Over: Hello everyone! I’m Vanesa, originally from Aruba with Colombian roots, and I’ve been in Amsterdam for 3 years now, working hard toward my goals as a student. Animals have always been a big part of my life! I have two wonderful dogs back home in Aruba a 10 year old Golden Retriever mix named Toby and a 5year old Husky named Skyler who I miss dearly and adore so much. Since I can’t be with my own pups right now, I would love to take care of yours! My student apartment is cozy, and I live near a lovely park where we can go for fun walks and playtime. I’m excited to give your furry friend lots of attention, love, cuddles, and care when you can’t be there. Feel free to reach out with any questions! As a student, I have a super flexible schedule, so I am available on different days and at various times to care for your pets! My room is small, but your pets will still have funn! Over: (Available in Dutch, German and English) From a young age, I have always enjoyed being with animals. I am someone who finds her peace in nature and with animals. I have had cats my whole life, practiced horse riding, and since 3 year's, thanks to Rover, started taking care of dogs. Over time, I have gained considerable experience with various dog breeds, from puppies and small breeds to larger breeds and seniors. Through this experience with different breeds, I have learned to adapt to the ways and needs of your dog. If a dog enjoys being active and social, I make sure to find a outside area that fulfills these needs. I also have experience with dogs that are not social and need to be walked with stricter control. I’m in my last year of an arts bachelor. I go to school only once a week and for the rest of the week I practice/research/create at home. This means I have lots of open space to look after animals. I have noticed that it's beneficial for the animals to be in their familiar environment where they know everything and feel most comfortable. For those who are comfortable enough to stay at other places than their own house, I love to take care of them at my studio apartment in Amsterdam West. I don’t have a garden but I do have a balcony and enough green in the surrounding area to take them for walks. Important note is that I don’t have a separate bedroom and because of that I am careful on having dogs sleep over. I always like to meet them beforehand & preferably look after them a few times before having them sleepover.

I was very nervous to leave Ben, but Kania's friendly reassurance put us at ease. Dropping Ben off was easy as Kania met me outside. Throughout the day Kania kept us updated and even sent us pictures of Ben which made our day so much easier. I'd recommend Kania to anyone who wanted their fluffy friend looked after for the day. Over: Fluent in english and spanish I know dogs very well and love them immeasurably, they’ve been with me at home since I was born. When I was 13, I was in charge of our new puppy (scheduling vet visits, vaccines, feeding and more), and then the 4 other dogs that came after. I trained all of them. In my early 20s, I walked and trained dogs as a side job and hobby. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, as well as with dogs that require medication on a daily or hourly basis. I’m very fond of cats, too, but sadly there weren’t any cats in my family home while I was growing up because my brother was allergic. However, from the moment I started living alone (roughly 10 years ago), different cats would always come to visit, and I am so happy to have been able to host them all. In the present I am missing more contact with furry and fluffy friends a lot! Currently living in a house with garden, with time and willingness of sharing company with animals :) I’ve had the best time taking care of different cats, dogs and plants for friends at their homes in many opportunities At the moment I’m available to walk, train, play with, and/or pet sit at any time during the weekdays and weekends, preferably in the morning and early afternoon, though I am flexible I will adapt to the routine that you and your companion/s already have and I commit to keep you updated with regular photos and videos, I know from the hearth how nice that feels :) I might will ask you about any allergies, patterns you've noticed in them, remnants of previous traumas, fears, whether they get along well with other dogs or cats, etc, all of this so that I can be prepared and know how to react; this will also help me to start building a bond in good terms while respecting their boundaries. Of course I'll also ask about their favourite treats, meals, toys and places, this simply because I am curious to know about what brings them joy and additionally incorporate that into positive reinforcement. I'll adjust our activities depending on your dog's energy level and preferences. Surely there will be walks, play time and cuddles (tons) spread throughout the day. On top of that I like to try out games and challenges to see if we find something new that makes them wag their tail! Like hide and seek with a toy, or learning tricks, or (like some dogs prefer..) just fetching all day long

Over: I've had a Jack Russel as a pet in South Africa and lived on a farm with several dogs. I am now keen to expose my daughter who loves dogs to pets while taking care of yours. I work from home so am super flexible but my dughter is keen to join so ideally in the afternoons or weekends could work well We have a large 3 story house in Amstelveen and a fenced back yard that is perfect for smaller to medium sized dogs but we would ideally not be initially taking care of pets at our place given the services we are initially offering

I'm a student, so I have much free time and I am really flexible. I have my own bike and can easily move around. Over: Ik heb sinds mijn tiende voor veel verschillende soorten honden gezorgd. Mijn familie en vrienden vroegen me dan om hun huisdieren uit te laten, voer te geven en met ze te spelen. Momenteel werk ik 1 dag per week en heb ik dus alle tijd om een aantal uur per week dieren te verzorgen in mijn buurt. Ik heb een middelgrote kamer en die is heel goed verlicht. Ik heb ook een grote voor en achtertuin. De omgeving achter mijn huis is ook een bebost gebied.
