“This was our first time using a cat-sitting service, and we were nervous about how our cat would behave, especially given his personality. Kiari not only reassured us so we could enjoy a relaxing vacation with peace of mind, but she also took excellent care of our cat and catered to his needs. She was always in touch, quick to respond, and sent us lots of pictures of our cat. Our cat adored her from day one! I can’t recommend Kiari enough—she was amazing in every way.”

About: I’ve worked in the professional animal care industry for 3 years and have owned pets for 12. I’ve worked in training, grooming, pet care, and veterinary care for cats and dogs. I work part time and have many days available for pet sitting, walking, and spending quality time with them! I can even do extra visits as I have lots of free time. I’m a runner and spend many hours outside and can do so with your pet! I always keep pets leashed when outside and never treat them to table scraps. Owners instructions are top priority and will be done and followed above all.

“Haley is a favorite for our cats. While one of our cats usually hides and has a tough time while we’re away, she loves coming out to see Haley for attention. Haley is wonderful!”

About: I have worked with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and much more. I have cared for cats and dogs for years, and I am a former Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) currently in the process of renewing my designation. I will be working full time starting Aug 11th. Up until then, I have A LOT of availability. After Aug 11th, I will have Sundays and Mondays off for house sitting. Other days may be considered for pet sitting after 4 pm and into the evening. I am comfortable giving dogs/cats medications. My dog Foxy has anxiety, so she receives oral medication and a prescription diet (for her sensitive stomach), and I also have experience administering medications to dogs/cats in the vet clinic.

About: Hi there! I’m a second-year veterinary student who loves animals. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal clinic for the past two years, gaining hands-on experience with dogs and cats. I would love the chance to hang out with your furry friend! I am both BLS CPR and Fear Free certified and have experience administering oral, IM and IV medication to dogs and cats. I currently have a very flexible schedule- during the weekdays, I am available before 10 am, during lunch (12-1), and after 330 pm every day. I am committed to creating a calm, safe environment for your pet. My family currently has a 3-year-old doodle and an almost 14-year-old Keeshond, so I’m familiar with both high-energy pups and senior pets.

“Abbi did a great job stepping in last minute to look after my kitty, Cho. She spent time getting to know Cho during her visits and sent me cute photos of them playing. I recommend Abbi as a very responsible kitty sitter!”

About: Had a golden retriever in my childhood! Currently own cat parent and did some volunteering in a no kill dog shelter for a year. Mostly involved walking and basic training with dogs of all sizes and energy! I have a very busy work schedule but otherwise would love to be involved in pet care anytime I’m off! Both for cats or dogs I’m happy to walk or housesit even with limited notice! Get an understanding first of the dog or cat’s baseline routine. A stranger in the house is stressful and maintaining a familiar schedule is important. From there, matching energy and cuddliness. Some dogs or cats want more attention than others and responding appropriately to body language and behavior is central! After that, regular potty breaks and walks for dogs (and cats if they go outside) and enough exercise to dispel any excess energy is important.
