Kayla is very timely with walking our dog and thorough with her responsibilities. And I bet if our pooch could do it, he’d give Kayla two paws up. I recommend her.

About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.

About: I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was young. I would get paid to walk dogs and to check on cats and fish. I love hanging out with all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I just graduated from Wake Forest University, where I played volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. Cats, I am also available to do whatever is helpful and needed! I have my own space with no other animals!

About: Retired from workforce, former military, active person, daily walks with our dogs—neighborhood, parks, trails. Worked with certified dog trainer for our two dogs. Time on my hands. I am retired and have plenty of time when not playing with our own two dogs and exercising. They are the center of our lives. We have a fenced in back yard for our dogs. Since I am retired, and my wife works part time, I spend most of my time with our dogs. We will not bring client’s pets to our home nor will my wife be a caretaker.

About: II’ve loved animals my whole life and have a natural gift for connecting with them—especially cats! I have extensive experience with medical care, including giving injections, liquid medications, and complex pill schedules. I also previously held a Groomer’s License in Colorado, so I am very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve cared for animals with everything from broken limbs to chronic diseases, so your pet is in very capable hands." I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: I have been pet sitting for roughly 10 years. It started when I was young just caring for my friends dogs and cats when they went out of town but has evolved into a small client base that I want to expand. I have cared for mostly senor dogs, providing them with medication as it was prescribed, ensuring they were safe when outside, and updating owners on any changes in behavior and physical condition. Recently I have gotten my own dog who is now three years old and that is the most experience I had with puppies but I do know quite a bit about training and am willing to care for young dogs as well. Because she is my own dog, she must be able to come with me to overnight stays, she is very friendly with dogs, cats, and even horses!. I love dogs with all my heart and grew up with them in the house. I don't have any cats in my family but I do know how important they are to their family and I love to take care of the cats I have taken care of in the past. I truly believe our pets are part of the family and deserve care and comfort when their humans are away. I am a full time student currently so I don't have the most time in the world but I am more than happy to take a break from school work to play and walk with pets and then maybe hang out together while I study before their dinnertime! I like to get a rough idea of the pets typical schedule and stick as close to that as possible, making sure everyone is fed on time, walked when walks are needed, and generally keeping them on the same schedule they are used to! I have found this to be the best option as it gives the pets a sense of normalcy in their routine while the family is away.

About: Hello! I'm Coryne, and I'm a student mental health therapist and a huge animal lover! I grew up around all sorts of animals, from cats and dogs, to horses and parrots. While I’m in school, I always find myself wanting more animal time, and I am always happy to meet new pets and help out their hard working parents! I know what it's like to be a dog parent that sometimes needs some extra help! I have plenty of personal and professional experience taking care of mainly dogs, cats, and horses, and I do have some experience with bunnies and birds. I’ve also worked in shelters, doggy daycares, and horse barns! With all of these animals, I have vast experience in many methods of care, including feeding and medicating. With the experience I gained over my life, I have become very familiar with animals of many kinds and needs. I am thrilled at the idea of meeting new furry friends and offering the care and attention they need! I could not think of any better way to fill my time between my classes and internship. I hope to offer just as much love and care to your pet as you would yourself! **PLEASE READ** My real availability may vary slightly than what is seen on this calendar, so to make this easier on you, here are the times and days I am most likely available: MONDAY: Mornings: 6AM-8AM Afternoons: 3PM-4PM Evenings: 4PM-10PM TUESDAY: Mornings: 6AM-7AM Afternoons: NONE Evenings: 7PM-10PM WEDNESDAY: Mornings: 6AM-9AM Afternoons: 1PM-4PM Evenings: 4PM-10PM THURSDAY: Mornings: 6AM-11AM Afternoons: 11AM-3PM Evenings: Biweekly class, sometimes NO availability FRIDAY: Mornings: 10-11AM Afternoons: 11AM-4PM Evenings: 4PM-6PM I take safety and security very seriously and I will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pet. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve been blessed to love and care for pups of all ages — from energetic puppies who need patience and structure, to sweet senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and attention. Growing up around dogs taught me more than just the basics of feeding and walking. It taught me how to read their body language, understand their different personalities, and recognize when they need comfort, space, playtime, or reassurance. Every dog is different, and I truly respect that. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby. They’re family. My goal is always to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, play sessions, sticking closely to their routine, or just quiet cuddles on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they are. Your dog won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for with patience, kindness, and genuine love. As a stay-at-home dog mom, I’m home the majority of the time, which allows me to be fully present and flexible for your fur babies. My schedule is very open, so I’m available most days and times to provide attentive, loving care. Because I’m not juggling a full-time job outside of the home, your pet won’t be left alone and will receive consistent supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I truly enjoy being home and caring for animals, so pet sitting fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to give each dog the time, patience, and attention they deserve. 🐶💛 When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walk times, medications, and bedtime habits — because I know consistency helps reduce stress. Pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, affection, playtime, and rest. Since I stay home, they’re rarely left alone and always have someone nearby to make them feel safe and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s space. I make sure feeding instructions, walk schedules, medications, and any special care needs are followed exactly as requested. I keep things tidy, provide regular updates with photos, and make sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. My goal in either setting is the same — to treat your fur baby like family and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. Let’s talk! I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals. Give me all the details of your needs and preferences, boundaries and particulars- no matter what type of sit- so I can be sure you and your pet(s) feel a sense of trust, ease, and predictability.

About: Hi! My name is Jade and I am an avid dog enthusiast and college student. I currently own a 1 year old Australian Shepherd and boy oh boy does he have energy. Before him I had another Aussie (female) who acquired cancer around 7-8years old, because of this I have sadly become very skilled with working with sick/hurting dogs. I also love to train dogs, my current Aussie has a Novice Trick Dog title from AKC and we are working on his intermediate title while learning Conformation skills and Therapy dog skills. I am very patient with the pups and am a big believer in positive reinforcement. My Aussie is registered and I am very good friends with his breeder who is very knowledgeable in this field and is always happy to lend a hand. Currently I have no dogs at home, because I live in Tennessee for college and my Aussie is back with my family in Texas. Thanks for your consideration!! I’m currently a student, so I have a very flexible schedule in which I can take care of animals in your home or mine! I love walking dogs (I live in a safe-gated apartment complex) and chilling on the couch with sweet cats! I have a large apartment, and can take the dogs on long walks to suit their needs. I’m diligent about always feeding and watering animals before myself and am fully committed to the wellbeing of the fur babies in my care!
