About: I’ve grown up in a house full of dogs and cats my entire life. I’m patient and loving and if your dog or cat needs a comforting place to stay, I’m your girl. I allow pets on furniture and to cuddle in bed. I have two Cavalier King Charles who are friendly and playful to keep them company. Accidents happen and if they do I will handle it with a gentle approach if your dog is a puppy or a senior. I am not working during the summer so my days consist mostly of cuddling in the couch with my pets, home workouts and walks with my dogs. I walk my dogs on leashes on the sidewalk and occasionally take them to the dog park. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am careful when I open my doors and ensure that each dog is leashed before opening the door to go outside for a walk.

As we were desperate and didn’t know what to do we texted Michele and in 5 minutes we were able to drop Saturno off for the day while we enjoyed the beach. About: A dog lover for as long as I can remember, I currently own one young pup after recently losing my two senior girls. I know how daunting it can be to imagine leaving your beloved animal with anyone other than you. The anxiety and stress that comes with making sure your dog is safe and cared for while you’re not able to is no joke, and I take the honor very seriously. I volunteered at the humane society as a canine coach for over 5 years and assisted with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperament, and need. I am experienced in senior dogs, and giving medication if needed. My oldest girl was a diabetic and I adhered strictly to her schedule and dosages. I will respect all of the directions and wishes of care for your furry friend as if they were my own. Dogs know dog people, and dogs are my people! I am an entrepreneur at heart. I own 2 small businesses, one of which is my sourdough bakery I run out of my home, but I am single with no children and big goals so I thought I’d merge my love of animals with the possibility to make some extra money. I work mostly from home, with only my regular weekly dog walks which don’t last longer than 3 hours so I am always able to get home every few hours. I am a true homebody and enjoy spending my free time relaxing at home with my dogs. If I am watching the animals in my home, I have several areas in my home that can be separated if need be. My puppy is put in a gated area whenever I am not home. Depending on the care instructions for your pet, I have various crates, gated areas, or if they are able to be out free while I’m away they will be (as long as everyone gets along and they aren’t damaging my property). I have a small fenced yard for quick potty breaks and a quiet safe neighborhood we walk daily. If your animal is staying in your home, I will follow the directions specific to care in your home as you tell me.

Some of my longer term clients include caring for senior dogs on multiple medications and special needs and have done a lot of vet appointments on behalf of the clients too. I currently work as a freelance photographer on the side so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily fit drop ins, walks and feeding around any potential photography jobs I might have which normally last an hour or so and a lot of work is done from home too. I would always be there overnight if I'm house sitting so your fur baby won't be left alone. I always ensure anything dangerous to your fur baby is out of the way. If needed I can crate your dog. Whatever safety measure you request I will do it to ensure the best for your cat or dog.

The farm was primarily a dairy farm, home to a herd of Jersey, Guernsey, and Holstein cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, guinea hens, ducks, and of course....plenty of dogs and cats. The responsibility and work-ethic that comes from animal husbandry is priceless - not only do I greatly value manual labor, but I also appreciate the dedication and daily grind that is intrinsic to farming and to ensuring that dependent animals' basic needs are met. Despite having lived in NYC, I still manage to spend time on farms and I travel extensively throughout the U.S., visiting and helping many friends/family that have different animals. Most recently, I have worked on a cattle ranch in Montana and goat dairy in Missouri, which were both a wonderful experiences. Since I have a full household of pets (and an human child) I am unfortunately unable to host any pets in my home. However, it is quite easy for me to get to places around the area, so I am happy to come to your home and take care of your pets. Sometimes, this is even better because then the animal(s) get to stay in the comfort of their home and don't experience the stress of a new environment, coupled with the absence of their owner!
