I've also worked with reactive dogs and believe every pup deserves calm, compassionate care that's tailored to them. You'll get plenty of photo updates, and if your dog loves to be active, don't be surprised if I send a Strava map of our walk or run too! I’m currently part-time! I can be there for you on weekend trips, evenings, and am willing to be a little flexible if your little guy (or gal) needs a spot during the week if I have some notice. I have a bulldog of my own that is super friendly! I’m fine administering medications, or if your dog has particularly special needs. I allow pets on furniture and to cuddle in bed. I have two Cavalier King Charles who are friendly and playful to keep them company. Accidents happen and if they do I will handle it with a gentle approach if your dog is a puppy or a senior. I am not working during the summer so my days consist mostly of cuddling in the couch with my pets, home workouts and walks with my dogs. I walk my dogs on leashes on the sidewalk and occasionally take them to the dog park. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am careful when I open my doors and ensure that each dog is leashed before opening the door to go outside for a walk.

About: I spent a lot of time taking care of my friends’ cats in the past. I fed them, cleaned their litter, and kept an eye on them throughout the day to make sure they stayed safe and out of trouble, whether that meant keeping them off the counters or out of the food bins. I’ve also learned that most cats tend to appreciate a little more space than dogs. I’m not going to constantly approach or bother them. I’m happy to let them do their own thing and come to me when they want attention, while still making sure they’re happy, safe, and cared for.

As we were desperate and didn’t know what to do we texted Michele and in 5 minutes we were able to drop Saturno off for the day while we enjoyed the beach. We received videos and pictures of Saturno playing in the couch and truly feeling like home. Saturno enjoyed his time there as he received tons of love and played with other puppies. Their house is a dream, it is very nice and spacious so your puppy will definitely have enough space to play around. We cannot be more thankful and grateful to Michele. About: A dog lover for as long as I can remember, I currently own one young pup after recently losing my two senior girls. I know how daunting it can be to imagine leaving your beloved animal with anyone other than you. The anxiety and stress that comes with making sure your dog is safe and cared for while you’re not able to is no joke, and I take the honor very seriously. I volunteered at the humane society as a canine coach for over 5 years and assisted with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperament, and need. I am experienced in senior dogs, and giving medication if needed. My oldest girl was a diabetic and I adhered strictly to her schedule and dosages. I will respect all of the directions and wishes of care for your furry friend as if they were my own. Dogs know dog people, and dogs are my people! I am an entrepreneur at heart. I own 2 small businesses, one of which is my sourdough bakery I run out of my home, but I am single with no children and big goals so I thought I’d merge my love of animals with the possibility to make some extra money. I work mostly from home, with only my regular weekly dog walks which don’t last longer than 3 hours so I am always able to get home every few hours. I am a true homebody and enjoy spending my free time relaxing at home with my dogs. If I am watching the animals in my home, I have several areas in my home that can be separated if need be. My puppy is put in a gated area whenever I am not home. Depending on the care instructions for your pet, I have various crates, gated areas, or if they are able to be out free while I’m away they will be (as long as everyone gets along and they aren’t damaging my property). I have a small fenced yard for quick potty breaks and a quiet safe neighborhood we walk daily. If your animal is staying in your home, I will follow the directions specific to care in your home as you tell me.

About: I have grown up around both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Always was ready to help care for the family pets whether it was feeding, walking, bathing or simply loving. Family and friends have often asked me to watch their pets and I've always had a great bond with many cats and dogs over the years. I pour everything into caring for them and its something I'm very proud of and enjoy doing. Some of my longer term clients include caring for senior dogs on multiple medications and special needs and have done a lot of vet appointments on behalf of the clients too. I currently work as a freelance photographer on the side so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily fit drop ins, walks and feeding around any potential photography jobs I might have which normally last an hour or so and a lot of work is done from home too.
