“Daniel is amazing with all our pets (2dogs - one very senior - and one cat). Everything was perfect. He provided videos and pictures and kept us informed us of all the animals comings and goings. Can't recommend enough!!!”

“Highly recommend Athena as your sitter! She is kind and thoughtful. Very responsible. She responded to my messages almost immediately every time I reached out and that was so important to me. My house was cleaner when I got home then before I left, lol… I will absolutely use her services again!!”

“Kaiya was amazing! She was so communicative and caring. We have two medium/large dogs and she stayed at our house with them. It was clear from her photo updates that the dogs felt right at home with her! We will definitely reach out to Kaiya for our future pet sitting needs.”

Making them feel most comfortable is top priority. Will accommodate any special requests.
“Danielle was a true lifesaver for us as she was able to watch our dog Zella at the last minute when another sitter (booked thru Rover) did not show up after we had already left town. More amazing was that she was able to watch her for the entire 3 weeks especially thru the holidays and we are forever grateful to her for the care she gave Zella. She sent us daily updates and photos throughout and gave us tremendous peace of mind the entire time. We highly recommend Danielle to others and will definitely use her in the future without hesitation. She is truly awesome!!”

“Ava has such a beautiful kind spirit. Her care and compassion for animals is immediately evident and much appreciated. I enjoyed the communication while Ava stayed with my Elvis and Roo. Dependable and hardworking! Will definitely book with Ava again in the future.”

About: As the proud owner of a beloved Chihuahua for 17 years, I understand that pets are truly family and deserve patient, loving care. I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and special needs, including seniors, puppies, and pets requiring extra attention. I have a calm, gentle approach that helps anxious animals feel safe and comfortable, and I’m confident administering medications and providing attentive care for pets with medical needs. I currently serve as the Treasurer of my HOA, where I successfully advocated for and helped establish policies allowing emotional support animals in our community. I treat every pet with the same compassion, respect, and care I would want for my own. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my current lifestyle because I have a very flexible schedule and the ability to dedicate my full attention to your pets and home. I’m currently between professional opportunities, which allows me the time and availability to provide consistent companionship, walks, playtime, medication administration, and attentive care throughout the day. I truly enjoy being present with animals and love creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while their owners are away. Your pet’s routine, happiness, and well-being will always be my priority. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when they can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. When caring for your dog in your home, I prioritize safety, consistency, and lots of love. I’m comfortable with crate training, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, senior care, special needs, and administering medications when needed. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, habits, and comfort levels so I can provide personalized care while you’re away. I will treat your home with the same respect and care I would want for my own, keeping your pet safe, happy, and well cared for every step of the way.
“My boyfriend and I are so happy we found Dannie to watch our 8 month old puppy. This was our first time leaving him with a dog sitter so we were a little nervous, but Dannie made our trip relaxed! I knew they’d do well together when my puppy loved her from the first meet and greet. She sent multiple messages and pictures throughout the day, updating us on how much fun they were having and just to say hi. It was comforting having her be so communicative. She followed our directions with our puppy (we have specific things we do for him) and she did them no problem. She also left the house clean and neat, which was appreciated! She’s also very calm and sweet, which was needed for our sometimes crazy puppy. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: My name is Alexandra and I am 38 years old and recently just moved to Naples. I currently have a cavachon and she is very adaptable to other animals. I also have a cat who is a total lovebug. I adore all dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. My schedule is extremely flexible. I am willing to bathe or give medication. I live for animals. I don't have any children. It is just my dog, cat and me so I have plenty of room and time to spend with furry friends! Please contact me anytime. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! My job is solely to take care of animals. This has been my lifelong dream for a long time. They are my world. Animals are what get me out of bed and outside for fresh air and exercise. I have sidewalks and plenty of grass in my complex. I live in a condo and I have mainly hardwood floors so it's ok if your animal has an accident.
“Gabriela loved on our two cats with daily visits and did a fantastic job. She sent photos, was prompt and very helpful. We are grateful to have found her and will definitely be having her care for our kitties again.”

