Over: (Available in Dutch, German and English) From a young age, I have always enjoyed being with animals. I am someone who finds her peace in nature and with animals. I have had cats my whole life, practiced horse riding, and since 3 year's, thanks to Rover, started taking care of dogs. Over time, I have gained considerable experience with various dog breeds, from puppies and small breeds to larger breeds and seniors. Through this experience with different breeds, I have learned to adapt to the ways and needs of your dog. If a dog enjoys being active and social, I make sure to find a outside area that fulfills these needs. I also have experience with dogs that are not social and need to be walked with stricter control. I’m in my last year of an arts bachelor. I go to school only once a week and for the rest of the week I practice/research/create at home. This means I have lots of open space to look after animals. I have noticed that it's beneficial for the animals to be in their familiar environment where they know everything and feel most comfortable. For those who are comfortable enough to stay at other places than their own house, I love to take care of them at my studio apartment in Amsterdam West. I don’t have a garden but I do have a balcony and enough green in the surrounding area to take them for walks. Important note is that I don’t have a separate bedroom and because of that I am careful on having dogs sleep over. I always like to meet them beforehand & preferably look after them a few times before having them sleepover.

We’re passionate animal lovers and proud parents of four wonderful dogs—three of whom we rescued from the streets. We have hands-on experience caring for dogs with different needs, personalities, and energy levels. Living with multiple dogs ourselves, we know how important it is to give pets love, structure, and a safe environment. That’s exactly what we offer to every dog we care for—just like family. We’re a couple working flexible hours, so we have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. Over: Fluent in english and spanish I know dogs very well and love them immeasurably, they’ve been with me at home since I was born. When I was 13, I was in charge of our new puppy (scheduling vet visits, vaccines, feeding and more), and then the 4 other dogs that came after. I trained all of them. In my early 20s, I walked and trained dogs as a side job and hobby. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, as well as with dogs that require medication on a daily or hourly basis. I’m very fond of cats, too, but sadly there weren’t any cats in my family home while I was growing up because my brother was allergic. However, from the moment I started living alone (roughly 10 years ago), different cats would always come to visit, and I am so happy to have been able to host them all. In the present I am missing more contact with furry and fluffy friends a lot! Currently living in a house with garden, with time and willingness of sharing company with animals :) I’ve had the best time taking care of different cats, dogs and plants for friends at their homes in many opportunities At the moment I’m available to walk, train, play with, and/or pet sit at any time during the weekdays and weekends, preferably in the morning and early afternoon, though I am flexible I will adapt to the routine that you and your companion/s already have and I commit to keep you updated with regular photos and videos, I know from the hearth how nice that feels :) I might will ask you about any allergies, patterns you've noticed in them, remnants of previous traumas, fears, whether they get along well with other dogs or cats, etc, all of this so that I can be prepared and know how to react; this will also help me to start building a bond in good terms while respecting their boundaries. Of course I'll also ask about their favourite treats, meals, toys and places, this simply because I am curious to know about what brings them joy and additionally incorporate that into positive reinforcement. I'll adjust our activities depending on your dog's energy level and preferences. Surely there will be walks, play time and cuddles (tons) spread throughout the day. On top of that I like to try out games and challenges to see if we find something new that makes them wag their tail! Like hide and seek with a toy, or learning tricks, or (like some dogs prefer..) just fetching all day long

Over: Hi! My name is Lesley. I have a nearly 10-year-old dog named Ermao, who now lives with my parents. He is incredibly cute and sweet, and we all love him so much. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in caring for dogs. I have also had the opportunity to take on some dog-walking and daycare requests, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Spending time with dogs, playing with them, and taking them on walks brings me so much joy.
In addition to dogs, I have some experience caring for cats as well. I took care of my friend's cat for two months, ensuring he was well-fed, comfortable, and happy.
 Recently, i just finished a fostering dog for nearly 3 months, I'm so happy to see him find the forever home! So I have more availability and would love to spend meaningful time with animals. I am passionate about their well-being and truly enjoy bonding with them. I look forward to new opportunities to care for and have fun with these wonderful companions! I normally have the time during the whole weekend. If you have any needs to take care for your pets, just contact me advance, I can adjust my schedule for the week. My place is a 28 square meter studio, it is more suitable for daycare of small and medium-sized dogs. It has a very comfortable environment for them to play and rest.

