“Yan was excellent! This was my first time away from my new pup, but she assured me through pictures, videos, and constant updates my boy was very well taken care of. She went above and beyond to give him the (much needed) attention he demanded and listened carefully to my recommendations and instructions. I highly recommend Yan and thank her for making this a very good first time away from my puppy!”

“Barrett was an amazing dog sitter! Our dogs had a wonderful time going on walks and swimming in his pool. We were sent photos and updates throughout our trip. It was very comforting knowing my dogs were with someone who really took care of them. Thank you again!”

“Jocelynn and Kathryn took great care of our senior ladies on short notice. We received photo updates and the girls came back to us in great shape. We sincerely appreciate their help and the peace of mind we enjoyed while away.”

“We booked Laura short notice, and she was awesome! It’s the first time we’d left our dog with someone that wasn’t a close friend, so we were really nervous about it, but it turned out great! She sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated daily, and most importantly loved and took care of our little Jelly Bean like she was her own. We will definitely use her again!”

“Carlos and Claudia were fantastic pet sitters. They were very attentive with our dog, and provided photos/videos daily. Their facility was clean and provided great interaction and exercise with other dogs. Highly recommend them!”

“Amazing family! Took the best care of my dog! Kept me updated the whole time with pictures and videos! Very sweet, loving and responsible! I would highly recommend this sitter to anyone, your pup will be in great hands, no doubt! Victoria R”

“Darlene was very welcoming from the start. She is experienced with dogs and is a real dog lover. My Nene seemed very happy when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Darlene and will definitely use again in the future.”

“Shayna stayed with Thomas and Lyndsay for a little over a week. I received frequent pictures of our girlie who seemingly made herself right at home. My initial apprehension over leaving her quickly subsided. Thomas and Lyndsay treated her as one of their own. I highly recommend Thomas and Lyndsay for dog/pet care; a home away from home!!”

“I have never left my 2 frenchies for a long period of time - so this visit was extra hard on me, especially since I was going on a cruise with limited contact. Sam was great with my babies, however! I got regular updates whenever I had service, and I could tell they were having fun and loving their time with her and her babies! Definitely will be booking her again for my next trip! 🖤”

“Heidi was very awesome to work with! My boys came back super happy and even appeared to be a little sad they had to leave Heidi which lets me know she took amazing care of them! Great communication and was super responsive sending updates and pictures all throughout their stay either her. Will definitely be rebooking with Heidi in the future!”

“Megan was very kind and caring towards our cat. But had cut our visit short because the cat did not adjust well being away from home. Megan gave us updated texts and kept us informed. Would use her again if we had a better cat.”

“Erika was phenomenal and is definitely a dog lover - not just a dog sitter!! She kept me updated on Bella’s stay which was lengthy, sent pictures and I trust her totally! I will call Erika going forward for all our travel and am sure Bella loves her new home away from home!”

“Nene loved his time with Mandi and Benji. I enjoyed receiving updates which also included the cutest photos and videos. I knew Nene was in good hands with Mandi and I would definitely use her services again. I believe Mandi gave him the best care and made in part of the family. While away, I felt confident Nene was in good hands.”

“Provided last minute care for my two dogs. Had no issues (or health issues) and loved the pictures I got of them. Will definitely return to them for future boardings, my dogs were in heaven!”

“Debra is the best! My goldens had a wonderful visit at her lovely home and enjoyed their time with her fun Boxer, Duke. I’m new to the area and it was comforting knowing that they were in such good care while I was away on a business trip. Highly recommend!”

“They are awesome! The home is welcoming and safe and they were very caring with my little Doxie’s first time being boarded. I now consider them the only people I will leave my dog with…I highly and confidently recommend them! 5 stars for sure”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Naples Park
Taylor is the best. She has not only been incredibly flexible with my chaotic schedule, she is kind and sweet with me, just as much as she has been with my dogs. Going through a lot right now in my personal life and having Taylor's help with my fur babies has been refreshing and much needed.

We left our Cavalier with Mia for 5 nights and had an excellent experience overall. She had excellent communication and always kept us updated on how our pup was doing through messages and pictures. We had a meet and greet before the stay which gave us a lot of confidence Mia would take great care of our dog and our dog would be comfortable in her house and yard. I would highly recommend Mia and will definitely use her for our future boarding needs.

Melanie and her family loved our big boy as if he was one of them. I felt so comfortable leaving him with her. She sent many wonderful photos, and in each one Bodhi looked like he was having the time of his life. He came home worn out from having so much fun. HIGHLY recommended! So grateful for dog lovers like Melanie in this world.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Naples Park home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Naples Park.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Naples Park sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
