About: Throughout middle and high school I was a local dog sitter to several different families in my neighborhood. Now, I spend my time volunteering at the local animal shelter or pet sitting. I currently am in graduate school at Appalachian State. I am only in class Monday and Tuesdays and the rest of the week I work part time at a school. I’m able to come home in between classes to spend time with pets and let them outside. I care for pets like I would my own! I make sure that they have everything they need for their happiness and wellbeing. Dogs and cats get especially anxious when their owners leave, so I understand the importance of giving them extra love and care!

About: As your dog sitter I will do everything I can do to care for your pet like they are my own. Love all pets and have an Australian Sheppard of my own. Willing to watch over your house for the week or weekend while you are out of town on vacation or even care for your pets allowing you to have a worry free vacation. About: Hello! My name is Makayla it’s nice to meet you! I have 10 years of experience working at a lodging facilities and I currently work at the Hospitality House. During my time at Dogwood Acres, I gained my CPR certification for animals. Before moving here for college. I am an animal lover and truly enjoy taking care of animals! My family and I have rescued my cat, Iris, and my lab dog, Drake, is a trained hunting dog. I look forward to getting in contact with you and meeting your furry friends! I have gained a lot of experience with dogs and cats through working at Dogwood Acres! I have experience with properly administering medication, feeding, bathing, dog walking, and any other dog activities that you would like! **** My best friend (who works at the Bay Area Vet and worked at Dogwood Acres with me) and I usually do Rovers together (we split the payment together) which works out really perfectly since it allows us to give as much attention as possible to your animal. I have a pretty flexible schedule, my work hours depend on the day so just try to reach out as soon as possible so I can adjust accordingly! I have a fenced yard where my black lab can safety run around in. Working at Dogwood Acres has allowed me to be able to provide trained dog walks as well as supervised play time. I can also be responsible for feeding them and watching them throughout the night if necessary. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important is it to feel that your pet is in a trusted environment, I can promise you I will make their stay as safe and fun as possible!

About: I have worked Animal Rescue, Fostering, Rehabilitation, and Adoptions the last 6 years! I understand pet parents, can easily follow instructions, and will stay alert to your pet needs! I will value your pet as I would my own! I currently work remotely, so I am extremely flexible. If not house sitting, I can make as many or little stops at your house as needed. I prefer to not board animals at my home. I do not have a fenced in yard, so it is not very suitable for a dog.

“All I can say is Gad is awesome.we just completed a two week trip and Gad took care of our fur babies while we were gone . Our dogs loved him and he spent a lot of time with them. They are both senior dogs and need a lot of care . Pills twice a day etc… and Gad went over and beyond expectations. One of my dogs wasn’t eating for a couple of days and Gad even bought him chicken and grilled it on the grill for him . Well needless to say my dog ate . Gad is very respectful and very responsible. I would highly recommended Gad .”

About: Ive had pets my entire life, from amphibians to cats and dogs and even a crow. I currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats, and have always seemed to get along with even the most temperamental of fur babies. I trained my puppy calla from the time she was just a few weeks old, and now shes over a year. I did pet sitting in middle and high school, and even a couple over night sits. I will be absolutely sure to make your fur babies feel safe and cared for in your absence. I currently have 2 part time jobs, one of which I only work weekends and Wednesdays from 10-5:30. The other is a catering job, so I only work when I'm needed, and the shifts are typically around just 3 hours. I am a student at ETSU, but May through August will be much more open for me to spend time with your animals. Starting in June, my puppy will be living with me in my apartment, and I will be able to crate her and / or your animal if needed. She does get along with smaller dogs and cats as well. The apartment complex has a designated dog park. However, Im much more suited for visiting your home where your animals needs can be met more comfortably and walks as well. I do hourly walks for my own puppy, and let my cat out in our meshed in porch at my moms house

About: Hello, I'm Allison. I love animals. I started taking care of my family's pets when I was 4 years old. Animals play a huge part in my life, especially dogs. I'm a proud owner of a mix breed (Chance) and two other dogs(Loki and Prada. Who are all rescues. Chance was rescued off the side of the road with a minor head injury. Loki was rescued from a litter of pups, where he was the runt that nobody wanted. Prada was rescued from a "homeless", who could not care for her. I'm very patient and loving when it comes to the care of animals. I've worked at a animal shelter/vets office for 1 year. My services include feeding, playing, exercise, bathing, cage-less boarding, teeth brushing, and more. I'm capable of giving your Pet it's medication (oral or injection if needed). Im a stay at home mom. So I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. My schedule is pretty flexible if needed. I have a very friendly and social cat. She mostly stays in her car tree or I can put her in a separate part of the apartment. So no need to worry about your fur baby getting her. I can also crate your fur baby if needed
