“Anna was great with our dogs. Even our shy one warmed up to her. And she helped taking care of a sudden broken water pipe on the water heater. She went above and beyond. We would definitely ask her to watch our dogs again. And our house for that matter. Thank you so much.”

About: 🐾 August Availability! 🐾 I have lots of availability throughout August and am happy to accommodate weekday or weekend walks, drop-ins, and last-minute requests! Starting August 31st: I will only be available on weekends, so if you’re looking for a regular weekend sitter or need help with a weekend trip, I’d love to meet you and your pup! Ideally, I prefer to meet you and your dog before the first walk or drop-in so we can go over everything and make sure everyone is comfortable. That said, I’m also happy to consider last-minute requests when my schedule allows. I have experience with a variety of breeds and sizes, as well as senior dogs, including administering pills. I’ve been fortunate to care for and walk lots of wonderful dogs, as you can see on my profile! Please feel free to message me with any questions. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Use code RACHEL21574 for $40 off your first Rover booking with any sitter! I have a very flexible schedule throughout August and am happy to accommodate what works best for your family! Starting September 1st, my availability will be limited to weekends. I always try to maintain your dog’s typical routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable, happy, and at home while you’re away. When walking your dog, I generally avoid interactions with unfamiliar dogs or people unless you specifically ask otherwise. For their safety and comfort, I also do not take dogs to dog parks unless you request it. If your dog prefers the backyard or you would rather they not go on walks, I am more than happy to let them enjoy some time outside in the yard instead!
“Kaiya is the best! My puppy really loves to see her and gets so excited when she comes! She takes such great care of him! I wish this app would let me tip her more. I will have to just give her cash next time. Thanks Kaiya!”

“Dan was amazing with our dog, Ulu. He kept her for a week while we traveled internationally, and he sent us daily pics/videos/updates which made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely be using his services again!”

“All I can say is WOW! We’ve had some wonderful dog sitters in the past but Ana has topped them all! She took amazing care of our two small dogs and even won over our 13 year old maltipoo who can be as finicky as a cat can be. Ana left our home cleaner than we left it and left us beautiful pictures of our furry babies. I was pretty much speechless when we arrived home. We highly highly recommend Ana. She is the very best choice to take care of your furry babies!”

About: I was born and raised in South Africa. Then lived a long time years in England. I've always had pets. In SA we had a farm, and was on the farm every weekend, so I have experience with pets and farm animals. My own doggy died February and I'd love to love someone else's pets and get my pet fix lol. I'm a mature woman that had a professional business for years, so I am totally trustworthy. I can stay in your house, look after your pets, get the post, make sure the pool cleaner arrives, dust and keep everything in good order whilst you are away. My girls have flown the nest and I live alone, so Im totally flexible and can fit in with your schedule. I’ll collect post, take trash out, water plants and more I cannot board your pet, but I can stay with them at your house, or pop in regularly to see them. Just tell me what works for you
“Cara is awesome! She did an overnight with my dog, effectively communicated and sent pictures throughout the stay. I felt my dog was in very good hands. Highly recommend her!”

“David house sat our 120 lb. German Shepherd for a week. During that week, we got daily updates with pictures of Max playing in the back yard. The house was clean and Max was in great upon arriving home. I have already inquired about future dog / house sitting this summer. I would not hesitate calling David and asking him to house sit Max.”

“Highly recommend Athena as your sitter! She is kind and thoughtful. Very responsible. She responded to my messages almost immediately every time I reached out and that was so important to me. My house was cleaner when I got home then before I left, lol… I will absolutely use her services again!!”

“Christian is the best house sitter ever! Kobe and Sam love him. He sent us photos and took them for walks regularly. We will book him for all future trips we may schedule. Thank you, Christian!”

