“Second time using Daniel, this time to come over to my house to let Meatball out for a walk while I was working a 12 hour shift. Everything worked out well!”

About: Hii! I’m a part time college student and I love to pet sit when I’m back home. I’ve had pets my whole entire life so I feel like I can consider myself very experienced. I manly grew up with dogs, which are my favorite, but I do adore cats and all other pets as well. I’m good with both small and large dogs, I can carry pretty heavy. I will make sure to give your pet my undivided attention and care at all times. I’m able to provide walks, playtime, giving medication, and anything else your pet needs. I have a lot of free time since I’m not in school, so I will be able to take care of your pet in any time range! I love morning and evening walks so any time for pet walking will work. I allow my pets anywhere in my home including beds and couches and I especially love to lay with them in a comfy spot. I will definitely respect any rules of your home and where you would and would not like your pet to be because everyone has different preferences . I will also be able to clean up any messes that your pet may make.
About: I have grown up around both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Always was ready to help care for the family pets whether it was feeding, walking, bathing or simply loving. Family and friends have often asked me to watch their pets and I've always had a great bond with many cats and dogs over the years. I pour everything into caring for them and its something I'm very proud of and enjoy doing. Some of my longer term clients include caring for senior dogs on multiple medications and special needs and have done a lot of vet appointments on behalf of the clients too. I currently work as a freelance photographer on the side so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily fit drop ins, walks and feeding around any potential photography jobs I might have which normally last an hour or so and a lot of work is done from home too. I would always be there overnight if I'm house sitting so your fur baby won't be left alone. I always ensure anything dangerous to your fur baby is out of the way. If needed I can crate your dog. Whatever safety measure you request I will do it to ensure the best for your cat or dog.

“Kimberly was exceptional with my baby boys! Both dogs loved seeing her and going for walks with her. Kimberly was punctual, sent updates everyday, and very trustworthy. I lived my experience with her service and the dogs did too! 😊🥰. I definitely recommend giving Kimberly a try!”

“I would 100% recommend Claudia to anyone. She communicated well, even sending multiple pictures and videos after the dog walks. She was punctual and always on time, and very flexible. Claudia went above and beyond spending some quality time hanging out with my dog and giving her special attention. I will definitely choose her again and am so grateful for finding her on Rover.”

About: I am a huge pet lover, growing up with big dogs my whole life. I would love to help you by walking yours while you’re at work or on a short trip I work from home with flexibility during the day and lots of evening/weekend availability. I can spend 30 minutes walking or playing with your pet during the day I walked dogs in high school and college and having a cat of my own I totally understand the importance of security and being responsible with pets!

“Alec was punctual, very polite and Oliver loves him! I am going to use him regularly for his services. Our first overnight is next week and I will update the review! Thank you Alec!”

“Chase is awesome!!! My puppy absolutely loves him! He goes out of his way on walks to make her happy by running with her! That really helps wear her out (she has a ton of energy)! He always writes a detailed summary with how she did in the walk, including all her pee and poop breaks, as well as lots of cute pictures of her! He's always super nice to my boyfriend and I, and super responsive to messages through the app! I couldn't be happier with the service, super recommend!!!”

“Madison was so good with Jax, and he really enjoyed her! I would definitely recommend Madison if you need a pet sitter. She sent lots of photos videos, and updated me on how he was. She knows what she’s doing, and I will trust my pup Jax with her again in the future!”

“Alessandra did a great job walking Max yesterday. He looked very happy when I got home and I could see on the app exactly where he walked and how many times which I appreciate. She was considerate, caring, and had a professional attitude. I would hire her again.”

About: I have had a dog in my household my whole life. We have been owners of Sheepdogs, Weimaraners, and currently Shih Tzus. I believe that dogs can recognize whether a person is genuine and good-hearted. Most say that dogs always seek me out in a group of people and for that, I am more than lucky. I go above and beyond for these animals. I can see their innocence in their eyes, that makes my heart melt. It would be a pleasure and honor for me to be your next choice to care for your pet, a role I take with huge importance and responsibility. No question is too crazy or small, and I am more than ready to obliged whatever details you need to be added in. Looking forward to getting to know and your furry friends. You will not be disappointed with your choice of me!

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including high-energy dogs, shy dogs, and older pets who need a gentler pace. I’m very attentive to routines and details, so I make sure each pet gets the exercise, attention, and care they’re used. What sets me apart is my reliability and strong attention to detail. I work in healthcare, so I’m very comfortable following instructions closely, monitoring for changes in behavior, and communicating clearly with owners. If your pet has specific feeding schedules, medications, or special routines, I’m happy to follow them carefully. I am currently on a break between finishing my last job and starting school, so I am free all day every day for animal loving! I have a fenced in yard and a gated pool. I have no other animals in the house but lots of baby gates to keep pets out of any places they can’t go!
“Tamesha did an excellent job with my pups, Layla & Hooch. She communicated very well, & was punctual on each day. I highly recommend Tamesha for all your pet's needs !!!”

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Naples. On Rover:
- 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
