About: I grew up taking care of dogs since high school! Friends have always called me the dog whisperer. Extremely patient with dogs and worked at a dog salon as a dog bather for 4 years. I do currently have a dog of my own, Bob, a Brussels Griffon. My partner, Dylan, and I work at home 4/5 days. We stagger our days so that someone is always home with the dogs and are never left at home alone. We both work together to make sure my dog and yours are interacting well with each other and are having a good time! We are happy to accommodate any dogs that need extra TLC during the work week from 8/8:30AM to 5:30PM. We are unable to do pick ups later than 5:30PM at this time. Your dog will be able to join us on our morning and midday walk! We only take one dog at a time to provide the highest quality care. I have an unfenced yard, but will always take your dog out leashed. Your dog will be a part of our family during the stay and is allowed on all furniture.

If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have over 9 years of hands-on animal care experience. Growing up around animals has made caring for them second nature to me, and I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I also have my own 109 lb Rottweiler, so I’m very confident handling large, strong breeds and understand the importance of structure, safety, and control on walks. “I have booked Julia for countless walks because she takes excellent care of my puppy, ZuZu! She has always gone the extra mile to communicate with me and give ZuZu all the exercise and attention she needs. Zuzu is a very energetic dog and can be challenging to walk at times, but Julia has always been on top of doing what works best for her to get her energy out! She always sends plenty of pictures and makes sure ZuZu has what she needs before she leaves. She is awesome with having a flexible schedule and responding super quick to my last minute requests and schedule changes. I will absolutely keep using her to care for my girl!”
About: I have had animals in my life all my life. I am comfortable working with dogs, cats, and small animals. I have also worked with animals that have special needs, specifically related to senior care. I am capable of giving meds and shots to animals. I currently work part-time for myself so I'm able to schedule around your animal's needs. I am able to walk animals up to three times today. The most important thing for an animal is to feel safe while it's owners are away. I am here to follow any routines that your pet already has to maintain a sense of security and calm.

About: I am home full time, have 2 girls 7 and 12 who love dogs as well, I grew up with golden retrievers my whole life, I used to take care of my neighbors dog bc she would work until 11pm at night so her dog would come to my house and we would brush her and feed her, make her feel not so lonely. I am recovering from cancer so I am looking after dogs would just increase my mood so much as well as get me out and walking. Your dog would never be lonely in my house! We are definitely dog lovers!! My children are not timid or afraid of dogs, we live in a quiet neighborhood perfect for walking, running and playing!
“We originally asked Caroline if she could walk and feed our two dogs as we were planning to a long day trip. However, we woke up to find our oldest dog not doing very well. It turned out that he had cancer and that we would have to put him down. It was a long agonizing day trying of running tests and considering options before finally deciding that the most humane treatment would be to euthanize. Through all this, we are thankful to Caroline who took care of our remaining fur children--a dog and a cat. It was a great relief to not have to think or worry about them so we could focus on our oldest dog in his time of need.”

He was able to accommodate our two dogs very last minute (since our return flights were cancelled and we needed a new sitter) and then again he was very flexible to continue looking after our dogs when our flights were rescheduled multiple days later by the airlines. We appreciated the great communication and our boys were tired when we picked them up which is not an easy feat for our Australian Cattle Dog puppy! he definitely gave them lots of exercise and attention. “Elaine was amazing! Our poor dog, Maddie, cannot do a kennel stay- she's too anxious for that. We left her with Elaine for about a week and received multiple updates every day!
