About: For me, caring for animals has never felt like simply “pet sitting.” They are family—and when someone is trusting me with a member of theirs, I take that responsibility to heart. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 13 years old, and today I help care for my family’s lively crew of four dogs and two cats. Senior pets hold an especially meaningful place in my heart. This past September, I said goodbye to Shadow, my Blue Heeler/Pit Bull mix, whom I had loved since he was just three months old. I work from home, with either a daytime schedule of 10 a.m.–6 p.m. or an evening schedule of 4–11 p.m. This allows me to build pet care into my daily routine and make time for meals, bathroom breaks, play, and companionship. Being home is only part of it; paying attention matters just as much. Pets can’t tell us what they need in words, so I take time to notice their habits, body language, and little requests for attention. Whether that means a nudge for a bathroom break, an invitation to play, or wanting someone nearby, I care about learning how your pet communicates. I do have focused work periods, so we’ll discuss your pet’s routine and care needs before booking to make sure my availability is a good fit. This is especially important for older pets who may need more frequent check-ins or a particular schedule. I want to understand what a comfortable day looks like for your pet and how I can help keep it that way while you’re away. I start by learning the little things that matter to your pet: their familiar routines, favorite activities, where they like to rest, and how they let you know they need something. I follow your instructions for meals, walks, bathroom breaks, litter care, and rest, with time for play and affection on their terms. In your home, I keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible and treat your space with care and respect. I let your pet get comfortable with me at their own pace, whether they’re ready to play right away or prefer a quieter introduction. Senior pets are especially close to my heart. Caring for my dog Shadow through his later years taught me the importance of patience, gentleness, and noticing small changes. I’m happy to move at an older pet’s pace, and we’ll discuss any health, mobility, or supervision needs beforehand so I can be clear about the care I can reliably provide. Before you leave, we’ll confirm care instructions, veterinary and emergency contacts, and your preferences for photos and updates. I want you to feel comfortable sharing the details—even the ones that seem small. They’re part of knowing your pet, and they matter to me, too.

About: *Attention Students, Seniors (65+), and Veterans, please inquire about special rates when messaging me; Proof of veteran/student status required* I have taken care of dogs since childhood. Family and friends have always been able to rely on me when it comes to caring for their pets. My schedule is fairly flexible and can easily be adapted to their needs. While I usually require at least 24 hr notice for a booking, I am willing to accommodate you in the case of an emergency if I am able.For those who live within a 10 mile radius of me, I shall waive the pickup fee. Generally I follow whatever instructions are left and then add in a few enrichment activities. I also make sure they are introduced to the other members of my family so that they can feel comfortable with new strangers. I make sure that strangers do not attempt to pet my clients; this is for everyone’s safety the dog’s included.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals and feel very comfortable handling pets with different needs and personalities. I currently work in recreational therapy twice a week, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail skills that carry over into providing safe and attentive pet care. As an online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, consistency, an supervision they deserve. At home, our family has five dogs, so I am very familiar with managing multiple pets at once and maintaining consistent schedules. In addition to daily care, I have experience with overnight dog sitting that includes week-long stays where I handled feeding, walks, playtime and managing pet's normal routines. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.

Before the stay, they agreed to a meet and greet and took the time to ask detailed questions about Darwin's routine, schedule, and where everything was located. Darwin seemed comfortable with them right away, which was important to us. During the stay, they were responsive when we reached out and sent photos showing Darwin looking relaxed and comfortable. We did have to prompt them for updates a few times, as they occasionally forgot to send them despite our request for regular communication. When we returned home, Darwin appeared happy, healthy, and well cared for. He clearly enjoyed being able to stay in his own home environment. The house was generally left in good condition. There were a few minor issues that arose during the stay, some of which the sitters brought to our attention while we were away. Overall, Darwin was safe, cared for, and comfortable while we were away.”

About: As a child I've grown up with multiple animals as animals as pets, including a few dogs and a few cats. Professionally, I've had four total years taking care of different animals, which includes supervising dogs as well as helping various animals such as cats, guinea pigs, and other animals get adopted. I have had general experience feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, and over all playing with and supervising dogs. I also have had experience taking care of elderly and disabled animals, which includes but is not limited to a 19 year old cat with arthritis and kidney disease. I have experience giving animals oral medications at the correct times and have been consistently. As of right now, I am offering house sitting, drop-ins and dog walking. As of right now, all seven days of the week are generally free for me and I am home most of the time. However, there may be some days where I'm not available, such as certain holidays or family events. If something happens where I can't take care of your animal(s) (such as an emergency), I'll try to let you know ahead of time. I'll always keep your animals supervised regardless of whatever service I'm doing at the time. If your animal takes medications, I'll administer them at the correct times.
