“Aaron stayed in my home for two weeks looking after my diabetic older cat. While my cat is not on insulin, it was such a comfort for me knowing Aaron was there and he took great care of him! I believe Aaron has a way with animals and befriended my shy kitty after a day or two. I knew I had made the right decision when we returned and my cat was very content. We will definitely have Aaron cat sit for us again! He was very dependable and personable. Thank you so much!!”

“We had booked a ski trip to Beach Mountain and had to bring our German Shepherd last minute due to a recent diagnosis of epilepsy. We were too worried to leave her alone so the night before we booked Bella to sit with Lola for the day. Bella was absolutely amazing with our Lola! She was understanding of all of her medication's, emergency, rescue meds, and how to respond in the event of a seizure. While we were gone, Bella sent us pictures and updates of Lola. I could tell that she was so happy to have Bella there to keep her company! If ever, we are back in town we will be booking Bella again. I highly recommend her if you are in the area!”

About: I grew up on a non-profit (501c3) dog rescue located in Faison, NC. We are called Whiskering Pines Animal Sanctuary and we do not currently have a website due to heightened concerns of animal abandonment around our area. We see a high traffic of dogs of all shapes and sizes with a variety of different needs. We have operated since 2012 and recently obtained our 501c3 status. We work closely with our county and surround county animal shelters. I am currently enrolled in school at Appalachian State and would like to keep animal care prevalent in my life in some way. I am not currently enrolled in summer courses through ASU, leaving plenty of room for day sitting, evening sitting needs, walks, and play dates. I am not currently boarding but would be open for consideration for dogs 20lbs > only. I love animals and believe your fur babies deserve the happiest and healthiest lives possible! Adequate food, water, exercise, and human engagement. I believe most animals are capable of indicating needs well and it is my job as a caretaker to make sure those needs are met in the absence of the owner.

I am a full time student but with an easy class schedule. I am available any day and have flexible hours. I would be able to come home and care for pets at any time. I have a very clean home and safe for animals. I have a porched balcony and a nice backyard. I would be able to house animals for one day or a week!

About: I have professionally shown, trained, and groomed dogs for 8 years. From grooming pets to training service animals, I am well versed and experienced in caring for animals. I have graduated from college, and I have open availability to spend time with your pet and make them feel at home while you enjoy your vacation! I am careful to ensure that each pet gets their individual needs met daily, whether that requires multiple walks a day, one on one play time, or anything else that they may need.
