“Rebecca’s excellent! She sent me great photos of my cats and spent some quality time with me elderly cat. I plan on booking her anytime I need pet sitting!”

About: Hi! I would love to watch your pup in my home while you are away! I grew up helping my mom with her pet sitting business and we’ve adopted animals of all different kinds and ages. I have a soft spot for senior animals 💕 I work from home and will be with your animal at all times. I do not book others while watching your dog and will focus on them! I have a sweet chocolate lab named Chloe who loves everyone! I can do whatever your pet needs. I give medication, can go on walks, will be there all of the day, and give lots of snuggles 🥰

“Nicole took great care of our older dog! She's very responsive and confirmed at each visit meds were done. We absolutely would recommend her and will be booking with her again!”

“Mary Anne is absolutely wonderful! She is very thoughtful and takes very good notes on how to care for your pet. She did a few drop-in visits with Karl, our Hermann's Tortoise, and was communicative and sweet. We'll definitely re-book her next time we're in need of a sitter.”

“Christine is incredible!!! My doggo is a little skittish about meeting new people, and Christine took the time to get to know her and bond with her :) she’s super accommodating and flexible and I look forward to having her doggie sit mollie again soon!!!”

About: Hi there, and thanks for checking out my profile! I’ve been on Rover for about a year and primarily take on housesitting roles or keep pets in my home, but I also have long term walking clients. I’m here because I genuinely love animals and have years of accumulated animal experience that really lends itself well to creating happy clients. I've had pets of all shapes and sizes since the 7th grade when I turned my dog into my science fair project (The Effect of Rewards on Dog Training). Since then, I've done obedience classes with one of my pups, worked with Australian Shepherd and Doberman rescue as a transporter and foster mom, and walked many miles with some cute pooches. I'm currently mom to one male cat, an Holland Lop, and one very typical male Golden Retriever. OH--and a seven year old human boy! I’m experienced in difficult animal behaviors such as separation anxiety and mild aggression towards other animals, potty training, medical emergencies (I am NOT clinically trained, but I’ve been through a lot of vet appointments between my pets and the rescues), and giving medication. I’m also a farmer and floral designer by trade, so I might covertly care for your houseplants as well. My work schedule is flexible, and I often work from home. I determine my own work schedule, so I can accommodate pet care most days and times. I’m very careful about not overcommitting myself, particularly when it comes to taking responsibility for other people’s pets. I offer in-home care for cat- and kid-friendly pups who get along well with other animals. Ollie the Golden Retriever will be sure to keep your dog well-entertained. He is 5 years old and still very "puppy," but ultimately, he’s a chill Golden to his core. The cat loves Ollie but are typically unimpressed by all other creatures. The rabbit rules the house.

About: I’ve been walking my neighbors’ dogs for years, and it’s become one of my favorite parts of the day. Over time, I’ve built strong relationships not just with the pets, but with their owners who trust me to treat their dogs with the same love and care they would. Whether it’s a quick walk, some extra playtime, or a little reassurance for a nervous pup, I always show up with patience, kindness, and a true love for animals. Being that reliable, compassionate person in the neighborhood has meant the world to me—and the tail wags speak for themselves! As a teacher, I have a consistent weekday schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care before and after school hours. I’m available every morning before 8:00 AM and again after 4:00 PM, perfect for early feedings, evening playtime, or drop-in visits. I’m also more flexible on weekends and during school breaks, so I can tailor my schedule to meet your pet’s routine and needs. You can count on me to be punctual, attentive, and always ready with a treat and a scratch behind the ears! While I don’t currently have any pets in my home, I’m more than happy to welcome yours into a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space. I understand how important it is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable, and I’m committed to creating a loving environment whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home. I’m known for being gentle, patient, and attentive to every pet’s unique personality and needs—whether that means quiet cuddle time, playful engagement, or simply giving them space to relax.

