About: I have grown up around both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Always was ready to help care for the family pets whether it was feeding, walking, bathing or simply loving. Family and friends have often asked me to watch their pets and I've always had a great bond with many cats and dogs over the years. I pour everything into caring for them and its something I'm very proud of and enjoy doing. Some of my longer term clients include caring for senior dogs on multiple medications and special needs and have done a lot of vet appointments on behalf of the clients too. I currently work as a freelance photographer on the side so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily fit drop ins, walks and feeding around any potential photography jobs I might have which normally last an hour or so and a lot of work is done from home too. I would always be there overnight if I'm house sitting so your fur baby won't be left alone. I always ensure anything dangerous to your fur baby is out of the way. If needed I can crate your dog. Whatever safety measure you request I will do it to ensure the best for your cat or dog.

About: As someone who has two dogs myself, I know how important it is to have a trust worthy person interacting with my pets. I always grew up with at least one dog or cat in my household so I have a lot of experience interacting with dogs. I’ve also spent my time volunteering with an organization that trains future assistant dogs before relocating from St Louis. I work remotely full-time so I have a lot of flexibility within the week to do check-ins in your home. I have no issues with keeping weekends open for longer check-ins as well. For check-ins, I’m very open to what your needs are for your pet. I have no issues taking your dog for a walk, regardless of their on leash training. I have experience with crating dogs as well if needed.

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. In the past Ive dealt more with larger zoo animals like wolves and lynx's but Im always a sucker for some cute dogs. Im currently working mid week, Im available for boarding at any time however during M,T,Th,F bathroom breaks will be limited to 4-8 hours. During weekends and Wednesdays Ill be available to give your furry friends all the attention they need throughout the day. I live in a condo with no designated yard however there is an unfenced yard available for use and dogs will be taken on frequent walks, at least 2 times a day but this varies on your dogs needs. Im open to all dog sitting styles so if you like your dog crated at night or left to roam around just let me know. If your dog has specific preferences or needs please just specify before dropping them off.

Currently, my availability is limited to the evenings and weekends :) Some of my background… I began pet sitting in my own home as a child, where I learned the basics of animal care and behavior through my dog, two cats, and tortoise. My care experience became more comprehensive as they reached old age which translated well as I began looking after the pets of friends and neighbors by walking, feeding, medicating, and of course giving their animals lots of attention while they were away. As my professional career shifted toward wildlife research and handling, my experience in animal care increased significantly. I spent eight months out of this past year working as a pet care tech at a cage-free doggy day care and boarding facility, where I handled all different sizes, ages, and demeanors of dogs in groups of 10-25 animals. I became very effective in evaluating dog behavior in order to mitigate negative interactions in the groups and monitor any changes in their health while they were under my care. On top of this, I spent time bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing, feeding, and playing with dogs every single day. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages and I will see to their medical and behavioral needs as directed by you-the owner!
