About: I have grown up around both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Always was ready to help care for the family pets whether it was feeding, walking, bathing or simply loving. Family and friends have often asked me to watch their pets and I've always had a great bond with many cats and dogs over the years. I pour everything into caring for them and its something I'm very proud of and enjoy doing. Some of my longer term clients include caring for senior dogs on multiple medications and special needs and have done a lot of vet appointments on behalf of the clients too. I currently work as a freelance photographer on the side so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily fit drop ins, walks and feeding around any potential photography jobs I might have which normally last an hour or so and a lot of work is done from home too. I would always be there overnight if I'm house sitting so your fur baby won't be left alone. I always ensure anything dangerous to your fur baby is out of the way. If needed I can crate your dog. Whatever safety measure you request I will do it to ensure the best for your cat or dog.
“Claudia was sweet pet sitter with my puppy Luna, took her on long walks and let her run and have fun, she sent videos and photos that we loved. Next time we need a pet sitter we will definitely contact her.”

“Tamesha did an excellent job with my pups, Layla & Hooch. She communicated very well, & was punctual on each day. I highly recommend Tamesha for all your pet's needs !!!”

“Alec is terrific with dogs and is professional, dependable and a pleasure to deal with. My dog Codi is an 85lb female Presa who can be a challenge with other dogs. Alec has a great rapport with my dog and loves her long walks with him. I highly recommend him.”

About: I've taken care of my own cats and dogs for many years and will treat your fur babies with the care and attention I do my own. I'm retired and will consider your pet's needs as my top priority. I'm available mornings and afternoons. Would prefer to avoid schedules after 7pm unless an emergency. I do not have the option of caring for your pet in my home due to my own pets but will take care of your pets and property as if the were my own.
About: I’m comfortable with cats & dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My guy is a wonderful handful so I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—not just feeding them and letting them out..but giving them attention, playtime, walks, and plenty of love. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Just like I would do for my own I am currently working 9–6 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, so Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday are the days I have the most flexibility for you and your furry ones. These are the days I can dedicate the most time and attention to your pets. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and schedule visits, walks, and drop-ins around their individual needs. I work until 6pm so night time can be available if needed. I have a dog named BlackJack who is blast and high energy, so I understand how important it is to know that your pet is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and other safety details, and I’ll follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and videos (if you would like) so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing!

“Chase was amazing. He was right on time and it seemed like Bennie loved him. Usually Bennie is a bit stubborn getting back into his crate, but he went right in with Chase. I would definitely use Chase again. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for more than 15 years. I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and pets with medical or behavioral needs. I currently work at a pet supply store, where I continue learning about pet nutrition, enrichment, training, and wellness. Outside of work, I’ve spent the past several years involved with rescue animals, giving me experience with dogs of many different temperaments and backgrounds. My own pets have taught me just as much. I previously cared for my beloved senior cat through kidney disease, arthritis, and dementia, so I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring changes in health, and providing compassionate senior and hospice-style care. I’ve also successfully managed dogs with fear-based aggression, giving me a strong understanding of canine body language, positive reinforcement, and how to safely build trust with anxious or reactive dogs. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking partner, medication, extra patience, enrichment, or simply a calm and dependable companion while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind. I currently work flexible part-time hours at a pet supply store and am also an online student, which gives me a schedule that is easy to work around your pet’s needs. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or medication on a consistent schedule, I’m happy to accommodate whenever possible. I believe pets thrive on routine, and I do my best to keep their schedule as close to normal as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I live in a quiet villa in Naples with my friendly rescue dog and three indoor cats. Every pet is introduced thoughtfully and separated when appropriate, ensuring everyone feels safe and comfortable. I’m experienced caring for senior pets, rescues, anxious dogs, and pets with medical needs. Having cared for my own cat through kidney disease, arthritis, and dementia, and having worked extensively with rescue dogs and fear-based behaviors, I understand the importance of patience, reading body language, and following each pet’s individual routine. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll treat them like one of my own.
About: I’m someone who truly believes pets are family. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and for the past four years I’ve had my own sweet girl by my side. She’s incredibly friendly and gets along with every dog—no matter their size, personality, or energy level. My love for dogs runs deep (honestly, I love them more than humans!), and I care for every pup as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs playtime, snuggles, structure, or just a calm and comforting presence, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. You can feel confident knowing your fur baby will be treated with patience, affection, and genuine care—just like family. I work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone. I can take them out for walks 2–3 times a day, or more if they need it. I have a balcony for the dogs to enjoy and a spacious apartment with plenty of room to relax. If needed, I can also set up secure, fenced-off areas for extra safety.