About: Hi! I’m Joana, a reliable and caring pet sitter based in Naples, FL. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including overnight and vacation care for friends and neighbors’ pets. I always make it a priority to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide attentive care by making sure pets are fed on schedule, exercised, given plenty of attention, and treated like family. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets and enjoy building trust with animals of all personalities. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in a loving and dependable environment. My schedule may vary due to my part-time job, but I do my best to stay flexible and accommodate pet owners’ needs. If I’m working a morning shift, I’m typically available in the mornings until 10 AM. On days I’m not working, I usually have full morning availability. If I’m not scheduled for a morning shift, I’m generally available until 1 PM in the afternoon, and on my days off I’m available throughout the entire day. Feel free to reach out to ask about my availability for the week — I’ll always do my best to help! :) I have a fenced yard and two babies. My dog is super friendly and love meeting new animals, your pet will never feel lonely with my pets :)
About: I have a lot of availability for the month of August. Ideally, I would prefer to meet prior to walking your dog or dropping in, but I am also open to any last minute requests. I have experience with a variety of breeds and different sized dogs. Additionally, I have experience with senior dogs, including administering pills. I have been fortunate to watch and walk a lot of dogs, as you can see on my profile! Please, feel free to message me any questions! Use code: RACHEL21574 for $40 your first Rover booking (with any sitter). I have a very flexible schedule and I am happy to accommodate what works best for your family! Generally, I try to replicate the dogs typical schedule to make them feel as comfortable as possible. When walking your dog, I generally avoid letting other dogs or humans say "hi" to your dog. Additionally, while dog sitting I do not take pups to dog parks - unless you specifically would like me to. I am also happy to let your dog in the yard if you prefer they not go on walks.
“Amber was great to work with while she stayed in our home with our three dogs. She loved on them all weekend and we could tell the dogs were happy and much more comfortable at home than at a kennel.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Naples is $60

Jillyn is an incredible dog sitter!! She took great care of not only my pup but also my home. I didn't worry about a thing while I was out of town. I would definitely recommend Jillyn and she will be the first person I'd reach out to for my future dog sitting needs!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter to love on both our pups while we were away. He was very communicative and it was clear the dogs were loved on and well cared for. He took them on lots of walks and made sure they didn’t over do it in the hot weather. One of our dogs also needed meds and he had zero issues with it. He also went the extra mile and cleaned our home and after himself. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and we will 1000% be booking with him in the future!

Federica was great! She came down with a fever and took Erin to her house to better take care of her. She sent pictures and kept in contact with us during this time. Erin came home worn out and in good spirit from playing with Federica's dog. We would employ Federica again!

All I can say is WOW! We’ve had some wonderful dog sitters in the past but Ana has topped them all! She took amazing care of our two small dogs and even won over our 13 year old maltipoo who can be as finicky as a cat can be. Ana left our home cleaner than we left it and left us beautiful pictures of our furry babies. I was pretty much speechless when we arrived home. We highly highly recommend Ana. She is the very best choice to take care of your furry babies!

Daniel was the absolute best!! He took such great care of our puppy! He kept us up to date the entire time we were gone on our trip. We loved his attention to detail and how he even trained our pup and socialized her while we were gone. We will request Daniel anytime we need a pet sitter!

Jane has a big heart for our pups, even our more difficult little girl, Lucy! We thank her for her loving care while we traveled out of state again. They miss her already and our little girl misses the belly rubs Jane so lovingly gave her. Thank you Jane for having such a heart for animals even the difficult ones! Bless you! Kathy B.
Loida came to our home to stay with our two mini-schnauzers. I was nervous leaving them because it was well before Covid when we last did AND they go everywhere with us! But Loida came to the house and she struck me as a very responsible young women. It turns out I was 100% correct in placing my faith in her. We got many pics and the house was immaculate when we returned! Plants watered, trash removed and the pups happy to see us but clearly well cared for. what a find she is!! I can not recommend her more highly!! I would use her for ANY service she offers! Very responsible !!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Naples on Rover is $61.05 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 815 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Naples. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Naples walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Naples maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Naples choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Naples. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
