I treat every pet like they are part of my family, and understand how difficult it is to trust others to take good care of your furry loved ones when you can't be there. I've always been compelled to care for animals - from triaging wounded bunnies, birds, and lizards that our cat would bring home to being the guy all of my friends turn to watch over their pets when away. I don't take the responsibility lightly - I know how crushed I would be if something happened to my AnnieBear. That's why always I stay vigilant when caring for pets. Chocolate, cane toads, alligators, swallowed socks... There are a lot of hazards out there that our pets need protecting from in addition to the loving care they deserve. I am experienced with all sorts of situations, species, and temperaments: Elderly diabetic dogs needing medication, untrained puppies, aggressive dogs, groups of dogs (4 and 9) stealthy cats, lizards, snakes, etc! My background is in pathology, and Biotechnology so I am proficient in medication. I am well trained for any crisis situations, and am a state licensed real estate peofessional- so you'll always feel at ease allowing access to your home. I have my own senior aged Maltipoo that is relatively easy to care for. Though she loves to sleep and would do it all day- I know how important physical health is to maintain quality of life. I make sure all pets that are able get ample time to play to keep them healthy.

Alec took excellent care of our 12 yr old and 4 yr old dogs while we were out of town for a few days. They got lots of walks, cuddle time, and play time. Our older dog usually gets depressed when we travel but instead she played and had a grand time with Alec. Highly recommended!
This was our second time having Alec watch our two dogs while we went on vacation. Once again he took excellent care of them, giving them tons of love and attention. He kept us updated daily and made sure they each got the comfort they needed while we were away. Our dogs are already missing him. We will absolutely book him again in the future.

Alec did an outstanding job caring for my pets and home while I was away for four days over a long weekend. He was attentive, reliable, and kept me updated with pictures, which gave me great peace of mind while traveling. When I returned home, my pets were happy and well cared for, and the house was just as clean as I had left it. I am a local Realtor, so my scheduling is very flexible. A large portion of my work is virtual, and any in-person work I am able to flexibly schedule around other obligations.
