About: Dog sitting since 2010, I love dogs and am not put off by size or jumping. After a few quick sniffs we are likely to be good friends. I work but I make sure I leave time between my multiple jobs to check on the dog. I have references if needed. It can be hard to give a key to a stranger and to trust someone in your home. I can grab mail, water plants, ***and care for smaller animals and additional pets that aren't the traditional cat and dog.*** I work part time, so I do not work more than 7 straight hours. My other jobs are often virtual/online or other dogs so it gives me flexibility. I have a cat and can only watch pets at your residence, because I have roommates. I love to snuggle pets (if they feel comfortable with me) and am conscientious in dietary needs and will read whatever instructions and specifics you give. I dont mind giving medicine. I will admit that I can be hard for me to do dinner times if it's on a strict schedule. I can get up as early as needed for breakfast time, but sometimes life gets in the way naturally. I am also a night owl and rely on that to earn extra income, So I do a lot of events. I'm an actor, game designer, as well as an educator and freelance writer. I like to follow instructions whether given in the form of an email or on a piece of paper. Vet numbers and any information that helps me best Make your pet healthy and happy is helpful. A lot of people worry when they give me a packet and I'm an avid reader so don't worry if you have more than three pages. About: I enjoy caring for animals and have experience with cats of all ages, kitten to senior. I've had cats my whole life and have experience with bottle feeding, medication administration and diabetic care. I also have experience with dog sitting and walking. About: I have been a dog owner for the last 11 years. I also volunteer at a local dog shelter, which I have been a part of for the last 4 years. I will help w/ dogs of any size or breed and cats. I have also put my personal dogs through training, which can be beneficial when helping with someone else’s dog. I invested in a course called Shelter Playgroup Alliance to help me learn and improve my skills in reading dog behavior and body language. I currently work FT, but am available early mornings, nights and weekends to walk dogs or do drop in visits. My schedule on the weekends is very flexible. Your dog will get play time, a good walk and lots of love. I can also bathe them if needed. I have learned a lot about enrichment, which is great for mental exercise.
About: Ive taken care of my families dogs for the last 15 years and always made sure they were well cared for. Friends also entrusted me with the care of their animals knowing that I am no stranger to difficult animals and messy situations. I have also been a volunteer at local animal shelters and know how to handle larger and more difficult to walk animals. I have a senior dog now so I also understand the care that goes into helping animals who are struggling I have a dog in my home who has a torn ACL. He has difficulty with stairs and walks so I ice his leg daily and carry him up the stairs. I make sure also to feed him his medication and ensure he is always comfortable given his aches and pains. While I cannot do boarding, within other homes, I will walk and play with animals constantly. I love interacting with pets and find joy in spending time doing what animals love, whether it be snuggled up on the floor, playing tug of war or going on long walks. About: Dogs are my people! Ever since I was a young child, my family has had dogs, so I have experience caring for pups of all ages, from puppies just old enough to be adopted to senior pups who lived beautiful, long lives. I currently have a flexible schedule, as I am self-employed and mostly work from home, so I can arrange my work tasks around your pup’s schedule! (Regardless, in my household, the schedules have always revolved around the dogs’ needs and wants. 😂) Your pet’s safety is my top priority! First, I always make sure I clearly understand your rules for your pup and any special needs they may have. I have experience administering nutritional supplements as well as medications in pill form or topical form. I understand how important our pets are to us and our families, so I promise to maintain a safe environment and protect them in the event of any unexpected emergency. Communication is key in any successful relationship, and I expect that we will have a communication plan before any services begin so you can stay informed with any details you wish.

I walk my dog every morning at 8:30 AM and sometimes in the evening after 9 if I am unable to get the morning walk in. Otherwise I am flexible with my time depending upon the situation. I use my dog’s harness on walks with a 5 foot leash that I keep shortened by wrapping it around my hand. This allows me to extend and retract the leash to the desired length for any given situation. In the case of dog sitting I usually take the dog on a walk for as long as they’ll go and after they get tired, I would sit with the dog until it is either time for them to be fed or go out. I do my best to provide whatever the dog may need or what you require for them.
