About: I grew up with cats and have been taking care of people's dogs for many years. I was often the go to person for dog sitting in my co-housing community where I lived until recently in Santa Fe, NM. I moved back east at the end of 2022. I will be back in Santa Fe from September 20-October 7. *Please note that I charge $30 for meet and greets. I can add this on to your total booking fee or you can pay some other way. This ensures that people have a serious intention of booking when they ask me to come out and meet them and their animals and it also ensures that I am compensated for the time I spend doing this. Thank you for your understanding!* In the spring of 2022, I completed my graduate school classes in art therapy and clinical counseling at Southwestern College in NM and am working towards growing my business as an artist. I have the flexibility to pet sit often during this transition. I do not have an "online job". I take my artwork with me when I housesit and work on things that I can do at other people's homes (like sewing). Because of this, I am able to spend most of the time pet sitting at home with the animal. I enjoy connecting with both cats and dogs in their homes. I like taking dogs out on long hikes and I am a cat whisperer.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I have owned cats and dogs my whole life so I have experience caring for them. I have raised litters of kittens from birth multiple times. I also have a degree in wildlife rehabilitation which is helpful in pet care because I have experience with messy situations, baby animals and unexpected circumstances! My schedule is pretty flexible this summer. I’m typically always available after 5 and weekends. I’m also typically available every other morning but can stop by early morning if needed. I unfortunately cannot offer up my own home/ dorm but would do my best at the client’s home. I am more than willing to spend extra time with pets and ensure they are cared for and happy.

About: I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: With over 10 years of personal pet experience, 4 with my own dog walking business, and 2 years taking care of several families pets I will provide the best care for your pets and treat them as my own. I have been a pet sitter for dogs from 5 pounds to 100. I love and can accommodate to both playful and calm dogs. I am currently taking summer classes at App State so I have almost full availability with the exception of going to class once or twice a weekday. I can provide indoor and outdoor care in your home. Including walks, playtime, and feeding. I can clean up any messes left behind and make sure they are well cared for.

Three of my dogs are crated while i’m not home but after Im home they get to run around inside and they are walked before i leave, and while Im home. Once Im doing this full time they will not be crated as much. I do not have a fenced in yard so they are walked instead as much as possible! But could also put up a temporary fence if needed!

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.
