A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. It was so comforting to see my dog happy, relaxed, and having a blast with Lana. When my dog didn’t want to eat at first, they reached out right away and kept me posted until she finally finished her dinner—something I really appreciated as a nervous first-timer. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own (a mini schnauzer and a cattle dog). I always watch my families pets when they go out of town and they always know they’re in amazing care and are spoiled to the max when gone. They rely on bathing, feeding, walking or letting them out to run in their back yard, clean up accidents, and play with them. I do work full time unless my schedule changes so if it changes and I can always update anyone on that and go earlier if possible. During the week I am available to walk/check in between 7am to 8am before work typically unless my schedule changes and after work would be after 5:30pm unless my schedule changes and I get off earlier and weekends I am completely flexible! I can play with the dogs in your home or your backyard if you have one. Feed and water them if they’re on a schedule. Ensure gates/doors are locked/closed to ensure safety.
About: My family have always owned at least 4 dogs at a time and growing up it was our responsibility as kids to care for them. We would brush them, walk them, feed them, and bath them. “Bailey was dropped off early in the morning. This was his first experience with a daycare. Lori quickly took him for a walk after I said "I'll be back." He handled this new experience well. The visit was actually cut short due to a change in scheduling at the VA but when I picked him up, he was happy to see me, but didn't seem upset at all. “I had an emergency and needed someone to take my two rough collies on their twice-daily walks. One is a retired service dog who is deaf, and the other is a young collie with epilepsy. Because of their special needs, I was quite anxious about finding the right person. Caitlin was exactly what I needed. She had a calm, reassuring presence and was warm, gentle, and playful with both dogs. She quickly understood their individual needs. By the second day, they were eagerly waiting for her arrival. Luna, the service dog, had never “done her business” on a leash before, but with Caitlin, she had no hesitation. Seeing that I have limited mobility, Catlin asked if there were other things she could do to be helpful.. I admire her initiative and appreciated her help. I will definitely be calling on her again.”

Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm currently working part time and I will make myself available for your pet 24/7 whether it's late night potty trips outside or long walks during the day. I will care for your pets however you would like. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. About: My family have always owned at least 4 dogs at a time and growing up it was our responsibility as kids to care for them. We would brush them, walk them, feed them, and bath them. I work fully remote and am willing to travel. I would be able to give full attention to your pets. Since my job is remote, it gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was younger. I would get paid to walk dogs around my neighborhood and to check on cats. I love hanging out and loving on all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I treat and love your pets as if they are my own! Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed.
