1. Aaron I.

“Aaron stayed in my home for two weeks looking after my diabetic older cat. While my cat is not on insulin, it was such a comfort for me knowing Aaron was there and he took great care of him! I believe Aaron has a way with animals and befriended my shy kitty after a day or two. I knew I had made the right decision when we returned and my cat was very content. We will definitely have Aaron cat sit for us again! He was very dependable and personable. Thank you so much!!”

2. Melissa F.

“I used Melissa for the first time recently. She was very helpful and stayed in touch about the animals regularly. I’ll definitely use her in the future.”

3. Emelia S.

“Emelia, was great with Roo. She made sure she was fed, had, water, and got her meds on time. She took Roo on walks several times a day. She sent pictures of Roo so I knew how she was doing and so I didn’t miss her quite so much. Emelia was respectful of me and my property. She asked me questions when new and responded quickly when I messaged her. I would definitely ask her to watch Roo again.”

4. Andrew L.

“Andrew stayed with our 2 dogs overnight for 10 days while we were out of the country. Andrew was a great communicator and let us know how they were doing during our trip. He took them on multiple walks, doggie parks and car rides which we permitted. The dogs were very happy, and our house was in good shape upon our return. Very thankful for Andrew's service and professionalism; I highly recommend Andrew for overnight pet sitting.”

5. Bella B.

“We had booked a ski trip to Beach Mountain and had to bring our German Shepherd last minute due to a recent diagnosis of epilepsy. We were too worried to leave her alone so the night before we booked Bella to sit with Lola for the day. Bella was absolutely amazing with our Lola! She was understanding of all of her medication's, emergency, rescue meds, and how to respond in the event of a seizure. While we were gone, Bella sent us pictures and updates of Lola. I could tell that she was so happy to have Bella there to keep her company! If ever, we are back in town we will be booking Bella again. I highly recommend her if you are in the area!”

6. Savanna B.

12. Marian G.
About: I grew up on a non-profit (501c3) dog rescue located in Faison, NC. We are called Whiskering Pines Animal Sanctuary and we do not currently have a website due to heightened concerns of animal abandonment around our area. We see a high traffic of dogs of all shapes and sizes with a variety of different needs. We have operated since 2012 and recently obtained our 501c3 status. We work closely with our county and surround county animal shelters. I am currently enrolled in school at Appalachian State and would like to keep animal care prevalent in my life in some way. I am not currently enrolled in summer courses through ASU, leaving plenty of room for day sitting, evening sitting needs, walks, and play dates. I am not currently boarding but would be open for consideration for dogs 20lbs > only. I love animals and believe your fur babies deserve the happiest and healthiest lives possible! Adequate food, water, exercise, and human engagement. I believe most animals are capable of indicating needs well and it is my job as a caretaker to make sure those needs are met in the absence of the owner.

She sent us updates and pictures and was very quick to respond whenever I messaged her to check in. She stayed at our place and was a wonderful guest. We came home to a super clean house and everything exactly as we left it. Wally was definitely super happy when he was with her and I would 1000% use Katy again to dog/house sit!”

I have graduated from college, and I have open availability to spend time with your pet and make them feel at home while you enjoy your vacation! 17. Irene C.
“Irene is a dependable dog lover! She enjoys her time with my goldendoodle, Jack, which helps him enjoy his time as well. He is usually anxious when I am gone, so I appreciate the attention and affection Irene supplies in my absence.”

18. Christy S.

“Great folks.”

19. Jonathan D.
“I have had the privilege of knowing Jack for a few years now, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the most compassionate and optimistic people I’ve ever met. I’ve personally seen him with dogs on the local greenway and animal shelter and not one has disliked him. He provides a well matched energy for any animal. He is also a previous dog and cat owner so he has experience with these animals alike”
