About: With two dogs of my own and five years of professional animal care under my belt, I’ve found that taking care of animals is my passion. I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in preprofessional animal medicine. Through my education, I’ve gained knowledge on animal nutrition, handling, anatomy, and behavior. Professionally, I’ve been working with small domestic animals for five years. Starting as a cat volunteer at the humane society, I learned to socialize, feed, clean litter boxes, and handle cats. I then proceeded to learn basic handling of rodents, rabbits, and reptiles as an undergrad. For my two most recent positions, I worked as a kennel attendant and dog handler. About: I’ve volunteered at my local Humane Society for three years consistently. I’ve had a dog for over 4 years and I’ve helped my best friend pet sit her 8 pets for the past 3 years. There is a walking/running trail at the local dog park within 5 minutes of my location to help keep your dog active and engaged! My home is very spacious and has a large fenced backyard for your puppies to play! I am prepared and have extra dog beds, bowls, and toys to make your pup feel comfortable. I offer walking, boarding and home visits. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am currently a college student, so I have a very flexible weekend schedule to be able to spend with your pups. I'm also available for sitting, walks, and boarding on Fridays. My spacious backyard is fenced, along with the use of puppy gates in my home to ensure your pup is safe.
