have too much energy when they’re home alone

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. I always make sure to double check any needs/wants with the owner, to make sure pets are at their most comfortable. Let me know how your pet thrives in their environment, the more details the better!
