About: I have had dogs my whole life. 15 years ago my mom was diagnosed with dementia and I did not want my mom going into a nursing home. So I adopted little Rico and moved us all into a retirement community where they both stayed in our home until their last days. I had them both for 12 years and as you can see they were attached to each other. I lost them both three years ago and now I'm fostering, taking care of neighbors dogs in my community and joining the Rover family. I will take care of your fur babies with the same love and care as I took care of my mom and little Rico just as if they were my own. About: I have been taking care of my husband’s family’s 3 cats for over five years now. They have made me fall in love them. We finally took the plunge in two years ago and adopted our own fur baby, a little tuxedo cat named Winnie! I also volunteer at the local animal shelter, providing love comfort and help to animals looking for their new forever homes. I love playing with dogs and taking them on nice long walks! About: I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I get my daily dose of pet cuddles by caring for my friends' pets, from an energetic 6 month old puppy to senior dogs and cats. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very young, and I always had a family dog growing up. For 10 years, I have consistently been trusted by neighbors, family, friends, and even friends of friends to care for their dogs in various capacities. I took daily care of my sister's dog, Charlie (sweetest girl), who is a golden doodle and was a puppy at the time for 6 months. This included three walks per day and feeding her breakfast and dinner, plenty of tug of war and backyard time, as well as treats for being the best girl, but not too many.. I frequently take care of my parent’s dog who is high-energy and high-maintenance (Australian shepherd/poodle mix) who goes on two long walks per day and gets a ton of frisbee time in the yard. I've even taken care of another Rover Pet Sitter's dogs for multiple days, and overnight, while she was out of town, which included three daily walks (each and separately) for her two angels, I mean dogs. They are both a bit reactive and anxious, so I have plenty of experience navigating any possible issues along those lines. I currently have a very flexible schedule and work from home Monday-Friday, so I have plenty of time during the week for afternoon walks in addition to morning visits or afternoon/evening. I have plenty of availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am more than happy to answer any scheduling-related questions you might have! I've always had a dog growing up and love them more than most people (haha). I frequently take care of dogs of various ages for friends and family when they go out of town or are extremely busy, including my sister's puppy daily for months after she first brought her home (she was finishing medical school). I've also taken care of a very active Rover Sitter's two dogs that are reactive and walk separately, so I have plenty of experience tackling this kind of situation. They both got three (3) daily walks, breakfast, dinner, and a ton of play time for a few days while their owner was out of town. . I enjoy getting to know dogs and their personalities, so it barely felt like work. I have also worked as an Instacart Driver and in the Real Estate world, so I am more than capable of handling different ways of accessing apartments/condominiums via codes, lockboxes, etc, if that is of any concern. I have experience with medication management, fragile pets with mobility issues, anxiety and more. I work full-time from home so as long as I have a WiFi connection I’m in good shape. Plenty of time for walks and playtime I am available for walks, drop ins, day care or boarding in my home or yours. I have a fenced yard and literal miles of sidewalks and trails near me for walks. I offer run of the house for dogs who can do that, or safe smaller spaces for little ones. I have lots of experience with maintaining a safe environment for pets with anxiety, mobility issues or other conditions.

“Kelly was a fantastic host who graciously saved my vacation with a last minute booking when my plans fell through. She was wonderful with my anxious dog Stevie, who looked like she immediately felt at home. Kelly was communicative, sent many updates and photos, and was responsive to my suggestions when Stevie wouldn’t take her meds. Kelly and her husband allowed Stevie to snuggle on the couch and bed and took fantastic care of her. Stevie especially enjoyed the beautiful backyard and garden. I was able to have a relaxing trip knowing that Stevie was happy. I highly recommend Kelly and will definitely use her again!”
