About: Hi, my name is Ama and I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I recently lost my own senior pup, and I truly miss the companionship and joy that dogs bring. I’d love to open my home to your furry friend and give them the love, care, and attention they deserve while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and a cozy spot to relax. I’m a great communicator so we can decide which days might work best! I live a very active lifestyle and before my dog passed away recently, I would take her on 3 to 4 walks per day. There’s a park near my home and we also used to play catch and lay out in the sun.

I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.

When I dropped her off for day care I watched as Hazel sidled over to her and stayed calmly at her side as I departed. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”

Our furr baby Blake passed away in October of 2025, he was the goodest boy and forever will be cherished in our hearts. We live next to a long trail perfect for peaceful walks. We love outdoor activities and now with the warmer weather your pup will get plenty of exercise. I will maintain any schedule you have and make sure your pup gets extra loving during their stay. Our home can accommodate for those with extra energy or older dogs who want to sleep in and cuddle all day. My husband works from home and would love the company of "mans best friend". We are off on weekends and have plenty of trails to explore. Your furr babies can expect a minimum of 3 walks per day, cuddles, food time on schedule, treats, and lots of toys and play time.
