I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: I have grown up around dogs since I was a baby. I also frequently volunteer at the animal shelter, mainly performing dog walking. Both young and old, I believe that dogs are such positive animals to be around and look after. I’m reliable, responsible, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared for. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra attention, I’m here to help and treat them like family every step of the way. I just graduated college and am at home before I start working full time. My schedule is very open and I would love to fill it with some pet care! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible—whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or cuddle time. I always prioritize the pet’s comfort and safety, keeping their space clean and their needs fully met. I love sending updates and photos so owners feel connected while they’re away.

About: I have a long history of in house pet sitting over the last 15 years as well as caring for my own. I feel comfortable with puppies, older dogs, giving medicine and exercising hyper dogs. I have 15 year old super mutt (junkyard dog as we like to say) and a 1.5 year old chocolate lab who are both well socialized and love all dogs. I have an extremely flexible schedule currently. Id love to be walking any dogs during the work day so they are nice and rested when you get home! My pets are beyond spoiled. But I wouldn't have it any other way! I love all dogs and will treat yours like my own! I like to maintain routines for pets and make sure they have a good balance of stimulation and rest.

About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.

About: I've been loving my cat and dog for a good 15 years, and have plenty of love for your babies too! I'm comfortable administering meds and caring for older animals. From my volunteering, I can handle many temperaments. I'm confident in walking a good few miles as well. I'm currently working part-time, and its the summer so Im out of school and have plenty of time to dedicate to your babies! I'm officially only unavailable on Tuesdays from 4-6. I'm a morning bird and night owl! I have a fenced in yard with an older pup and a calm older kitty. It's just my Mom and I at home, so a calm, quiet environment. We've got a large backyard and plenty of energy to provide if needed!

I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: Hello, I'm Allison. I love animals. I started taking care of my family's pets when I was 4 years old. Animals play a huge part in my life, especially dogs. I'm a proud owner of a mix breed (Chance) and two other dogs(Loki and Prada. Who are all rescues. Chance was rescued off the side of the road with a minor head injury. Loki was rescued from a litter of pups, where he was the runt that nobody wanted. Prada was rescued from a "homeless", who could not care for her. I'm very patient and loving when it comes to the care of animals. I've worked at a animal shelter/vets office for 1 year. My services include feeding, playing, exercise, bathing, cage-less boarding, teeth brushing, and more. I'm capable of giving your Pet it's medication (oral or injection if needed). She mostly stays in her car tree or I can put her in a separate part of the apartment. So no need to worry about your fur baby getting her. I can also crate your fur baby if needed
