“Christy was available right away, same day and I am so thankful. I work a hybrid schedule and was called into the office last minute. We have a new puppy and yesterday was the first day he was home by himself I needed someone to give him a walk and a little exercise. Christy was very prompt in her response she sent me beautiful pictures and roll with the punches as we could not find the collar or leash. Thank you so much Christy look forward to using you in the future”

“Natasha has done WONDERFUL with my pup! She’s one of the few we’ve met that Bleu trusted right away and didn’t bark upon meeting her with me! She has been on time and Bleu seems to really be happy when I get home - so I know she’s doing great with her!”

About: I have cared for many animals over the past 8ish years and with that, I have plenty experience in house sitting, dog walking, taking care of senior dogs, as well as bathing them. I’m currently studying at Northeast State, so I’m free most of the time. I usually walk my dogs around my neighborhood and I’d be more than happy to add your dog to the group! I have 2 of my own dogs: Loki (9 y/o Great Dane-Pyrenees) and Max (3 y/o Polish Hound). They both love new animals and will make your dog feel at home. I also offer dog bathing services, I’ve bathed dogs large and small, anxious and calm, and I can confidently say that no two dogs handle the bath experience the same, with that, if you’re interested in adding a bath to your dogs sitting experience, I will make sure that no boundaries are pushed and that your pup is 100% comfortable during the experience.
About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I’m currently in university and may need to adjust for my classes, but I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 4 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

I would say I am pretty particular about how I take care of my dogs so I would make sure your dogs got the best care. I have had animals in my life since I could remember and have been a reliable source for animal care since I was about 10. It’s something that I have enjoyed doing and love to meet new clients! You could not find a better person to watch your fur babies! I have a ton of recommendations from amazing people that have trusted me and continue to do so. I have trained dogs as well! Would love to chat and see if we would be a good match! I am a stay at home mom, I am doing this as my full time job so I will ensure they get all the time they need! I have a wild child at home (my husky mix) and am not afraid of a challenge! I take my dogs out multiple times a day to ensure they are comfortable and I’m meeting their needs. My dogs get fed once in the morning and once at night. Of course if I am watching your dog or cat, I can adjust to your animals needs.

About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.
About: With a decade-long history of dedicated pet care, my journey began in my teenage years, where I quickly became the go-to person in the neighborhood for those seeking a responsible and caring individual to look after their beloved animals. This role continued into adulthood, as I earned the trust of friends and their extended networks to provide top-notch care for their pets. In 2019, I elevated my commitment to pet care by joining TrustedHousesitter, embarking on an enriching experience traveling across Europe to ensure the well-being of cherished animals in the absence of their owners. My own cherished companion, Ellie Mae, a 10-year-old dog, holds a special place in my heart. Much like a member of my family, I extend the same level of affectionate and attentive care to your pet that I provide to Ellie Mae. My early professional experience in a pet supply store equipped me with valuable insights into pet care and dog training, further enhancing my expertise in the field. Above all, I want to assure you that your home will be treated with the utmost respect, and your pet(s) will receive nothing short of genuine love and compassion under my attentive care. Your trust is invaluable, and I am dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in pet sitting for your peace of mind. About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and devoted pet parent with 4 cats and 2 Weimaraners. I have experience fostering, caring for sick pets, and giving medication. Loving, reliable, and ready to treat your pets like family. I just moved to the area from the west coast. Currently my schedule is wide open until I get settled and establish a client base and a routine. I care for pets just as their owners would—following your instructions closely and making sure routines, diets, and comfort are maintained. I listen carefully to your guidance and welcome feedback, so you can feel confident your pets are receiving the same love and care they get from you.
About: I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I have gained experience dog sitting for friends and neighbors as early as elementary school! I love all animals from chickens to frogs, cats, and dogs! I'm a college athlete, so I will work around my school and practice schedule! Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays will be the best days for me! I have experience with many pets including chickens, turkeys, cats, and dogs. I strive to create an environment for pets to feel safe and happy!
About: I have been pet sitting for roughly 10 years. It started when I was young just caring for my friends dogs and cats when they went out of town but has evolved into a small client base that I want to expand. I have cared for mostly senor dogs, providing them with medication as it was prescribed, ensuring they were safe when outside, and updating owners on any changes in behavior and physical condition. Recently I have gotten my own dog who is now three years old and that is the most experience I had with puppies but I do know quite a bit about training and am willing to care for young dogs as well. Because she is my own dog, she must be able to come with me to overnight stays, she is very friendly with dogs, cats, and even horses!. I love dogs with all my heart and grew up with them in the house. I don't have any cats in my family but I do know how important they are to their family and I love to take care of the cats I have taken care of in the past. I truly believe our pets are part of the family and deserve care and comfort when their humans are away. I am a full time student currently so I don't have the most time in the world but I am more than happy to take a break from school work to play and walk with pets and then maybe hang out together while I study before their dinnertime! I like to get a rough idea of the pets typical schedule and stick as close to that as possible, making sure everyone is fed on time, walked when walks are needed, and generally keeping them on the same schedule they are used to! I have found this to be the best option as it gives the pets a sense of normalcy in their routine while the family is away.
About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I have administered medication for older cats and dogs, fed and rode horses, learned how to intervene safely in the event of a dog altercation, and love just spending time with pets of all types and sizes. As I kid, before everyone had a smartphone, I made fliers for dog walking and petsitting, and spread them in nearby neighborhoods. Throughout late elemtary school and middle school I did loads of dog walking and caring for pets while their owners were away. In high school my time was more consumed by schoolwork and sports, but I was still exposed to petsitting though my brother who did Rover constantly. I spent lots of time with him, and observed his tender and efficient care for the animals he looked after. Hello! I am a recent graduate from Appalachian State University with a degree in Agroecology (sustainable agriculture). In Boone I worked on a farm with livestock such as goats, chickens, and pigs. I also worked with children ages 4-14 for two years at High Country Forest WIld- an all outdoor experiential education program. I also balanced taking care of my two cats while having loads of schoolwork and trying to maintain a social life. Now I'm back home in the triangle and eager to continue working with animals, as its one of the things that brings me feel joy. Petsitting allows me a flexible job while I navigate this next chapter of my life and gives me another way to connect with the community in another way. I cherish each chance to meet everyone's furry companions & learn more about people outside of my daily rhythms. I am an avid hiker, runner, and nature lover, so am always happy to take along any pet that's down for an adventure to the nearby trails. I've watched houses with up to 7 dogs at a time, so I'm very comfortable with multiple animals and giving each one the attention they need. No one knows your pet better than you. So whatever information you would like to provide for me to know their needs while you're away would be appreciated. Such as the way they take their medication best, places they love to go, how they handle interacting with new animals/people, and any triggering behavior to look out for.
