“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Over: I've been around dogs my whole life. My family's first was a Jack Russell Terrier, followed by a Bichon, and my sister has two Bichons of her own. Dogs have always been part of my day to day, so I'm completely at ease minding them and making sure they feel safe and well cared for. This year, my partner and I adopted Nori, a lil Iggy. Raising him from a pup has sharpened my hands-on ownership skills. Everything from house-training to managing his wild personality. He's energetic, and always up for making a new friend, so if your dog enjoys company, he'll make a good pal. Italian Greyhounds are renowned for being clingy so I'm well used to giving a dog my full attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which means your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. If they need someone around consistently I think I’d be a good fit Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home full-time. Mornings start with a walk, often down to Sarphatipark, followed by regular breaks throughout the day for toilet, play, and outdoor time. Evenings bring a longer walk. Your dog won't be left alone for long stretches; consistent attention is just part of how my days already run. I follow each dog's normal routine - feeding, walks, meds, wherever we are. At home, they join Nori and me around the flat. Never left alone for long. I also live with my partner Abbie who's just a trustworthy and similar lover of dogs so there will always be 4 eyes on your pet :)

“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”
Over: Vanaf jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden. helaas nu ik op mezelf woon moet ik het hebben van oppas hondjes. omdat ik zelf in een appartement woon. Ik hou ervan om met de hond opstap te gaan en buiten te zijn, maar ook binnenhuis komen hondjes geen aandacht te kort. Momenteel ben ik zelf wat minder gaan werken, dus heb ik alle tijd om door te brengen met een hondje. Ik vind het fijn mocht het hondje het ook leuk vinden om naar het park te gaan. Verder is het ook geen probleem voor mij om veel tussentijdse rondjes met een hondje te lopen. Zelf woon ik in een appartement dus ik zal er iets vaker met het hondje op uit gaan omdat ik geen tuin heb. Wel zal het hondje in staat moeten zijn om twee trappen op te moeten kunnen. Of als het een wat kleiner hondje is kan ik ook tillen.

Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.

Over: Vanaf jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden. helaas nu ik op mezelf woon moet ik het hebben van oppas hondjes. omdat ik zelf in een appartement woon. Ik hou ervan om met de hond opstap te gaan en buiten te zijn, maar ook binnenhuis komen hondjes geen aandacht te kort. Momenteel ben ik zelf wat minder gaan werken, dus heb ik alle tijd om door te brengen met een hondje. Ik vind het fijn mocht het hondje het ook leuk vinden om naar het park te gaan. Verder is het ook geen probleem voor mij om veel tussentijdse rondjes met een hondje te lopen. Zelf woon ik in een appartement dus ik zal er iets vaker met het hondje op uit gaan omdat ik geen tuin heb. Wel zal het hondje in staat moeten zijn om twee trappen op te moeten kunnen. Of als het een wat kleiner hondje is kan ik ook tillen.

Over: Ik heb vanaf jongs af aan altijd dieren om me heen gehad, konijnen, katten, honden, hamsters noem het maar op, ik hield toen al van de aanwezigheid en liefde van de dier. Zelf heb ik een poes van bijna 7 dat echt mijn kindje is en het het liefst zou ik ook een hond willen maar daar vind ik m’n woonruimte klein voor dus vandaar dat ik met liefde voor andere honden (en katten) zorg. Ik heb in de tijd dat ik in LA woonde voor 4 honden gezorgd, het was voor mij altijd weer een feestje om een lange wandeling te maken, zonnetje, palmbomen en honden wat wil je nog meer! :) Helaas is het in Amsterdam niet altijd mooi weer maar ook hier heb ik voor andermans honden gezorgd, oa als dierenbuddy, waar ik voor een oudere dame haar hond wekelijks uitliet. Mijn moeder heeft ook een hond die ik vaak uitlaat en naar de kapper breng en ophaal. Verder ken ik veel mensen met honden en die zijn altijd stapelgek om me (en andersom). Ook heb ik in het verleden op katten van buren en vrienden gepast en af en toe doe ik dat nog steeds voor een buurmeisje. Ik weet dat omgang met dieren gewoon mijn passie is en ik wil daarom uiteindelijk ook mijn eigen hondenuitlaat bedrijf beginnen. Ik ga binnenkort ook starten met een cursus dieren ehbo en ik ben ook veel aan het lezen over honden gedrag. Ik hoop dat mijn profiel je aanspreekt en ik met alle liefde voor je kleine (of grote) vriend kan zorgen. “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.

Over: I’ve had dogs since I was young and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!

“Michelle & Theo exceeded our high expectations of them. We had a meet and greet in which our dog was misbehaving, but that didn’t phase them. They let him come back for a half day, and everything went well so we felt mutually comfortable leaving him for our short holiday. Connor has separation anxiety, returned to us very ‘normal’ no signs of stress or anxiety, just happy. They took such great care of him, sent us plenty of updates and pictures, and accepted Connor as part of the roedel. We’re so very glad to have found Michelle and Theo. They live in an absolute paradise for dogs, and only minutes outside central Amsterdam. An absolute aanrader. We now feel confident about booking a vacation again as we know Connor is in the best hands. Thank you again for everything!”
