Pet care experience

Your pup is our pup! LOVE!

Ming and the CARE Family! (Special Note: We require Canine Influenza Vaccine AND Bordetella) Shortly after being born (about 2 hours or so) I knew I loved animals. I adopted my first dog who taught me so much about myself and how to be a better person and help me understand dogs. She was believed to be non-intelligent dog, however, she could learn any trick I could think of in less than 5 minutes. She passed in 2009. After she passed I vowed to myself that I would do what I could to help and give a voice to animals. Since then I have been working, supporting, and helping animals and organizations to better the lives of animals. My experience includes over 25 years of animal care along with dog training, rehabilitating domesticated/feral/wild dogs, dogs with behavioral problems, vet experience and experience with various other animals including cats, ferrets, hedgehogs, turtles, rabbits, chinchillas, and birds. I currently work and volunteer for Capital Animal Rescue and Environmental Foundation, Taiwan SPCA as well as other organizations. I also have experience at a vet clinic assisting with hundreds of surgeries and medical treatment for dogs and cats. In just one typical day at the clinic, I would assist with surgeries and treatments on average for 40 dogs and cats. I gained a wealth of experience through volunteering with the vet which I thoroughly enjoyed. About my family: We ALL love dogs!!!! If my family and friends didn't, they wouldn't live with me! Everyone loves to help out and cuddle the pups. We work as a team and have a well organized system in watching the pups. We strive to provide the greatest cuddling service possible. There are many of us that live in the house and work together to provide our furry guest the best vacation stay possible. We love when the pups are happy and that makes us even happier. We live in bliss with all the pups! Come meet the family! I offer a spacious open home for all furry guest. The home is the purfect home for your pet. There is almost always someone around to hang out, play and relax with your pet. Training available upon request (additional). All cute pups (they are all cute pups to me no matter what their age, breed or looks are!) will get lots of love, exercise, and playtime. All pups will also be spoiled if allowed and if you don't allow it, It'll just be between me and your pup :-) . I will only crate your pet upon request. I prefer the animals to have the run of the house and to be completely relaxed as if they were at home. Important notes: 1. All dogs have to be cute! (in my book, all animals are cute so that's an easy one!) We take all kinds of pups! 2. Bring food, treats, collar, leash, dog tags and favorite toys. 3. Relax the dog prior to arrival by taking him/her on a long long long walk/run. Make sure they’ve pee'd and pooped already. 4. Please mention any quirks your pup may have, IE: marking, biting, barking, aggression, doesn't like car rides, terrified, ect... Don't worry because I will still take them in if I can. I just need to know what I'm working with and how to help them. 5. Preferred appointment CHECK IN/OUT TIME 8-10am or 6-8pm. We are very very flexible however we are by appointment only, please set a time for pick ups and drop offs. No random drop-ins please. In between is usually fine, just schedule with us first. Note: Before 8am or after 8pm will have extra night added on. 6. Make sure your dog is clean and groomed. No super stinky pups. I like to cuddle them (if they like of course) and I like to stay clean too. Please brush/furminate them if you can. Much appreciated. Please note that I take care of many dogs throughout the stay. I believe dogs and animals should live and socialize in a safe pack in order to keep them healthy and happy. You can see in my pictures how all the dogs, foster animals, cats, and chinchillas, and birds all get along with each other. *There is an additional $20 if your fur baby is under 1 year old/unaltered/over 60lbs Holiday rates (extra $10/day or night) in affect during the weeks of any Federal Holidays, spring break, Summer peak season. Last minute drop off will result in a $20 fee, so please plan ahead for your fur baby's vacation in advance. *Holiday week 5/27-5/30 Memorial Day 6/1-9/7 Summer season 11/11-11/13 Veteran's Day 11/23-11/27 Thanksgiving 12/22-1/2 Christmas&New Year They wake up around 7am and go potty in the backyard. Our feeding time is 7-9am and 5-7pm (twice a day) we feed them separately in a private space/room for safety concern. Every dog can only eat their own food. They will have plenty of time to digest their food before they are allowed to play. We provide dog beds for them to choose where to sleep or cuddle with the family on our bed (with the owner’s permission) or if there is a special request, we also have crate for them to sleep. After a full day of exercise and fun, your pup will be tired but happy when they go to bed. Dogs boarding with us will enjoy a staycation, burning off any excess energy during a full day of play with their fur friends. They will play in our fenced backyard under supervision, enjoying 8-10 hours fun time that features exercise and socialization. There are also plenty of time for naps (12-2pm) and breaks during the stay. There are lots of water bowls at every corner in the house and backyard. The first potty break is at 7-8am, with many more throughout the day. Last call is between 9-10pm. Pups are fed twice a day: once from 7-9am, and again from 3-5pm. All dogs are fed separately for safety purposes. This also ensures that they eat only their own food provided. They’ll have plenty of time to digest before they can play again. We are committed to giving your dog a fun and enjoyable experience while they’re here. They’ll have plenty of space to exercise, play, and socialize in our spacious fenced backyard. Playtime will be fully supervised by our staff members as safety is our top priority. Water bowls are placed in the backyard and throughout the house to keep your pup well hydrated. We typically let dogs out to the backyard every two hours for 20 to 40 minutes to ensure that they have enough time to cool down and rest.

My dog appeared happy! Everything went well. He’s an older dog not used to being in daycare so I was a bit apprehensive but after seeing the pics I knew everything was ok!

My pups are well cared for at Ming’s. My pups look forward to their stay when we pull up, and come home tired and happy! Ming takes the time to ask how my dogs behave and react before on boarding, and never hesitate to provide updates during their stay.

I can’t say enough good things about Ming, Jessie, Faith and everyone at Ming’s place. They took wonderful care of our pup for 8 years including towards the end when she needed extra care. She wasn’t the easiest dog but they loved her We have so many pictures from over the years showing how relaxed and happy she was there.

Please tell me anything that you feel is a need to know with your pup. I've worked with hundreds and hundreds of different kinds of dogs with different behaviors and I love them all! It's really important for me to know any concerning issues up front so I can better work with your pup and maybe even help them correct the issues on their stay.
