About: I have always been an animal lover. I've had small,medium and extra large dogs! Growing up I was the kid that had rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I am able to drive, which allies me to be available for drop ins, walks, and emergencies if needed. Overall, I am dedicated to making families feel safe with leaving their pets at home and making the pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part time and am an online college student. I work Wednesday and Friday nights from 4pm-9pm. For my college classes I do not have to be on any type of zoom, so I do my course work at my own pace. I provide care in my clients home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 5 years through family, friends, and neighbors. I’m experienced with feeding routines, daily walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of love and attention while owners are away. I can comfortably administer oral medications, perform basic grooming like brushing and wiping paws, and I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine. “Mary watched my two dogs a total of four times for three days at a time, and I waited till the last visit to write a review. Mary is absolutely awesome. My youngest can be a handful at times, but Mary is extremely patient, caring, and truly just loves dogs. I received a message from Mary on the second visit that my dog threw up and was not feeling good. She asks me if she can boil chicken breast and rice for him to have something easier on the stomach. This just made me feel good about leaving them in her care and that she had his best interest. She truly wants the best for them. She is the first person my dog has ever ran up to invitingly and was not timid of. I will definitely be going back to Mary if I’m in need of a good dog sitter.”
