“Meli took such great care of my fur baby! From the moment I was in touch with Meli, I felt safe and excited about the opportunity to have Ollie spend the day with her and her pup Nina. She was warm and assuring, and very quick to respond to messages! When I met Meli in person to drop Ollie off, I was happy to find such a friendly and kind person in real life, too! She sent me photos and updates throughout the 6 hours that Ollie was with her for “day care” (without me even needing to ask!) and I could tell he was having fun and being taken care of so well! I would absolutely recommend Meli and would love to have Ollie stay with her again if we need a sitter in Bloomington. Thanks Meli! ?”

About: I grew up taking care of dogs since high school! Friends have always called me the dog whisperer. Extremely patient with dogs and worked at a dog salon as a dog bather for 4 years. I do currently have a dog of my own, Bob. He is still working on his socialization skills (very high energy/playful), so we’d love that your pup is able to be patient with him as we are teaching him calm behaviors! I’m currently working hybrid and am home for 4/5 days and will closely monitor your dogs. My partner, Dylan, works at home for all days of the week. We both work together to make sure my puppy and yours are interacting well with each other and are having a good time! I have an unfenced yard, but will always take your dog out leashed. Your dog will be a part of our family during the stay and is allowed on all furniture. My dog sleeps in his crate at night, so to be fair - I will need to have your dog sleep on the floor by our bed at night!

Knowing we needed a sitter before even bringing our puppy home, I turned to Rover and found Dawn—and I’m so glad I did. She went above and beyond from the start, even coming over with her kids to meet Lucy beforehand. She’s truly salt of the earth, and I immediately felt at ease the moment I met her. As first-time dog parents, we had plenty of questions and requests, and Dawn was so accommodating, evening keeping us updated with the sweetest photos. I loved that on our first daycare service Lucy got to socialize with her kids and even play with another dog while she was there. On top of that, my husband has a difficult work schedule, and Dawn was incredibly flexible, which made everything so much easier. Watching a hyper puppy is no small task, but Dawn handled it with such care and patience. We are so grateful to have Dawn and her family in out circle!”

About: I have always had a love and passion for animals. I have grown up with dogs, cats, chickens, even a pet turtle. Each animal brought me so much happiness and I considered my pets as family members. Growing up, I have cared for friends, neighbors, and family members pets. Animals made me who I am today! I have an open schedule as I am currently in between jobs. While on my job search, I want to spend my time around pets giving them love and care. I know the value of being a trustworthy, attentive, and reliable sitter. I have a clean spacious home, a yard, and I currently don’t own any pets of my own. Your pet will be treated like family here receiving lots of affection so they feel at home while you’re away.

“Lauren took great care of my baby Scotch when I was visiting Worcester. She kept him for doggy daycare and when I picked him up he was in such a good mood. Usually he gets really sad when I leave him but Lauren ensured he was happy. He went out for great walks and got some good playtime in. About: Hi, I’m Ally! I have an adorable dog-nephew who I have love and cared for like my own for a few years now. We love going on long walks, trips to the dog park, and relaxing around the house together. Aside from growing up with him, I have experience dog-sitting when my brother goes out of town. I frequently stay overnight at his house to ensure that Cuddles is well-fed and entertained. If given the opportunity, I will treat your fur-baby with the same unconditional love as my own! I have no doubt that we will have the best time walking, playing fetch, or just laying around together. You won’t have to worry about your pup while we’re out together, he or she will be in the best hands possible! **There will be an additional fee added for senior dogs. I currently work at a school so I am available for morning and overnight and/or drop in feedings/walks/potty times. Depending on the area, I may be able to drip in mid-day as well. I will follow all rules provided by pet owner to ensure the safety of both your pet, myself, and your home. I would like to meet the animals before accepting a job, just to build some familiarity between all of us.

About: I’ve been around animals since the beginning of my life. I grew up with cats & dogs, small & large. I started learning about dog training in 2020, I trained my first service dog in 2022. I’m always working to learn more & continuously improve my knowledge. Body language is a huge factor when it comes to taking care of dogs & making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. I’m great with puppies as well & can help out with basic training. Any questions please feel free to ask! I work from home, so I start my day by taking my dog out to our apartment property’s dog park to use the bathroom, & get play time in, then I bring him in to feed him breakfast. If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

About: I've taken care of many dogs for friends and family. I enjoy large dogs, training young pets, and playing outside. Looking forward to hearing from you. I'm currently full time remote from home, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet! Many times when it is nice, I will sit outside in the backyard and work while the dogs play and explore. I have a new 6 foot fenced in yard with a spacious backyard to run around in. My two dogs are friendly and ready make new friends.
