About: Hi! My name is Chesnut. I’m kind and compassionate and will love caring for your furry buddy. I have grown up taking care of my family’s dogs and have two of my own for the last five years. P.s. If you have a really active dog, I love taking dogs on runs or hikes or long walks. I work from home so available all week long. On weekends my husband and I tend to go hiking, so if the dogs enjoy hikes we will take them, but if not then we can adjust our schedules. We have an unfenced yard for potty breaks (leashed), but will take the dogs to the local dog park for exercise or on leashed walks/hikes.

About: I was fortunate enough to grow up with a mother who is a dog trainer and foster-fail enthusiast, so I’ve been gathering animal care experience my whole life. There have almost always been 10+ animals in my home at any given time, and I’ve pet sit the whole house more times than I can count. Growing up, I walked neighbors’ dogs and assisted my mom’s training classes, particularly for reactive dogs and proper handling. I taught my own dog, Jojen, tricks to perform in my school talent show in third grade. I’ve learned how to administer medication, bottle feed kittens, and confidently read an animal’s body language. I also worked in a professional setting both as an assistant dog groomer and a caretaker at PetSuites while I was in high-school. Currently, I’m a wildlife biology student at Lees-McRae College, with a focus in wildlife rehabilitation. My love of animals extends far beyond just cats and dogs, so if you have any other furry or non-furry friends, I would love to meet them too! I’m available for house sitting over the weekend, and drop-ins during the week days. My busiest class days are Tuesday and Wednesday, but I’ve still been able to make drop-ins work on those days! I love animals of all shapes and sizes. The preference and routines the pet parent has established will always take precidence in how I care for an animal, but always there will be copious amounts of love put into the work!

About: I have always loved pets from a young age. Throughout my life I have had the privilege to own 3 dogs and a cat. I absolutely loved all of them! Growing up I was always expected to take care of the pets when my parents were at work or out of town. I pretty much have unlimited experience as I take care of my dogs every day. I also have experience with new dogs as I was a pet sitter for a year in high-school. I am a student athlete at Appalachian State, I run cross country and track. I may not be as flexible as others, but I make up for that with the care that I will provide when I am free! Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are my most free days. Perfect for when you need a weekend getaway, or a long day of work on Monday! I am unable to provide at home services at my place as unfortunately I live in an apartment. I will gladly take care of your pet in your home or at park, wherever you prefer! I just love animals and I can spend hours playing or just hours laying down!

About: Dogs feel at ease with me because I bring a calm, easygoing energy that helps them settle in and feel right at home. Whether your pup’s full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I meet them where they’re at. I’ve spent a lot of time with bigger breeds and feel totally comfortable handling their strength and quirks. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in school part-time in the mornings-afternoon for only about 3 hours a day or less. I don’t have any other commitments so I have a lot of free time! I live in a pet friendly environment and there are no other animals in the house. My house is usually a quiet environment and there wouldn’t be very many restrictions for your pet. I am open to doing anything in the home I need to to make your pet feel comfortable.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of personal care and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. I am the sole caregiver for my dog, Honey, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, exercise needs, feeding schedules, and recognizing changes in behavior or health. Over the years I’ve also helped many friends by dog and cat sitting, doing drop-in visits for feeding and playtime, and taking dogs on walks, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and great at following specific care instructions to keep pets on their normal routine and comfortable while their owners are away. I have experience with both active dogs who need longer walks and enrichment, as well as more laid-back pets who just want companionship and consistency. I’m also very patient and gentle, which is especially important for shy animals, younger pets still learning routines, or older pets who may need a slower pace and extra attention. Because I truly love animals, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and fun environment for them, and I make sure owners get regular updates and photos so they have peace of mind! :) Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I’m a full-time student at App State and I work as a CNA here in Boone, but I always make time for my furry friends. Taking my dog on regular walks throughout the week is already part of my schedule, and I enjoy building in extra time for feeding, play, and check-ins. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it naturally fits into my day. I focus on keeping pets comfortable and safe, and on sticking to their normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention and playtime. I clean litter boxes or handle bathroom breaks as needed, and I always keep an eye on their behavior so I can catch any signs of stress or discomfort. Whether I’m visiting a client’s home or hosting, I try to make the environment calm and predictable so each pet feels secure and cared for.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 7 years old, with hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and horses. Growing up, I was responsible not only for my own pets but also for friends’ and neighbors’ animals, which gave me experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and care needs. I have extensive experience house sitting for dogs and cats as well as barn sitting for horses, so I’m comfortable managing multiple animals and maintaining structured routines. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens who need patience and training reinforcement, as well as senior pets who require gentle handling, medication support, and extra attention. What sets me apart is my lifelong hands-on experience, reliability, and ability to adapt to each animal’s unique personality. I treat every pet like they’re my own and prioritize safety, structure, and lots of love. As a graduate student I have a flexible schedule that allows me to build pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m an early riser and am happy to provide check-ins or walks as early as 6:00 AM. I also have afternoon availability most weekdays and wide-open availability on weekends. Because I have more control over my class schedule, I’m able to adjust around clients’ needs to make sure their pets are consistently cared for. As an exercise science student, I’m very active and love bringing furry friends along for walks or runs (depending on their activity level). Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or weekend companionship, I can provide reliable, structured care that fits both their routine and yours. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I carefully follow each pet’s established routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any house rules (crate training, furniture boundaries, etc.). Consistency helps pets feel secure and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I am respectful, clean, and attentive to both the pet and the environment. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, remain aware of surroundings on walks, and closely monitor body language — especially with high-energy or reactive dogs. I create a calm, structured environment with plenty of enrichment, activity, and affection tailored to the individual pet’s personality and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would with family.

About: As your dog sitter I will do everything I can do to care for your pet like they are my own. Love all pets and have an Australian Sheppard of my own. Willing to watch over your house for the week or weekend while you are out of town on vacation or even care for your pets allowing you to have a worry free vacation. I love being outside and willing to walk dog of all sizes. Extremely flexible with my hours and we can work out a schedule to best fit you and your pets needs. I am excited to get to know you and your pet. With me your pet will definitely get love and attention. I look forward to working with you and your fur baby. I currently have two pet of my own and care for them each day with a walk with my dog in the mornings and some individual play time with each of them throughout the day. I am willing to be there for your pets while you are on vacation, I can provide whatever needs that your pets may need whale you are gone.

About: My whole life i’ve had dogs and cats. when i was little my family would breed cats and when i was 8 i got my first dog. i would always help neighbors with their pets if they were on vacation. i love animals and i really do love taking care of them! I am flexible, we can talk about it on messages and i will try and go around what you need! i am available tuesday and thursdays after 6pm! i am more flexible any other days! i will love taking them outside when they are active and hyper but i also don’t mind cuddling on the couch! i will definitely pick up after myself and i’d honestly clean your whole house while i’m at it!

About: I have owned Golden Retrievers and Dachshunds and a wide range of cats my whole life. While I’m a proclaimed cat person, I do love a good doggo I am currently a teacher assistant, which would keep me away during school hours but I am always excited to spend outside hours loving on animals. In my own household- I have a playful and needy cat to judge and entertain your buddies. I have a fenced in back yard and am in walking distance to multiple trails.
