The thing about Journey that I am most appreciative of is that she has Fear Free certification. She showed in all her communication with me that she understood Guinness’s needs through his body language and was respectful of his boundaries (however long they lasted, apparently he got pretty cuddly!). I will definitely be bringing Guinness back for boarding, daycare, and probably grooming too. I can’t express how grateful I am to imagine being able to board Guinness and therefore travel again! “This was my first time leaving my pup with someone new, so naturally I was a little nervous—but they totally put my mind at ease! They were super attentive with my little spoiled brat (and I say that with love 😄). He was always wagging his butt and happy to go back, which says it all. I really appreciated how they noticed he was picky with food—he wouldn’t eat there, but they still checked in and made sure I knew. He had plenty of playtime and always came home happy and tired, which is a win in my book! I didn’t want him going on walks because of his reactivity to cars, and they totally respected that—he got plenty of backyard play instead. Bonus points for being flexible with my chaotic work schedule. Highly recommend! 🐾”

About: I have grown up with animals, long before I can remember, and love being able to provide attention for my friend’s pets when out of town! I treat all animals as if they are my own with lots of love, activity, and treats! I am currently working part time as a nurse and have plenty of time to play with your furry friends on my off days! I live near trails and love going on walks, hikes, and getting outdoors! My schedule is very flexible and can accommodate last minute needs! I am new to Rover! But while I live in a dog friendly apartment and do not have my own fenced backyard, I live near plenty of walking trails and love to get outside myself. I have a sweet fur baby at home to keep yours company and will be present at all times to ensure they are safe and comfortable. I live in a two bedroom apartment and can separate my dog if needed.

About: I have a yellow lab and a scottish fold cat that I love taking care of! I am obsessed with animals and have always taken my lab on hikes, walks, and taught him tricks for fun! I am a very active person and I try and spend all of my free time outside. I am home from college for the summer and I’m only taking a few summer classes online so I have tons of time to make new fuzzy friends. I have a fenced in yard, a crate, lots of leashes and dog toys and treats. I have a car and can drive to anyone’s home and to the dog and park!

I have two dogs at home, a two year old poodle/yorkshire terrier who loves to play and a 14 year old Chihuahua who does not. :-) I am a homebody who loves the home and would love to see dogs out in my big fenced back yard playing with each other.
