About: I have had many types of pets since the age of 3. I’ve taken care of numerous dogs. I have a large yard and live in a quite suburban neighborhood. I have experience giving meds to dogs as well. I am available after 4:30 pm on weekdays and most weekends. I will make arrangements in advance if needed. If I am unavailable on a weekend I will update my schedule. My dog sleeps on my bed with me and has plenty of freedom in the house. I am very flexible with traveling and have my own car.

“Alyanna mught be my dogs new best friend. She was great with our german shepherd and even managed to win the hearts of our anti social cats. Took great care of the house and sent lots of updates!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been walking/caring for them as soon as I was able to! Since probably around age 15 I started dog walking and cat sitting for neighbors, family and friends. I worked at a doggy daycare / boarding facility last year which I absolutely adored. I have experience working with various breeds, ages, and needs. I’m good with pets with stranger danger, dogs that pull / are anxious around other dogs, senior dogs, puppies, sick pets, clean up, and handling medication. Have basic bathing experience but not grooming. Unfortunately, I’m currently unable to have a pup of my own so I love that I’d be able to get that love on rover! Looking to do drop ins, walks, overnights - not currently boarding but open to discussing. Love hiking and would love to bring your pup too if you’d like. See my cat care details for info on cats. I’m a total crazy cat lady with 3 of my own! I’ve been fostering for many years and am good with dog/cat combos. Open to other animal care as well (fish, birds, reptiles, rodents etc.) I’m a graduate student so my schedule is pretty flexible. Looking forward to hearing from you! 😻 I’m currently a full time graduate student evening nights and weekends are typically my most free times. I am usually unavailable Monday from 10-1, Tuesday Wednesday Friday from 830-430 and Thursday from 830-11:15 and 2-4:45. I do have cats of my own so I’m not currently boarding. Open to overnights I have 3 cats of my own that I love more than anything. I’ve been fostering for years. I rescued my last cat a year ago after she was badly abused and feral. It took less than a month for her to turn around and now she’s the sweetest baby who is always seeking cuddles. I’m clean, responsible, and flexible and will always give my 100% when caring for your babies! I am a total animal lover, and if your pet loves attention, I’m all for it & if they don’t, I know to respect it. I have bathing experience as well if you’d like me to do baths. If you’d like a more challenging walk for your pup, I’m a big hiker with my own car and would love to bring them along if they have flea/tick prevention. Also good with medication. Not currently boarding but open to having conversations if you have a smaller dog or need cat boarding.

“Carla is not only wonderful with pets she is a great human! We really enjoyed the experience of working with Carla and I know we will do so again many more times in the future. I would highly recommend her services to anyone out there looking for someone to trust with your pet.”

“Amber was absolutely lovely! Our regular cat sitter fell through, so we were a bit nervous to find someone else in a hurry. She was everything we needed and more. Very communicative, sent pics and it was obvious our cats took to her quickly. Would absolutely use again in the future. ?”

“First time Audrey watched our dogs Bailey and Bella, but it won't be the last. She is a lovely young lady, smart, articulate, and fantastic with our dogs who loved her. Communication was excellent and we loved the daily pics!”

“We are new to the area and had been struggling to find someone to watch our 75lb Pyredoodle and check on our kitty during 10 days that we would be traveling for work. After reaching out to numerous people with not much luck, we met Sabrina and were instantly relieved. She was more than willing to house-sit and keep an eye on both our pup and our kitty and it was clear that our animals loved her. While we were away, she sent us photos and updates to help keep our minds at ease. She was quick to reply to any texts/messages we had sent her when we were missing our furbabes and we are looking forward to working with her again. Highly recommend her services!”

About: I grew up with a dog for the majority of my childhood, and he was such a light in our lives! My fiancee and I are surrounded by dogs in our extended family, but do not have any of our own just yet. I am excited to offer my time and attention to a family who needs an extra hand. I am a full time nanny for an infant, and a student in an SLP Program. I am available for services before 8:15 and after 5:00 pm on weekdays, and full days on weekends if I don't have any prior obligations that I've committed to. We have a small yard that I can bring the dog leashed, and a walking friendly neighborhood in Newington. For the client's home, I am happy to oblige to the systems in place that work for you and your household!

Over 100 pet parents in Newington have booked house sitting
Newington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Brooke did an amazing job. She came over beforehand and met with us and moxie which was super helpful. She gave us updates and sent us pictures and videos every day. This was our first time using rover and it can be nerve wracking leaving your pet for the first time with someone new but we will definitely book again with Brooke. Highly recommend as a pet sitter and house guest!

We are so fortunate to have such an energetic and responsible pet sitter in Jocelyn! We know she is a busy grad student and works a lot but she is our go to person when we go away to stay with our active dogs! She plays ball itht hem and gives them lots of love, gives our big guy his allergy meds and generally makes them so happy when she stays with them. She left our house neat and our dogs fed and had their bathroom breaks before we got home. They were happy and calm when we got back and Jocelyn left us a cute drawing of the pups on her welcome home note! She is great and very conscientious!. Thanks Jocelyn!

Very responsive to my messages, she was on time and my pets loved her. She was very sweet and very nice when I met her and she did everything I asked her without an Issue. She stayed overnight and was very respectful. I will be primarily using her going forward. Loved!!

It was our first time using an in-home sitter so we were a bit hesitant, but Josh was fantastic. He made sure to ask about our normal routine and what was important to us, and we came home to 2 happy dogs and a house just as clean as we left it, and got pictures, videos, and updates daily.

Brianna was wonderful with our Doberman, making sure she got plenty of exercise everyday. She was also very accommodating to our changing needs. We received happy pictures of our dog daily. It’s clear Brianna loves dogs and we would love to work with her again.

Elena was a great sitter for our dog for an overnight stay. She was very responsive throughout the whole booking process, and whenever I messaged her during the stay. She kept our dog active, and sent several pictures of a happy dog. We would gladly book Elena again.