About: Hi! I’m Joana, a reliable and caring pet sitter based in Naples, FL. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including overnight and vacation care for friends and neighbors’ pets. I always make it a priority to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide attentive care by making sure pets are fed on schedule, exercised, given plenty of attention, and treated like family. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets and enjoy building trust with animals of all personalities. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in a loving and dependable environment. My schedule may vary due to my part-time job, but I do my best to stay flexible and accommodate pet owners’ needs. If I’m working a morning shift, I’m typically available in the mornings until 10 AM. On days I’m not working, I usually have full morning availability. If I’m not scheduled for a morning shift, I’m generally available until 1 PM in the afternoon, and on my days off I’m available throughout the entire day. Feel free to reach out to ask about my availability for the week — I’ll always do my best to help! :) I have a fenced yard and two babies. My dog is super friendly and love meeting new animals, your pet will never feel lonely with my pets :)
“Leslie knows dogs, adjusting immediately to our skittish pup with all the blustery big barking, gently bringing him closer to give reassuring pats and cuddles. We appreciate her upbeat approach that speaks to our rescued lovey-dovey's needs, especially for flat-out running at the Dog Park. An excellent listener, Leslie asks the important questions about exercise and feeding habits that set our minds completely at ease. Thank you, Leslie!”

About: Hiya :) I’m a proud English Bulldog mom, so patience comes naturally… any bulldog owner knows they're full of personality (and a little stubbornness!). I've also worked with reactive dogs and believe every pup deserves calm, compassionate care that's tailored to them. You'll get plenty of photo updates, and if your dog loves to be active, don't be surprised if I send a Strava map of our walk or run too! I’m currently part-time! I can be there for you on weekend trips, evenings, and am willing to be a little flexible if your little guy (or gal) needs a spot during the week. I have a bulldog of my own that is super friendly! I’m fine administering medications, or if your dog has particularly special needs. I live local to several parks and can take your pup on long walks, just let me know what your little one needs!
“Amber was fantastic! We knew she was the perfect fit for our sweet boy during the initial meeting, as she immediately was speaking with him and showing all the love. We very much liked that she stayed in our home while we were away, as he is accustomed to having someone working from home about 50% of the month. It gave us a lot of relief knowing that he had genuine caring company while we were away, especially during the start of the storm season. She also sent us pictures of our handsome boy so we were able to still see his squishy face while we were in Australia. We will definitely be booking with Amber again in the future!!”

“Danielle was a true lifesaver for us as she was able to watch our dog Zella at the last minute when another sitter (booked thru Rover) did not show up after we had already left town. More amazing was that she was able to watch her for the entire 3 weeks especially thru the holidays and we are forever grateful to her for the care she gave Zella. She sent us daily updates and photos throughout and gave us tremendous peace of mind the entire time. We highly recommend Danielle to others and will definitely use her in the future without hesitation. She is truly awesome!!”

Jillyn is an incredible dog sitter!! She took great care of not only my pup but also my home. I didn't worry about a thing while I was out of town. I would definitely recommend Jillyn and she will be the first person I'd reach out to for my future dog sitting needs!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter to love on both our pups while we were away. He was very communicative and it was clear the dogs were loved on and well cared for. He took them on lots of walks and made sure they didn’t over do it in the hot weather. One of our dogs also needed meds and he had zero issues with it. He also went the extra mile and cleaned our home and after himself. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and we will 1000% be booking with him in the future!

Federica was great! She came down with a fever and took Erin to her house to better take care of her. She sent pictures and kept in contact with us during this time. Erin came home worn out and in good spirit from playing with Federica's dog. We would employ Federica again!

All I can say is WOW! She is the very best choice to take care of your furry babies!

Daniel was the absolute best!! He took such great care of our puppy! He kept us up to date the entire time we were gone on our trip. We loved his attention to detail and how he even trained our pup and socialized her while we were gone. We will request Daniel anytime we need a pet sitter!

Jane has a big heart for our pups, even our more difficult little girl, Lucy! We thank her for her loving care while we traveled out of state again. They miss her already and our little girl misses the belly rubs Jane so lovingly gave her. Thank you Jane for having such a heart for animals even the difficult ones! Bless you! Kathy B.
Loida came to our home to stay with our two mini-schnauzers. I was nervous leaving them because it was well before Covid when we last did AND they go everywhere with us! But Loida came to the house and she struck me as a very responsible young women. It turns out I was 100% correct in placing my faith in her. We got many pics and the house was immaculate when we returned! Plants watered, trash removed and the pups happy to see us but clearly well cared for. what a find she is!! I can not recommend her more highly!! I would use her for ANY service she offers! Very responsible !!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Naples on Rover is $61.05 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 820 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Naples. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Naples walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Naples maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Naples choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Naples. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
