Over: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life, getting to bond easily with them, specially dogs… I’ve been cat, dog and bird sitting all around the world. My daily goal is to walk 10.000 steps a day, so I am taking walking breaks from work and is the way that I start and finish my day. It would even better to walk with a dog. I make sure they have water and food when needed and walk the dogs after each meal and always find the best stick to play. With cats I clean the litter every day and brush their hair if they have it long. I would try to keep their owners rules at mine but if they convince me to be on my couch with puppy eyes it won’t be my fault.

Over: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a very pet-loving family where we always had at least three dogs, sometimes four, alongside rabbits, fish, and other pets. Over the years I’ve lived with and cared for a wide variety of different breeds, including Bernese Mountain Dogs, Newfoundlands, a Cocker Spaniel mix, a Maltese Poodle, and a Boerboel. Having had both giant breeds and smaller dogs as pets has really taught me how different every dog is and how important it is to adapt to their individual personality, energy level, and needs. I regularly took our three Bernese Mountain Dogs on hikes in the mountains and on adventures to forests and lakes, while our smaller dogs much preferred a relaxing walk on the beach or park. I now work from home full-time, with no pets currently, and live just a short walk from Vondelpark, which means I have the flexibility to give plenty of attention, walks and playtime throughout the day. Over: Ik heb vanaf jongs af aan altijd dieren om me heen gehad, konijnen, katten, honden, hamsters noem het maar op, ik hield toen al van de aanwezigheid en liefde van de dier. Zelf heb ik een poes van bijna 7 dat echt mijn kindje is en het het liefst zou ik ook een hond willen maar daar vind ik m’n woonruimte klein voor dus vandaar dat ik met liefde voor andere honden (en katten) zorg. Ik heb in de tijd dat ik in LA woonde voor 4 honden gezorgd, het was voor mij altijd weer een feestje om een lange wandeling te maken, zonnetje, palmbomen en honden wat wil je nog meer! :) Helaas is het in Amsterdam niet altijd mooi weer maar ook hier heb ik voor andermans honden gezorgd, oa als dierenbuddy, waar ik voor een oudere dame haar hond wekelijks uitliet. Mijn moeder heeft ook een hond die ik vaak uitlaat en naar de kapper breng en ophaal. Verder ken ik veel mensen met honden en die zijn altijd stapelgek om me (en andersom). Ook heb ik in het verleden op katten van buren en vrienden gepast en af en toe doe ik dat nog steeds voor een buurmeisje. Ik weet dat omgang met dieren gewoon mijn passie is en ik wil daarom uiteindelijk ook mijn eigen hondenuitlaat bedrijf beginnen. Ik ga binnenkort ook starten met een cursus dieren ehbo en ik ben ook veel aan het lezen over honden gedrag. Ik hoop dat mijn profiel je aanspreekt en ik met alle liefde voor je kleine (of grote) vriend kan zorgen. Ik werk 4 dagen per week, dinsdag, zaterdag en zondag zijn m’n vrije dagen dus dan ben ik vrij flexibel om voor je hond/kat te zorgen. Maandag en vrijdag overdag ben ik beschikbaar tot 15 uur en dinsdag, woensdag & donderdagavond ben ik ook beschikbaar. Ik heb zelf een kat thuis en zij is gewend om alleen te zijn dus ik weet niet of ik de huisdier bij mijzelf thuis kan opvangen

I’m fluent in English, Dutch and Swedish (I can teach your dog some ;) ) Ever since I can remember I’ve been a big fan of dogs. I’ve had dogs around me my whole life, I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and have in my later teens helped raised two Kangals. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a balcony (with a serious fence). There is an elevator as well for the seniors! We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: the world does not end from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect that. I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.