About: Hey! I grew up surrounded by 12 chihuahuas (yes, 12!), so I definitely know a thing or two about quirky little pups and what animals love. I’ve also got a cat of my own, plus I’ve owned a snake and a hamster, so I’m no stranger to all kinds of pets. I’ve taken plenty of wildlife classes too — animals have always been my passion. I’m looking for more ways to meet and care for furry (and scaly!) friends, whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or just good company. I’d love to help take care of your pets like they’re family! I have a steady daily routine that helps me stay organized and focused, so your pets will always get consistent care and attention. I’m great at managing my time to make sure I’m fully present during visits and walks. Flexibility is important to me, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I am a chef that works max 8 hours, so overnights are best for me. I used to own a lab who needed to be crated, so I know how important it is to give dogs plenty of time outside to stretch and explore. I always make sure to walk dogs for at least 20 minutes because I understand how much they need that fresh air and exercise. For cats, I’m careful to keep them well-fed and watered, and I even take them for walks if that’s something they enjoy! No matter the pet or their needs, I’m dedicated to giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve.

About: I’ve been around and taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. Over the span of my life I’ve had 4 dogs of all sizes and love taking them out for walks and spending quality time with them. If you are looking for someone who will take care of your pet and send you a million pictures of them while you’re away I’m your girl! I know how stressful it is to be away from your pet and I would love to provide peace of mind while you are away. I work from home full time Monday - Friday and can work from your home if your pet needs constant supervision or can stop by before or after work, or during lunch if needed. I usually have minimal plans on the weekend and can take your pet on adventures, or hang out with them at home depending on your preference. I will follow all instructions left for me and can be flexible depending on the care you and your pets require. If you’d like picture updates, or for me to take your dogs on long walks rather than just let them out, I can do whatever is asked of me.

About: I've cared for pets since childhood, looking after friends' animals and growing up with many of my own. I'm experienced, loving, and currently a cat mama! I also have experience administering medicines. As an entrepreneur working from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care for your pets when needed! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have reliable transportation for in-home care and love to observe what their unique personalities need and respond well to.

About: Hello! My name is Casey and I'd love to walk your dog! I am a middle school special education teacher at a virtual academy based out of the District of Columbia. That means I get to work from home AND do the job I love! I have 1 dog and 2 cats of my own and have years of experience as a pet sitter and parent. I am attentive, punctual, generous and (most importantly) LOVE dogs! In addition to a traditional walk, if time and space allow, I also have a beautiful dog park in my apartment complex where your dog can romp and play! At home, I allow dogs in the bed and on the sofa, because your babies are my babies! They will be treated as one of my own, fed the very best food if none is provided, given all of the best cuddles and treats, and have a friend to play with! I look forward to making your family a part of my family! I work remotely from 8-4, so I’m available for mid day walks, anxious pups, and everything in between. It also means I can stop by if you’re more comfortable with drop in care! I believe a tired dog is a happy dog! My own dog gets a minimum of two walks a day, has a crate for quiet time, multiple beds in the house, and a toy bin that rivals a toddlers. We believe dogs are family members and should be given the mental and physical stimulus needed to keep them happy and healthy!

“Kristina came to our house to meet our kitty boys and our dog Hank before she took care of them for us over the Thanksgiving break. She asked questions, got to know them, and observed their routines. She was prompt for all of her check-ins and also sent pictures and mapped her walks with Hank. We were so pleased and will use her again when we need pet sitting! We thought the experience was much easier and less expensive than boarding!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life, bathing, feeding, walking, loving and snuggling. I’ve had both kittens and puppies, and helped train them as well. I dog/cat sit pretty frequently and can provide references as well. I absolutely adore animals and would love to meet yours! I am currently freelancing with my job because of the slow season, so I have a very open schedule and would love to hang with your pets! In my clients home, I would absolutely love to throw their ball, take them on walks, maybe even to the beach or take them on walking trails!