“Karen B was terrific,,,, my labs loved her. Ali can be alittle bit of a stinker when she doesn’t know the person but Karen overcame that quickly by getting down on the floor and chatting with Ali. She even got a kiss by the end of the weekend. 💕🐾 Karen was great about providing updates and even pics while I was away. I will for sure use Karen B again. Thanks!”

About: As someone who has two dogs myself, I know how important it is to have a trust worthy person interacting with my pets. I always grew up with at least one dog or cat in my household so I have a lot of experience interacting with dogs. I’ve also spent my time volunteering with an organization that trains future assistant dogs before relocating from St Louis. I work remotely full-time so I have a lot of flexibility within the week to do check-ins in your home. I have no issues with keeping weekends open for longer check-ins as well. For check-ins, I’m very open to what your needs are for your pet. I have no issues taking your dog for a walk, regardless of their on leash training. I have experience with crating dogs as well if needed.

“Samantha was so wonderful with our dog and with us. We had a last minute trip away and Samantha was in constant communication with us on every walk. She’s also super sweet, dependable, reliable, and most of all, our dog loved her. We will definitely use her again and everyone should, too!”

“Whitney walked my dog, Finnegan, a 5 year old Whippet for a few months while I was on assignment in Naples. She was always on time, polite and trustworthy. My neighbors would always tell me how good she was with him. She gave him fresh water after every walk and sometimes ever picked up after him when would tear up a toy or get into things he shouldn't have. 10/10 recommend!!”

Tamesha and her daughter are a power duo! They have been walking my dog daily for a few weeks now and I always know I can depend on them. My neighbors have stopped me and told me how well Tamesha handles my dog in public spaces and how great she treats not only my dog but the others around her. Not to mention how great her communication is. I can’t recommend Tamesha enough!!!

Maddy was absolutely wonderful! From the moment she arrived, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about dogs. She took the time to get to know both of our Labs—our 10-year-old senior and our 7-month-old puppy—and asked thoughtful questions about their personalities, routines, and needs. She has such a kind, calm demeanor and was incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and professional. Even at just 21 years old, she is impressively driven, knowledgeable, and passionate about what she does. She offered great training advice and made us feel confident moving forward with daycare, training, and eventually boarding while we travel. It’s such a relief to have someone we trust outside of family to care for our dogs, and it’s an added bonus that she’s only about 10 minutes from downtown Naples. We’re excited to continue working with Maddy and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional, compassionate pet care. Brittany & Blake

Mikayla is truly the best. She goes above and beyond for both my dog and I. She is an animal whisperer- my puppy absolutely adores her. She doesn’t just provide the service I book her for- she also always takes time to love on my dog and play with him. She makes sure all of his needs are always met. I also love her just as much as my dog does. She is the best communicator. She always lets me know when she’s on her way, updates me on what my dog does, how he seems, what she does with him, and she sends so many pictures and videos. It gives me the best peace of mind while I’m away. She is also a kind and trustworthy person who is warm and loving towards animals. I never have to worry about a thing when I know Mikayla is looking after him.

Beth did a really nice job. She was able to provide me with reliable service and great communication. I have a very busy work schedule and rely on a dog walker. my daily dog walker had a family emergency and I was able to text Beth last minute and get some things set up.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
