About: Hi, my name is Ama and I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I recently lost my own senior pup, and I truly miss the companionship and joy that dogs bring. I’d love to open my home to your furry friend and give them the love, care, and attention they deserve while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and a cozy spot to relax. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and everything in between, including administering medication. Let me know how I can make your pup’s stay as comfortable and happy as possible. I can’t wait to meet them! I currently work on a hybrid schedule, so I’m in the office 1 to 2 days per week Monday through Friday. It really depends on the week and what’s needed. I’m a great communicator so we can decide which days might work best! I live a very active lifestyle and before my dog passed away recently, I would take her on 3 to 4 walks per day. There’s a park near my home and we also used to play catch and lay out in the sun.

About: From doing grooming and farm chores at a horse rescue and watching neighborhood dogs to raising my own terrier, I’ve gained experience with a wide variety of different breeds, sizes, ages and species. Need someone to look after your dog or farmsit while you’re away? Got an exotic pet, goat, sheep, horse or dog you need a sitter for? No problem! I delight in caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Almost all species and breeds are welcome here. I can also come to your farm or stable for horses and livestock animals. Note that I cannot take cats due to cat allergies. I’m currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets! Dogs will be walked daily and will have free access to a large, fully fenced in yard. I can come to your house for any farm animals or exotics. I have a large fenced yard, plenty of pet toys and live in a suburban neighborhood filled with plenty of good parks to go for walks in. Any instructions you give as an owner will be respected and followed. Additionally, I am a private service for boarding! If you book me for your pets, then they will be guaranteed to be the only animals staying with me at the time. If I’m caring for horses or other farm animals, then I will come to your place rather than take them home. Horses will be groomed everyday as well as exercised according to your specifications.

When with a client's pet, I don't like to keep them unsupervised as I know their behavior can be affected with an owners absence and they can feel lonely. I ensure that quality time is always spent with a client's pet multiple times a day so they may feel at comfort and ease.

“My dog can be fear reactive when meeting new people but this was not the case at our meet and greet with Joann - Hazel was very comfortable with her, and even put her paws on Joann in a manner that suggested to me she really liked her. When I dropped her off for day care I watched as Hazel sidled over to her and stayed calmly at her side as I departed. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”

About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. I currently work full time, but I’m open for dog walks in the morning, afternoon, and on the weekends. If I’m around on the holidays, I’ll have my schedule open during the week. If we do decide to stop by my house during our walks, I have a fenced yard and lots of space for a quick game of fetch! For daycare and boarding, I will have eyes on your fur baby 24/7.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. 15 years ago my mom was diagnosed with dementia and I did not want my mom going into a nursing home. So I adopted little Rico and moved us all into a retirement community where they both stayed in our home until their last days. I had them both for 12 years and as you can see they were attached to each other. I lost them both three years ago and now I'm fostering, taking care of neighbors dogs in my community and joining the Rover family. I will take care of your fur babies with the same love and care as I took care of my mom and little Rico just as if they were my own. My schedule is very flexible and can easily be changed around to accommodate your needs. I try to facilitate my clients even in emergency situations. I have a Bark and Breakfast in my home that is secure and full of toys if your fur baby needs to be away from home for awhile.

About: I've had and taken care of dogs all my life. Recently after the loss of my Rams I have started dog sitting for family and friends. I heard about Rover through those friends. I am a recently retired federal employee who's daily and weekly schedule consist driving family members to various appointments. I am available Sunday afternoons through Saturday mornings. I have a fenced in backyard and two medium in house dog crates when needed. (scheduled appointments). In addition, I have dog gates and pens.

“Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. I’d absolutely book with Huey again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and caring for their pup!”

About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.
