About: Having taken care of a precious Springer Spaniel for 14 years (Cocoa), I'll do my best to take care of your dog as if he or she were my own. I'm usually quite responsive when it comes to bookings and arrangements, responding within 15-20 minutes. I'll take them out to play and walk and feed them at least three times a day. I'll also bathe them, if need be. Most importantly, I will be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure that your dog will have fun while with me. I currently have open availability in my schedule, so I could most definitely sit your dog full-time if necessary. Above all else, I just love working with dogs as they are my favorite animal.

“Steve met my reactive Malinois X Shepard this weekend for a meet and greet. Knowing my dog Echo has stranger danger I informed Steve up front of this fact, and he asked questions and gave suggestions prior to our first meeting. We met while I was out walking Echo, and then starting talking to Steve with Echo by my side. Eventually Echo wanted to walk up to Steve and sniff, which was great since my dog has about 8 humans in her circle of friends. I had brought Echo’s favorite treats with me, and handed off to Steve. To make a long story short my reactive dog was in the end eating out of his hand, letting him pet her while he was sitting on the ground at her level, and walking with him handling the leash . All in one session. Steve really showed his knowledge of dog body language, and he was able to comfortably handle my whacky dog in one session. I’ll be booking Steve again as we attempt to get him on property and in the home of my “guard “dog with everyone safe and happy. Thank you so much Steve!”

“Lucy was fantastic with my 3 dogs! I had her do a 30 min check-in mid day while I was at work, and she kept in touch with me while at the house, played with my kiddos and sent me pictures. The dogs loooove her! I will definitely book more time with Lucy for my dogs!”

“Jade is great with our pup who is not generally fond of strangers. She took great care of both her and our cat while I was at work - I had nothing to worry about and know they got lots of love. Thank you, Jade!”

“Maura has been my sitter of choice for over a year. This trip she was not available for the whole time. She willing worked with my other sitter to coordinate a doggie hand off. Everything went smoothly. Thanks Maura! ”

About: I have been living in Virginia for about 10 years now, I am originally from California. I Like to spend my spare time outside enjoying the warm sunny weather. I currently have two Italian greyhounds ❤️. I do have experience living with cats and dogs. I decided to help people that have a cat or dog, and just need a little bit of help taking care of their fur babies. I adore cats, my childhood cat lived 15 years and she received nothing but love and warm milk. I also enjoy Running on the trail on George Washington parkway. I am a stay at home dog owner so my schedule is OPEN! My hours during the week don’t fluctuate much if you would like to know more on that let me know! I feed my dogs at 9am, 1pm and 5pm. Outside of that I’m flexible since I am home majority of the day. Let me know if this is helpful. I treat my pets as if they were my children. I make sure they have treats walks and pee breaks throughout the day outside of their feeding times.

“Jessica took fantasric care of my three semi feral cats while I was out of town! Plenty of texts and pics while I was away, which I really appreciated. Will definitely use her again!!”

About: As a teen, I pet sat for oodles of neighborhood dogs, rescue doggie mamas with pups, neighbors' cats, horses, burros, and chickens. Now, as a petless family, we'd love to bring a little dog love into our life without the longterm commitment. We are an introverted family (Emily, Patrick and 10-year-old Gideon). We love quietly cuddling pups and taking family walks. We prefer to provide boarding to hypoallergenic dogs, but can love walks and in-home care for any type of pup. We can provide weekend care, either boarding or petsitting for local dog families. We are a full-time working/school family. On available weekends, we like to take walks, play board games, throw a ball or frisbee in the yard, and read. We've got lots of grass and can walk to Lake Accotink Park from our house. We've got lots of grass and can walk to Lake Accotink Park from our house. When we petsit, we are careful to use a leash every time we go outside. We are very mindful of the pet's house rules and try to be as consistent with the owner's wishes as possible. There will be lots of snuggles and a love from the 10 year old (Gideon), with plenty of oversight and care from the adults in the house.

About: I’ve worked at a doggie day care for 3 years. This included walking, bathing, playing and watching. I have 3 family dogs that I help take care of with one of them going to college with me. I know how to engage with dogs and keep them happy. I am working part time so I’ll have plenty of time! I can walk dogs anytime in the morning before 11:30 am! I make it a priority to stick with this schedule. I make sure I am watching your dog at all time. I have worked with all types of dogs and know how to work with almost all! I make sure I introduce myself!

Brianna K.
“Some will likely think I'm biased because Brianna is my daughter. However, I write this with as much objectivity as I can. I watched as my daughter took care of a little Yorkie for one week. Prior to taking the assignment, she took our dog over to meet the Yorkie to ensure they would get along. Once she started dog sitting duties, she ensured that each dog got individualized attention and walks. She allowed them to play together but also to be separate. She dutifully walked the Yorkie as needed and ensured that each dog only ate their own food (they were both fascinated by each other's food). I was very proud to see her show this level of responsibility and the review she received by the Yorkie's owner only supports my review. She has ALWAYS been a dog lover and shows love to all dogs she meets. ”

Julianna S.

“Absolutely great experience having Julianna care for my dog Misty. She did more that she was asked to do and I will continue utilizing her services.”

Allie B.

“Allie was so great with both of my dogs and always sent very detailed notes on their time together. I will definitely reach out to Allie again when I needy girls checked in on!”

Emily & Patrick G.
“Gideon loves dogs almost more than anything else. He fell in love with our deceased dog Mabel when they were quite young and grew up together. Now that she is gone, he wants to give his dog-love to other dogs. He is respectful of all dogs, but ready to feed, walk and play with your dog --and give cuddles, if your dog likes that. Gideon is very responsible, but his caring parents will be nearby to monitor the care he gives, as well as to keep a watchful eye on your dog's health. He would do a great job with your dog!”