Ik woon naast het bos en houd van lange wandelingen en veel buiten zijn, dus aan activiteiten geen gebrek bij mij ! Ik werk fulltime, maar houd mijn weekenden graag vrij en heb daardoor vaak tijd in de weekenden om overdag op te passen. Ik woon naast het bos en ben door weer en wind graag veel buiten. Zelf heb ik een appartement op de begane grond met een klein (niet omheind) terras. Er is een grote binnentuin met veel gras om op te spelen en woon ik naast het Amsterdamse bos, dus veel groen in de omgeving. Mijn huis is niet ingesteld op huisdieren, maar ik ben graag op pad maar sta ook zeker open voor een wat rustiger hondje die vooral veel thuis wil zijn.
Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds. A few years later, I am now living in Amsterdam, working full-time with dogs at a fantastic farm facility outside of the city, and finishing up my Master's degree. I work a few days a week at a dog daycare organisation on a rural farmland property outside of Amsterdam. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. Our apartment has two balconies (one of which gets the sun all day long ☀️☀️☀️) and plenty of comfy space inside for dogs to relax. All my dog guests get an entire room to themselves to ensure they have their own quiet and safe space to rest—unless, of course, they prefer to cuddle up with us on the sofa or in bed... Because of my professional background managing packs, safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities, whether looking after a pet in my home or yours.
Over: I’ve been around lots of animals since I was young, and currently am the guardian of a 10-year-old dog and an 12-year-old cat. I’ve fostered rescue animals, who were shy or fearful, so I am comfortable navigating different personalities with confidence. I am free on the weekend, and in the late afternoon during the week. My work is flexible though so things can always be discussed I have a friendly and playful dog to keep your dog company. My cat is friendly but very low energy, she sleeps most of the day
Over: I have hands-on experience as a pet sitter, caring for dogs in their own homes for extended stays. I’ve looked after multiple dogs at the same time, including energetic and playful dogs as well as older pets who need a calmer routine. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and keeping dogs comfortable while their owners are away. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, whether that means active play, longer walks, or a more relaxed pace. I’ve also stayed overnight with pets, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and never lonely. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, and I plan my days around the pets I’m responsible for. I’m flexible and reliable, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. I always make sure they feel comfortable and never rushed. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet parents, keep routines consistent, and always prioritize safety. I make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment and treat every animal with care, patience, and respect — as if they were my own.
Over: I’m an animal Lover based in Amsterdam. I had my own dog for 7 years and cat for 14 years and I have experience taking care of Friends furry friend when I can . I will make sure that your pet feels comfortable and receive the needed attention and probably more hugs than needed. Looking forward to meet you and your furry baby . I’m currently working full remote , so I’m very flexible and I can adapt to the pets needs. I usually adapt to the needs of the dog as I’m pretty flexible I can do 3 walks per day, living next to a very big park where the dog can run and play. I prefers to host but I can come to your place if prefer. I have a fenced balcony. I’m flexible on going to the dog owner place or hosting at home, I have a balcony facing the inside communal space, and a big living room and kitchen also I live close by a lot of parks to go for walks
Over: My family and I are very active pet-lovers. We have cared for multiple pets for the past 20+ years, and have experienced many different types of pet personalities. I have two dogs living with my family - a two year old shih tzu named Poppy and an eleven year old coonhound named Willie. My three year old cat, Casper, lives with me here, and loves cats and dogs of all types. I do work full-time from Monday to Friday, with the ability to work from home one day a week. I would be more than happy to coordinate this day to align with your needs :) I live in the Distillery District - a terrific neighbourhood close to nature and expansive walking trails. Over: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life, getting to bond easily with them, specially dogs… I’ve been cat, dog and bird sitting all around the world. My daily goal is to walk 10.000 steps a day, so I am taking walking breaks from work and is the way that I start and finish my day. It would even better to walk with a dog. I make sure they have water and food when needed and walk the dogs after each meal and always find the best stick to play. With cats I clean the litter every day and brush their hair if they have it long. I would try to keep their owners rules at mine but if they convince me to be on my couch with puppy eyes it won’t be my fault.
