About: I’m someone who truly believes pets are family. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and for the past four years I’ve had my own sweet girl by my side. She’s incredibly friendly and gets along with every dog—no matter their size, personality, or energy level. About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. In the past Ive dealt more with larger zoo animals like wolves and lynx's but Im always a sucker for some cute dogs. Im currently working mid week, Im available for boarding at any time however during M,T,Th,F bathroom breaks will be limited to 4-8 hours. During weekends and Wednesdays Ill be available to give your furry friends all the attention they need throughout the day. I live in a condo with no designated yard however there is an unfenced yard available for use and dogs will be taken on frequent walks, at least 2 times a day but this varies on your dogs needs. Im open to all dog sitting styles so if you like your dog crated at night or left to roam around just let me know. If your dog has specific preferences or needs please just specify before dropping them off.

Currently, my availability is limited to the evenings and weekends :) Some of my background… I began pet sitting in my own home as a child, where I learned the basics of animal care and behavior through my dog, two cats, and tortoise. My care experience became more comprehensive as they reached old age which translated well as I began looking after the pets of friends and neighbors by walking, feeding, medicating, and of course giving their animals lots of attention while they were away. As my professional career shifted toward wildlife research and handling, my experience in animal care increased significantly. I spent eight months out of this past year working as a pet care tech at a cage-free doggy day care and boarding facility, where I handled all different sizes, ages, and demeanors of dogs in groups of 10-25 animals. I became very effective in evaluating dog behavior in order to mitigate negative interactions in the groups and monitor any changes in their health while they were under my care. On top of this, I spent time bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing, feeding, and playing with dogs every single day.
