About: I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family since I was a kid. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats. I can’t walk past a dog on the street without asking politely to pet them! Two years ago I rescued my dog, Stanley, who is a 24 lb terrier mix. He was abused and took a very long time to warm up, but after a lot of patience and love he’s now thriving and the best boy. I learned a lot with Stanley and feel equipped to work with shyer dogs. Stanley also likes hanging out with other dogs and would enjoy some company around the house! I currently work from home full time, so my availability is flexible. Stanley and I would be happy to have you hang out with us at my place (I’d recommend a meet and greet first). Or, I could stay at your place with your pet if that’s better for them, as long as I can have access to the WiFi so I can work. I live close to a nature trail that I take Stanley on daily, and we’re very familiar with the neighborhood. I can take frequent walk breaks and crate your pet if needed.
About: I am the current owner of an 10 week old Rough Collie and a two year old Dalmatian Lab mix. Our fur babies are just as important as our human one! My family also has solid experience with senior pets. I have had many and varied pets over the years: cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs, birds and have loved them all! I have a fenced runner connected to the pets' room that allows them to safely go in and out whenever they want. You can bring their bed or any special toys. I foster rescued dogs from PR that came to Pittsburgh looking for a second chance of life, and the money earn through Rover is used to cover their health and traveling expenses. I work from home, and my office is in the room where they will spend their stay, so they will be with me most of the day, and they will be able to play with my own dogs under supervision. If they are potty trained and well behaved, they will have permission to access all the house. To be able to satisfy you pup's needs, I will ask you to write down your special instructions and promise I will follow them as written. You will receive a lot of daily pictures of your furry friends.
