I am free most days and can walk your dog whatever their schedule is. I am very flexible with stays at my home or at yours any day of the week. In my home, I let them sniff the area first to get the lay of the land. This will give them space to get comfortable surroundings and understand that it is a safe space for them. Since my dog is also home with me, I prefer they meet in neutral territory for a meet & greet to ensure that it is a good match, however I’ve had other dogs come over without the need for one, and it has been okay. I just like to take the extra precaution to give both of us piece of mind. At the client’s home, I’ll follow yours and your dog’s routine. Over: Ik heb vanaf jongs af aan altijd dieren om me heen gehad, konijnen, katten, honden, hamsters noem het maar op, ik hield toen al van de aanwezigheid en liefde van de dier. Zelf heb ik een poes van bijna 7 dat echt mijn kindje is en het het liefst zou ik ook een hond willen maar daar vind ik m’n woonruimte klein voor dus vandaar dat ik met liefde voor andere honden (en katten) zorg. Ook heb ik in het verleden op katten van buren en vrienden gepast en af en toe doe ik dat nog steeds voor een buurmeisje. Ik weet dat omgang met dieren gewoon mijn passie is en ik wil daarom uiteindelijk ook mijn eigen hondenuitlaat bedrijf beginnen. Ik ga binnenkort ook starten met een cursus dieren ehbo en ik ben ook veel aan het lezen over honden gedrag. Over: Al van kinds af aan een grote voorliefde gehad voor honden maar helaas geen tijd om full-time aandacht te geven aan een gezellige viervoeter. Ik woon naast het bos en houd van lange wandelingen en veel buiten zijn, dus aan activiteiten geen gebrek bij mij ! Ik werk fulltime, maar houd mijn weekenden graag vrij en heb daardoor vaak tijd in de weekenden om overdag op te passen. Ik woon naast het bos en ben door weer en wind graag veel buiten. Zelf heb ik een appartement op de begane grond met een klein (niet omheind) terras. Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a balcony (with a serious fence). There is an elevator as well for the seniors! We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: the world does not end from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect that. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds. A few years later, I am now living in Amsterdam, working full-time with dogs at a fantastic farm facility outside of the city, and finishing up my Master's degree. If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. I always make sure to follow the owner's instructions. It's always a rewarding experience and I'm more than happy to do it! I work from home 2-3 times a week and love to take walks outside in my breaks. In the weekends I’m also often into going outdoors or grabbing a coffee in the city. We have a park next to our house with a small spot with fences that allows dogs to roam free. I have no other dogs or cats at home and a calming appartement.
