“Yue did such a great job of taking care of Lili while she was sick! Lili got diagnosed with a herniated disc during my finals week, and I needed someone to give her medication and make sure she stayed resting while I was at school. She gave Lili her meds as instructed, fed her breakfast, and sent pictures of her short stay while I was gone. I could tell Yue truly cared about Lili and her well-being, and I appreciate her putting in the extra effort to make Lili comfortable during her stay!”

“Lea was truly THE BEST! I had an unexpected scheduling conflict while traveling and she made herself available at the very last minute to accommodate me and my pup. She sent tons of photos and was an awesome and reliable communicator. I hope I don’t have to bother her with any last minute requests again but I’ll definitely entrust her with my doggo anytime!!!”

“Cali has such a great time with Jim. I can tell she really likes hanging out with him and he gives me updates in their outings. She is very happy with your routine visits. Thank you Jim!”

“Kristina was so sweet, loving, and caring towards my little puppy! Her yard is so cute and spacious, perfect for dogs. Very communicative and reliable which is hard to find with Rover so I am so grateful for Kristina’s help! Thanks so much!”

About: I currently only take one dog (or dog family) per night! This makes for a relaxed environment that we all enjoy. I have always loved animals, and I have had a variety of pets over the years from dogs to cats and more. I fell in love with being the best "dog auntie" ever, and that's how I got started as a dog sitter. I have no dogs or cats at the moment, as I work my way towards a small backyard farm. Dogs love my yard!!! Come for a meet and greet! I love to spend time in our yard with the garden, and of course our visiting dogs. I work from home as a parent and family coach, and I'm working towards my certification in Collaborative and Proactive Solutions. My kids also homeschool, so we are all here a lot. My kids love animals as much as I do (although somehow I still do all the work LOL), and we love to welcome your critters into our home. We like to welcome our doggy guests like a member of the family for their stay with us. I board / pet sit in my home. I have a 6-ft fence around my backyard. There is one section that measures closer to 5 ft. I always do a meet and greet before having a dog stay. Dogs must be up to date in vaccines. I have a variety of dog toys and dog beds and water bowls and feeding bowls. I can rearrange things depending on who is staying with us. I only host one dog (or dog family) per night. **I CAN accomodate more than one dog from the same family!! Message me if this applies.**

“Ashwini is amazing. My pup and I are new to the area and I’ve never left him with a “stranger” but Ashwini put me completely at ease and helped me and my little guy feel comfortable. Ashwini is super flexible and easy to work with. I highly recommend her and will be using her over and over again, hopefully!”

About: I am a life-long dog lover and have taken care of my own pups as well as friends and family's dogs my whole life. I know what it is like to have to leave your dog while you are away and there is nothing better than knowing your best bud is well taken care of, SAFE, happy and loved. Your dog will love my backyard, multiple walks a day, plenty of toys/bones/balls and of course LOTS of cuddles! I will be with your pup all the time :) I work part-time and from home. Dogs in my care have a relaxing environment with ample space to choose from when they want to nap or play. I take my own dog to several dog parks around San Diego daily and will include your dog in the adventure if you are comfortable with that. We go to Fiesta Island daily with your permission! I have 1/3 of an acre of fully fenced in back yard space with trees, trails, canyon space, digging garden, turf and shaded outdoor room as well. Its a puppy paradise! My own dog loves to explore the canyon trail, lay around in the sun, hunt for lizards and then take a nap on the lawn chair - its a tough life! They have access to indoor and outdoor spaces, all of which are safe and comfy for the dogs.. When inside, there are lots of relaxing, calm places to nap (beds, rugs, quiet rooms, etc.) I love to play ball with them outside, or take a walk with them to explore the canyon space and yard.

“Thanks to Stephen for taking care of our dogs while we moved into our new abode. You took care of our dogs like your own and made them feel very comfortable. And thank you for the new bowl for Wolf. Hope we can work again together.”

About: Growing up with dogs, I started caring for other people’s pets at a very young age, and it’s been a passion of mine ever since. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, lizards, fish, and more! I’ve also shared my home with dogs, cats, a ferret, a turtle, fish, and even a chinchilla, so I understand the unique needs of each furry (or scaly!) friend. For decades, I’ve been trusted to care for pets while their families are away, whether it’s walking, checking in, or staying overnight. I know how important it is to find someone reliable and loving to look after your pets, and I’m here to provide the same care and attention I’d want for my own. Let’s chat about how I can make your pet’s day a little brighter! I am a freelance designer and fine artist (specializing in pet portraits) which makes my schedule very flexible to care for your furry loved ones when needed. I understand how important it is to create a safe, calm, and loving environment for your pet. Whether it’s following your specific care instructions, maintaining a clean space, or providing plenty of playtime and affection, your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I take every precaution to ensure they feel secure and happy in my care, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Like shy seniors who need a gentle touch and high energy pups who love a long walk and playtime. I take special notice of each dog’s unique routines and needs, whether that’s slow-paced walks, medication at a certain time, or extra belly rubs before bed. I'm very calm, patient, and observant and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their quirks. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own, keeping you updated with photos and notes along the way! I’m also super reliable, respectful of your space, and flexible with last-minute changes. I'm working part time, so I have time during the day to care for your dog! I'm usually around the Clairemont area and should be able to respond to requests soon. I have a fenced in yard and one doggie, Frankie, who is a 4 year old toy poodle with a loving and shy personality. She's fixed and up to date on all of her shots!

