“Damaris was very responsive, communicative, and flexible. We had a very last minute trip come up and she was able to accommodate us the same day! She made us feel very comfortable leaving our pup with her. She sent plenty of pictures and videos to put our minds at ease and always let us know what was going on that day. I would definitely recommend her to sit your fur babies!”

“Cindy was amazing!!! My fur baby clearly got lots and lots of love from Cindy and her family members … and her two dogs were friendly and gentle and welcoming to my dog who is usually a bit timid with other dogs. Highly recommend Cindy!!”

“Yanjing was fantastic! Our dog Marina stayed for 12 days and had a blast. Marina was well cared for by Yanjing and family. Yanjing is a great communicator, speedy responses, posted pics and easy going. Marina cannot wait to come back!”

“Salenia was wonderful with our girl! She, Lucy, and her family are the hosts with the most! We got so many great pictures of our dog having fun while we were out of town, and it was clear she was having a ball. Definitely will be using Salenia in the future!”

“I just picked up Izzy from a 6 day stay with Idalmis. I am new to Naples & it was difficult for us to leave our fur baby w/strangers…however Idalmis was very sweet & accommodating from the beginning. While we were away she sent me pictures almost every day along w/a couple sentences reassuring me that he was doing well. It was comforting knowing she worked from home…She has a big yard for him to play & I was happy to hear he was w/one other dog…or two- i was reluctant to send him to a home where there were 4-5 dogs…Izzy seemed his old self when I picked him up-he looked clean & happy… & exhausted. TY Idalmis… we will see you again I am sure. 🐾🐾”

“Barrett was an amazing dog sitter! Our dogs had a wonderful time going on walks and swimming in his pool. We were sent photos and updates throughout our trip. It was very comforting knowing my dogs were with someone who really took care of them. Thank you again!”

“Heidi was very awesome to work with! My boys came back super happy and even appeared to be a little sad they had to leave Heidi which lets me know she took amazing care of them! Great communication and was super responsive sending updates and pictures all throughout their stay either her. Will definitely be rebooking with Heidi in the future!”

“If there was a doggie sitter heaven, it would be at Jacqueline’s. I cant thank Jacque & husband enough for taking care of Buddy. I would honestly not ever want to Have anybody else take care of my dogs other than them. I can truly feel by the demeanor of Buddy when he comes home that while we were away, he was just at his 2nd home. Thank you so much!”

Monte absolutely loved staying at Emmy's house and had an absolute blast with her pups! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos of him enjoying himself in their amazing yard. We already rebooked with her and absolutely love the peace of mind that she provided for me and Monte. Thank you so much!!

Cammeron did a wonderful job watching our dog Timmy. She took care of him as if he was her own and Timmy seemed very happy. Communication with pictures was very comforting and the property was perfect for dogs. I would definitely use her in the future to watch Timmy again!

Cindy provided a wonderful environment for our dog Grace. Grace had so much fun and enjoyed playing with all the dogs. We loved all the photos Cindy provided to us to see how Grace was doing. We can't thank Cindy enough for all the great care she provided for our pups!

Charles did an awesome job with Duke, my male Rottweiler. Charles texted me regularly with updates and pictures on how Duke was doing. Duke’s visit was for 4 days and it went very well!!! Duke was able to exercise in Charles’s fenced in back yard. I would definitely book Charles again when I need to board Duke.

96% of sitters in Vineyards can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Vineyards.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
