“Caitlin did a great job with our two girls! One was recovering from a stomach surgery and Caitlin was able to administer medication and special food on last minute notice. We could tell from the pictures that she sent that our girls were comfortable and happy. Caitlin was very communicative the whole stay. We will be booking again in a few weeks! About: II’ve loved animals my whole life and have a natural gift for connecting with them—especially cats! I have extensive experience with medical care, including giving injections, liquid medications, and complex pill schedules. I also previously held a Groomer’s License in Colorado, so I am very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve cared for animals with everything from broken limbs to chronic diseases, so your pet is in very capable hands." I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walk times, medications, and bedtime habits — because I know consistency helps reduce stress. Pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, affection, playtime, and rest. Since I stay home, they’re rarely left alone and always have someone nearby to make them feel safe and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s space. I make sure feeding instructions, walk schedules, medications, and any special care needs are followed exactly as requested. I keep things tidy, provide regular updates with photos, and make sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. My goal in either setting is the same — to treat your fur baby like family and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Stemming from that belief, I do not crate the animals in my care (unless strictly necessary or requested by the client). I live right next to a fenced dog park so all dogs in my care get ample opportunity to stretch their legs. I also provide frequent potty breaks, daily walks and structured meal times.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

About: I have had pets since I was a kid. I currently have two dogs. I have been pet sitting on and off since I was a teen. I recently moved to NC and have an abundance of time since I left my corporate job! I would love to use this additional time to care for and hang with your pets! I am currently in a small apartment until we move onto our land. Due to limited space pet setting would be best in your place. I can accommodate another small dog or cat here though if needed! No fenced in yard but we walk and hike often so they get out.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. I use to volunteer at our local Shelter. I enjoy walking and playing with the dogs and giving lots of scratches and love and cuddles. I'm able to take them to appointments, feed them, etc. I currently have my precious best friends Buddy who is a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix and Cooper a Beagle, Chihuahua, Poodle mix! Buddy loves to walk in the park and play just like all our 4 legged friends and his younger brother Copper loves to do Zoomies in the house and yard, loves to kay in the sun and play with squeaky balls! I also have a cockatiel named Sora. 7 parakeets, named Sweetie, Little Foot, Baby, Neptune, Snow, Sunflower, and Millet. 1 cat named Kisa, and 1 Plecostomus or sucker fish named Archie! I love to spend time with and give lots of tender loving care to them all! I work 4 days a week but not late thankfully, so I'm always around to take care of my fur, feather, and scale, babies! We all love to play but also to learn different tricks and fun things to play with. I have a fenced in yard that my dogs have access to through a doggy door. I have a large indoor aviary for my birds, and my Sucker fish Archie has a large tank to himself!