About: When I was young (maybe 10) I had my own dog walking business where i helped walk my neighbors dog everyday. We also have 2 family dogs in which I take care of them every day, washing, feeding, walking, caring and loving them! I’m currently taking college classes all of which are online with no meeting times. This means i’m available just about anytime to walk and care for your pet! I have a fenced yard with 2 friendly dogs. I also have a fenced off side area and a space in the house for the dogs if they need to be separated (though I doubt that would be needed because my dogs love to play!). My home is very dog friendly

“Lucas is wonderful! My pup has come back happy and exhausted every stay. I wanted an experienced sitter that also has dogs of their own and/or has others under their care so his set up has been perfect for us. It's obvious that he has the knowledge, patience, and kindness to care for dogs. I'm a repeat customer for sure!”

“Leah is a true professional when it comes to dogs, and I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. While staying with her, my dog seemed stress-free, able to play freely and relax comfortably. She also sent me photos regularly, which was very reassuring. I found her to be someone I could truly trust.”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs in my San Diego community for the past 10+ years, and every experience has deepened my appreciation for the unconditional love our pets bring into our lives. It’s truly the greatest lesson they teach us! Whether it’s a playful walk, a calming hike, or simply spending quality time together, I give every pet I care for the same love and attention I’d give my own. I’m passionate about creating a safe, happy, and engaging environment for your furry friends. Feel free to reach out with any questions, I’d love to discuss how I can support you and your pets! I recently started my own business as a Brand Designer, working from home allows me to have flexibility, and taking a break from the computer to walk a dog always make my day better! I get to know the pet, and build trust and connection through play, treats, walks, cuddles and spending quality time together. I love getting to know the owners and witness the beautiful connection you build together ❤️

About: I’ve had dogs nearly my whole life and can’t imagine a world without them! I’ve watched and walked my own dogs, as well as several friends and family members dogs and would love to meet your pet! I also have chickens and would be happy to help with any backyard chickens! I am taking some time off from my full time job to spend more time with my family, so I’m very flexible! My kids are all in school, so my days are free for walks, and I’m home to give plenty of snuggles! I have a fully fenced yard and typically let my dogs roam between the house and yard, but happy to follow any directions that you prefer for your pup. I have one 8 year old male and one 11 year old female mini schnauzer, (both spayed/neutered) and I have chickens as well, but they are behind a fence so dogs can say hi but not touch them.

I ensure that each pet feels comfortable and at ease, with ample opportunities for exercise and social interaction. In a client’s home, I respect and follow their established routines to keep the pet’s day as familiar as possible. I work closely with pet owners to understand any special instructions, dietary needs, or behaviors so that I can maintain consistency and provide a secure, loving environment. My goal is always to make each pet feel like a valued member of the family, whether they’re in my home or theirs.

“Responsible petsitter. My dog is a little high-maintenance because he is fast and spazzy, and if he got out he might not have the sense to return. Alegra was very conscientious about making sure her back yard was fully secure and making sure the dog didn't get out the front. She is a caring person and a good choice for your pooch!”

“Christina is a fantastic care giver for pets. I can’t think of anyone I trust more. She is so kind and has helped care for my dog on numerous occasions. When I deployed with the military, Christina happily took care of my dog for months and I was supremely grateful to have her help as I knew he would be loved while I was gone. I have total confidence in her love of pets and would highly recommend her for anyone in need of help with their animals!”

“Our dog LOVES Shauna. We joke that Shauna is his favorite person but I don’t think it’s a joke because he gets so excited when she comes around. Shauna is so good with animals. We trust her to watch Kip or our two cats when we go on vacation. Shauna is always on time and very responsive with communication. If you want someone who will give your pet the attention they deserve - Shauna is your person. I can’t recommend her enough.”

Sophie Z.

“I can’t recommend Sophie enough if you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy to care for your pets! She has a natural connection with animals and treats every pet like their own. Whether it’s a long walk to burn off energy or a quiet evening visit for cuddles and feeding, Sophie always goes the extra mile. My dog absolutely lights up when Sophie comes to the door—tail wagging, happy dance, the whole thing! It's clear they build genuine bonds with the animals they care for. I also appreciate the detailed updates, photos, and communication. It gives me total peace of mind knowing my pet is in such good hands. If you want someone dependable who will love your pets as much as you do, book Sophie. You—and your furry family—won’t be disappointed!”

“Sabrina and her kiddos(too cute!) were great with Mowgli! The dogs got along great and he was a happy boy when we picked him up. Soon again for sure!”

Ravit S.
“Ravit is my favorite dog sitter. I have an extraordinarily energetic 6 year old American Pitbul named Isis. Isis is a sweet dog with a bold spirit and the faint hearted dog sitter can not handle her. Since moving to San Diego, it has been challenging to travel as finding the right sitter for Isis is hard. Ravit has been a god send. She is a natural dog whisperer, kind, intelligent and trustworthy. A plus plus rating!”
