About: I’ve been taking care of pets and owning dogs (& cats) since I was 15 . I also took dog training classes in Germany . Over the past years I’ve watched friends and coworkers puppies , family and friends cats and did take in some dogs from military friends for vacation ! About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I currently have my own dog, who I adopted as a puppy while I was in college and is now 4 years old. Raising her has given me experience with training, building routines, and understanding different stages of a dog’s development. I’m comfortable administering medication, brushing and bathing, handling anxious behaviors, and keeping pets on their regular care schedules. I also have experience walking dogs that pull and can confidently handle strong or high-energy pups while keeping walks safe and structured. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and maintain your pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I’m also willing to travel or make special trips if your dog attends daycare, has a preferred park, or enjoys a specific walking route. “I needed a last minute boarding for my dog on Memorial Day Weekend. I had never used Rover previously but a friend recommended it. At first, I was a little nervous leaving my dog with strangers but didn’t have many other options. I brought my dog to Matthew and Christie’s house to meet them and their dog a day or two prior and was immediately relieved. They have a very pet friendly set up, fenced in yard, and our dogs immediately became friends. While I was out of town, they sent me updates and pictures, responded to all my messages immediately, and made me comfortable knowing my dog was in excellent hands. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a doggy sitter!”
“I have no words to express my gratitude towards Daylin, she took such good care of Enoch. When leaving Enoch I was afraid it would be a problem because she has a dog at home & my dog is not friendly wiyh other dogs but to my surprise they became great friends. I picked him up he jumped at me of joy but I noticed he also jumped at her which I took as a sign of love from him towards her as well.
