“Poh was lovely! I was going out of town last minute and therefore needed a last minute booking and Poh was available with fast response times as well. She has great rates and took amazing care of my dog, she even offers grooming and cut my pups nails over the weekend! She sent daily photos/videos of my pup with others, and took great care of him. Her dogs are also adorable and well behaved. Very kind and professional boarder, we will definitely rebook in the future whenever he requires a home away from home!”

At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. She came over to meet with us once before we left for our trip to learn more about how to take care of our asthmatic cat (who also has a heart condition)— which showed us that she takes these jobs very seriously. We knew immediately that we were in great hands with her. While we were gone, Jenni sent us very thorough updates and sent a ton of photos. She really went above and beyond to make sure our cat took his pills, his inhaler, and that he had playtime and cuddles. About: I've had and taken care of dogs all my life. Recently after the loss of my Rams I have started dog sitting for family and friends. I heard about Rover through those friends. I am a recently retired federal employee who's daily and weekly schedule consist driving family members to various appointments. I am available Sunday afternoons through Saturday mornings. When I dropped her off for day care I watched as Hazel sidled over to her and stayed calmly at her side as I departed. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”
About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.
“Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. I’d absolutely book with Huey again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and caring for their pup!”

We finally took the plunge in two years ago and adopted our own fur baby, a little tuxedo cat named Winnie! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very young, and I always had a family dog growing up. For 10 years, I have consistently been trusted by neighbors, family, friends, and even friends of friends to care for their dogs in various capacities. I took daily care of my sister's dog, Charlie (sweetest girl), who is a golden doodle and was a puppy at the time for 6 months. This included three walks per day and feeding her breakfast and dinner, plenty of tug of war and backyard time, as well as treats for being the best girl, but not too many.. I frequently take care of my parent’s dog who is high-energy and high-maintenance (Australian shepherd/poodle mix) who goes on two long walks per day and gets a ton of frisbee time in the yard. I've even taken care of another Rover Pet Sitter's dogs for multiple days, and overnight, while she was out of town, which included three daily walks (each and separately) for her two angels, I mean dogs. They are both a bit reactive and anxious, so I have plenty of experience navigating any possible issues along those lines. I currently have a very flexible schedule and work from home Monday-Friday, so I have plenty of time during the week for afternoon walks in addition to morning visits or afternoon/evening. I have plenty of availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am more than happy to answer any scheduling-related questions you might have! I've always had a dog growing up and love them more than most people (haha). I frequently take care of dogs of various ages for friends and family when they go out of town or are extremely busy, including my sister's puppy daily for months after she first brought her home (she was finishing medical school). I've also taken care of a very active Rover Sitter's two dogs that are reactive and walk separately, so I have plenty of experience tackling this kind of situation. They both got three (3) daily walks, breakfast, dinner, and a ton of play time for a few days while their owner was out of town. . I enjoy getting to know dogs and their personalities, so it barely felt like work. I have also worked as an Instacart Driver and in the Real Estate world, so I am more than capable of handling different ways of accessing apartments/condominiums via codes, lockboxes, etc, if that is of any concern. About: I have had dogs my whole life. 15 years ago my mom was diagnosed with dementia and I did not want my mom going into a nursing home. So I adopted little Rico and moved us all into a retirement community where they both stayed in our home until their last days. I had them both for 12 years and as you can see they were attached to each other. I lost them both three years ago and now I'm fostering, taking care of neighbors dogs in my community and joining the Rover family. I will take care of your fur babies with the same love and care as I took care of my mom and little Rico just as if they were my own. My background in pet care involves a blend of loyalty and real affection for animals, setting me apart from other sitters and helping me to offer a comprehensive approach to pet sitting. The flexibility that comes with working remotely is one of its biggest advantages. As a pet owner and pet sitter, my remote work position allows me to adjust my schedule to fit my personal life and on weekends I'm available Saturdays. Giving pets the proper care and attention is crucial, whether I am doing it at my own house or my client's. In addition to asking about any food allergies or sensitivities, I interact with clients to learn about their pets' dietary needs and preferences. I engage pets in pets exercise by involving them in things they like, like playing fetch, taking a little stroll around the neighborhood, or just spending time outside. Additionally, I'll continue to be watchful of the pet's safety, making sure they are in secure areas or on leashes when we go out.

“Chris was great with our older dog. He let him out into his yard and walked him daily. He also gave him his meds on schedule. We received daily updates during his stay. Chris was also responsive throughout the process: booking, meet and greet, drop off and pickup. Our dog was happy and relaxed after a one week stay with Chris. Highly recommend him for a stay!”

“I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog, Hazel, with Bryn. At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. I'd happily recommend Bryn to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”