Over: I live with my husband, who love dogs as much as I do and also have experience taking care of them & we love having a furry friend at our place to shower lot of love! I have been on other petsitting apps , where I have taken care of almost 10-15 dogs for the past 3 years. I moved to Amsterdam recently from Rotterdam and we live in a Pet-friendly neighborhood with lots of open space for long walks! Med and my husbands work schedules are pretty flexible, and we plan our work days based on each other availability, so we ensure that atleast one of us is at home when we have taken dogs. I have taken care of many dogs here in Netherlands which included breeds like - Maltese, Mini-Poodle, Poodles, Golden retriever, Shih Tzu, Labrador, Cocker-spaniels etc, whose age varied from 3 month old to 12 years and I could say that my friends and the puppies were always happy coming back to my place :) Me and my husband are working with flexible work from home jobs, so we arrange our schedules to see that atleast one of us are at home always to take care of the dogs. We are active and very loving, so love having pets over and take care of them! We live in a apartment in a high rise at a safe neighbouhood. There is a open pet-park infront of the building, with lots of space for dogs to go around!

Over: Sinds mijn tiende zorg ik met veel liefde voor honden van vrienden, buren en familie. Of het nu ging om uitlaten, eten geven of logeerpartijen — ik deed het met plezier en aandacht. Nu hebben we zelf een lieve pup van 4 maanden, en ik weet hoe belangrijk het is dat je hond een veilige, liefdevolle plek heeft als jij er even niet bent. Bij mij krijgt elke hond alle rust, knuffels en zorg die hij nodig heeft om zich thuis te voelen. Jouw hond is hier geen gast, maar onderdeel van het gezin. Ik ben een huismoeder waardoor ik alle tijd en aandacht heb voor de honden die ik opvang. Mijn dagen zijn rustig en gestructureerd, en ik ben veel thuis met onze eigen pup van 4 maanden. Hondenopvang past daardoor perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Ik ben beschikbaar op doordeweekse dagen en in het weekend, en bied een liefdevolle, veilige plek met veel persoonlijke aandacht. Bij mij thuis staat rust, veiligheid en liefdevolle zorg centraal. Honden verblijven in een warme, huiselijke omgeving waar ze zich snel op hun gemak voelen. Ik zorg dat er voldoende structuur is, met vaste wandelmomenten, speeltijd en natuurlijk veel knuffels. Omdat ik altijd in de buurt ben, zijn ze nooit lang alleen. Onze eigen pup is vriendelijk en gewend aan andere honden, wat zorgt voor extra gezelschap en speelmomenten. Ik laat honden nooit los buiten tenzij dit met het baasje is besproken, en houd altijd rekening met de behoeften en gewoontes van elk dier.

Over: I grew up with a dog since I was little, ever since I was 8 years old I took care of it. After I moved out I sat multiple dogs of my friends and family! :) I just graduated from my Masters and I am now in between jobs. Therefore, I would love to help you take care for your dog or cat! Throughout the day a dog is your companion! 🐶 Taking them for a walk three times a day and playing around with them or going outside whenever they are seeking some love is something that cheers me up lots :).

Over: I've had a Jack Russel as a pet in South Africa and lived on a farm with several dogs. I am now keen to expose my daughter who loves dogs to pets while taking care of yours. I work from home so am super flexible but my dughter is keen to join so ideally in the afternoons or weekends could work well We have a large 3 story house in Amstelveen and a fenced back yard that is perfect for smaller to medium sized dogs but we would ideally not be initially taking care of pets at our place given the services we are initially offering

Over: Sinds vanaf mijn geboorte ben ik opgegroeid met dieren, we hadden altijd meerdere katten en ook 3x nestjes kittens gehad. Op mijn 8e jaar kreeg ons gezin er een labrador retriever bij en liet ik altijd de honden van de buren uit. Ik heb 3x een puppy getraind (labrador, australian shepperd en een yorkshire) De australian shepperd neem ik nog wel mee naar training. Ik heb zelf sinds mijn 17e altijd paarden gehad en heb momenteel nog een paard in training, de honden nam ik dan ook altijd mee naar het bos. Ik heb mijn huidige opleiding als Guasha Therapeut voor mens en paard (en gezelschapdieren) in september helemaal afgerond. Het is erg goed voor de band voor mens en dier om toe te passen voor de ontspanning, dit doe ik bij mijn paard met liefde en met goede resultaten! Ik verzorg regelmatig huisdieren van vrienden en familie als die op vakantie gaan en doe dit met veel plezier. Ik hou van bos en strandwandelingen maken zowel te paard als met de honden. Mijn vervolg opleiding is assistent dierenarts. ik heb veel vrijheid en kan eventueel de honden 3 a 4x per dag uitlaten (of hoe vaak dit nodig is). Werk thuis en op locatie heb veel vrijheid Ik neem ze graag mee naar buiten, bos strand of park. Maar net wat de omgeving toelaat. Ik ga graag naar honden trainingen en leer ze graag wat bij. Ze hebben bij mij thuis een rust plek die ik voor ze zal creëren en een eet plek, en natuurlijk kunnen ze lekker in de tuin spelen en ravotten.
